[ROM] Helly_Bean [4.3] [nightly builds] - Devil Kernel included

This Rom always is build from latest cm10.2 sources, with many additional changes.
Please flash gapps from goo.im after installing the rom.
Additional changes, compared to cm10 (this list might not be complete):
- facebook sync integrated
- option to enable high end gfx effects
- possibility to activate and customize navigation bar (color of background, glow effect, transparency)
- possibility to customize statusbar (color of background, transparency)
- transparent lockscreen (taken from paranoid android, coded by jesus david)
- customizable long-press-back-kill timeout (from 500ms to 3000ms)
- misc settings in settings menu
- added possibility to change the colors of the statusbar toggles
- added option to enable/disable coloring of toggles
- added option to display a small bar below the toggles as indicator for toggle state
- own kernel included

Weird, that it isn't booting. The builds for sgs1 and sgs2 are working.
Could one please grep a logcat.
edit: big sorry. it's the first time for me, building for a nexus device...i just didn't know about the prop files needed to be downloaded from google....compiling new build now

no,
it is coming with the stock recovery. you need to replace it by yourself. maybe i'll add my recovery to the build later, but it is also based off cwm. i just have added some basic touch

Till now, you have to modify the build.prop yourself, or use one of the apps for this. I am going to add an option soon.

I tried it with the codename gapps and it is working well also now has effects for the camera

Yes you can via pressing voldown and power button plus you can go into setting and add screenshot to the power menu

Do NOT flash rom+gapps back to back! It will cause Home button and Quick Settings not working !

I tested it, it's bugfree. But i don't know why, but i have worse deep sleep than on kholk's CM, so i rolled back.
And u know, it's AOSP, it don't have some functions like CM.
@down i don't know, check by yourself, i just love CM

what keeps the device awake? baseband i guess? or another bug?
and for your information, @SMillerNL cannot test it, he has a N4 and no 4x HD

Ups, sorry for misunderstanding! Unluckily i can't tell that, i didn't check what was the problem.. I realised the AOSP isn't for me and hadn't searched for the reason of the deep sleep problem.

I think it's quite a fair bit smoother than CM10.1

Currently running this ROM with iodakv6 kernel - very fast, smooth etc - better than CM10.1, in my opinion.

For me this rom is excellent :thumbup:

This ROM could do a bit with deep sleep.

This is a CyanogenMod cm10.1.0_RC5 rom all I've done is edited it to get a little bit of a miui feel !

Some of these apps are early versions but still have a nice feel. The only problem I've come a cross is in miui gallery the thumbnail pictures are first shown as all black or white colour??? so I've also added gallery 3D app into rom. when you look at pictures in gallery 3D app then go back to miui gallery the thumbnail pictures are shown proper. Please don't do any CyanogenMod system updates if people like this rom i'll do an new version up date rom. And i'm always looking to add more miui

tried mihome on a cm10.1 based rom and lockscreen dosen't work,it lags and I have to press the power button twice every time I want to turn the scren on..don't you have this problem on this rom ?

This ROM works perfectly for me... Try simply uninstalling mihome. I use nova launcher prime and it's quite smooth. I'll keep you informed because I haven't tested the battery drain and the game speed yet.

I get no lags and only the odd time you will see the CyanogenMod lock screen flash up before the miui lock screen. but what you can do is
go to CyanogenMod settings , lock screen , screen security then select screen lock, to none .

already done but on the rom I'm using is still lagging...
maybe I'll try this rom..

I think settings and statusbar might be a hard one to figure out might involve the framework of rom I'm not to sure ? but i'll look into it... ( I'm very new to all of this. This is my first rom I've edited and my first thread on xda so hope everyone will be kind..lol )

I never kept a record I'm afraid sorry, I download so many roms and files wether they worked or not I tend to delete the original files Straight after use. ( But Google was my best friend in the search tho :laugh: )

I used CM device tree and prefer CM kernel because they are more frequently updated

You sure? That's the other way round for our device...but CM kernel is the most compatible anyway...

Oh I always like CM ...I don't own the device so i don't know but in general CM repos are most stable for me

This ROM is great so far. Maybe the fastest and smoothest ROM I've tried. And more customizations and features than any other I've seen on our device. Halo is also better than the version in a lot of the other ROMs out there. Love the animated transitions and the interface settings menu is organized beautifully.

Nice rom! I like pure aosp and this is the most approach atm.
Screenrecord is a bit laggy (hd res, pretty well in low res), but works!

hi as this thread seems stagnant, any1 using this rom can pls post a reveiw regarding functions in this rom, or a few screenshots etc,,,,

Basically has the same features as CM, and another goodies already mentioned above.
I recommend that try and draw your own conclusions

Try CWM 6.0.4.4, it has support for KitKat

use cwm 6.0.4.4 or latest philz touch recovery only

Nice and smooth ROM. I have a couple of issues. The camera FC's after a minute or two, and FC's immediately when trying to swap to video, forcing me to reboot.
Any ideas?
