So, I got this USB charging hub which connects directly to the wall socket. It outputs 0.8A on two sockets, 1A also on two sockets, 1.5A and 2A.

What will my HTC One prefer? On stock rom 0.8A gives you a slow charging warning, 1A is same as stock charger. Will 1.5A or 2A do any harm, or just charge my battery a lot faster?
Anyone?

Neither.
It will still draw up to 1A whilst charging.

So it's limited to 1A when charging?

Thanks a dozen, so it doesn't matter what Ampere I use as long as it's 500mA++ though seeing 800mA giving "slow charge" notification in sense, I'd go with at least 1A

mine are all 1+ (even though I'm using old chargers too, but the lowest is 1A), and never get a "slow charge" notification, so yep recommend to go with 1+ chargers.

is it ok to charge moto x with samsung charger with this input output spec:
100-240v ~ 50-60Hz0.15A
output : 5.0v ~ 1.0A
is that ok from your experience ? or is there any recommendation what kind of charger I should not use for moto x or what type of charger that I'm ok to use for those who want to take care of their moto x ?

i believe it is fine. I use any charger with a micro usb and never had a problem. Never even considered looking at the output levels. The stock charger coming with the phone is 5v 1150ma so you should be fine with that charger. the stock charger i believe is some fast type charger or something because it charges that beast up real fast like.
how long you got your phone fully charge let's say it start charging from 10% ? 2 hours ?

less than two. like an hour and a half max
also click reply instead of just posting a response so it notifies people, otherwise it won't notify and they may never know you responded to them

About midnight to 8am using the white charger and a 3.0 cable

My phone won't even charge if I'm using it while it's connected to the PC. It will show that it is charging but the percentage drops...and that's with USB 3.0 mode. Personally, I don't think the USB ports have enough juice to power this beast. The wall charger is 5.3v @ 2 amps while USB 3.0 is 5v @ 900mA, Less than half of the wall charger amps and lower voltage. Perhaps it needs to be off in order to charge.

It was plugged into the wall. I'm sending it back to Samsung for warranty. Since I did nothing wrong.

Hi, just bought a mi max 2 and wanted to know if the charger the reseller supplied me would charge at qc 3 speeds. Is there an app that will show this information? Thanks
No, you don't need an app. If it came in original box and packaging, the supplied charger should be the original and QC 3.0 certified one. Also, to see if your phone is using QC or not you can see that on the status bar, the charging icon should be other in different charging methods. The screenshot I uploaded will show the icon when the phone is in Quick Charge.

Hi, they took the original charger out and supplied me with a new Samsung one that fits my nz/au wall socket. It does come up with that symbol when I plug it in but I don't know if it's qc 1 2 or 3? Thanks

Make me a photo of the charger with all details and I will tell you if it supports QC 3
Samsung EP-TA20HWE, 5v 2a, adaptive fast charging

No, this is not a QC 3.0 charger. It supports only up to QC 2.0. You can also see that by the voltage output it supports. QC 3.0 charging is using up to 12V, while QC 2.0 only 9V, same like yours.
Yes
Yes that should fast charge but only at QC 2.0 Speeds you phone you look for the voltage 9v=qc2.0 12v=qc3.0
OK thanks, it charges fast enough for me but I heard that qc 3 was easier on battery wear. Is this true? I was thinking of buying this one but not sure if it's original:

You don't need to bother yourself searching for an original Xiaomi charger. Buy some QC certified one like Anker, Aukey, etc...
Hi. I need help regarding my p20 pro. It charges super slow like almost 6 hours just to full. I tried measuring the charging rate with an app and this was the result.

Are you using huawei's own charger and charging cable?
When you plug the charger in,does it say "Supercharging" on the display?
Use a toothpick gently to remove any dust etc that may be in charging port.
Hi!
Check whether the phone and the power adapter are connected properly. And you should use box accessories (original) charger.
Hi. My phone is on stock MIUI 12.0.1. It is not rooted nor unblocked.
The phone came with a regular (5VĂ—2A=10W) charger that works fine. I tried to charge it with with two different Samsung chargers (9V x 1.67A = 15W) and it does detect that it is fast charger yet the battery level keeps dropping.
Do I need a 18W charger? Do you think it is a bug/hardware problem? It is still under warranty.
Thanks!
Ampere - Apps on Google Play
Measure the charging and discharging current of your battery.
play.google.com
Install this and screenshot the screen to me, while the phone is plugged in.
First picture is with the regular 10W xiaomi charger and second with the 15W Samsung one. Sorry about the spanish words but you can see the voltage and current. Both Samsung chargers show about the same and they both work fine with their phones. Samsung chargers say "adaptive fast charging"

May not be compatible fast charging technologies.
Yeah... I've been doing some more research and that is what I'm thinking too... The phone is supposedly compatible with "qualcomm quick charge 3.0" and just maybe it is not compatible with Samsung chargers. What I did not expect was for the phone to actually discharge while plugged in. I will try to test a different charger and report back but being COVID times and everyhting it may take a while. Thanks to both of you!

Best bet is to use a OEM charger and cable.
I have 2 sets for my Samsung... makes troubleshooting easier.
