Hello, As you can see I'm a brand new member here and the forum is great so far.
The issue I'm having is with the KFHD 2013 running 11.3.1, I have followed the thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2544736 . My issue is within the script, when I attempt to run it it gives me an error saying "More than one device and emulator". I tried for several hours to get this to work, and no results. Now I ask you for help, Please and thanks.

Hello Everyone, first post after several hours of research and first attempt to root and flash a device.
A little about the device, it is a Kindle Fire (non-HD)
I did a factory reset on the device before doing anything.
I followed the instruction i found on this forum to install Kindle Fire Utility 9.6
Following this, I downloaded and installed, JB-AOKP_otter_unofficial_Oct-17-12.
I followed this install with: gapps-jb-2012-0726-signed
Everything was going great. All of the sudden I got a pop-up stating Process com.android.phone has stopped. As fast as I press "OK" it returned.
The only resolution I have been able to get is to force the tablet back into TWRP and restore it, as once it appears there is no way around it.
has anyone encountered this issue and found a solution?
Thanks in advance, I am new to rooting (first shot ever) and eager to learn what I can about it.
Adam
Good morning,
As a follow up, I tried to re-install the Android system. Somehow I managed to delete too much by way of wiping the system and basically locked the KF up until I was able to mount it as a USB drive. I placed the OS file back in the directory (the original KF software was gone). I reloaded the OS and seemingly it works correctly.
Up to this point I have not had the error return, so the only real change was the complete removal of the KF software. The unfortunate part, is if I were to ever want to sell the KF I have no way to return it to stock, Atleast not that I have figured out yet.
Now on to searching for a volume control, that is easy to use....

Hello all,
I am not noob as I have rooted 7 android devices till yet. But this 1 is really giving me nuts. I cannot root my LG P990-hN at all.
I am on stock 2.3 rom.
Super one click root hangs terribly for 5 minutes and then gives a protocol failure error. (Tried all modes gbreak etc)
NVFlash giving me this error
Nvflash started
rcm version 0X20001
Command send failed (usb write failed)
All the drivers are properly installed as directed in forums.
I have gone through the search but didn't find the answer to it.
Any help is appreciated.

Super one click is one of many ways to root the phone: You should really have a look at this thread. It offers three different approaches to rooting with gingerbread. Speaking of which, I hope you have at least considered switching to a 4.x ROM, as it offers a much better user experience. I personally switched to the ICS bootloader with the all-in-one toolkit and flashed tonyp's CM10.1 build, it has root out of the box. You can find both in the linked thread. Good luck with it!
Use last version of SuperCharge.
Don't forget usb debugging mode.
Dear friends, I had rooted my device using AIO. There was a problem with usb drivers. Now the touch is gone no matter which rom I install. Please help me as no one is helping me here.
Hi All
I noticed a couple other people had this problem and I am not sure if we have a solution for it yet. Trying to install CM11 using the Toolbox on my TPad and have come up to a pretty strong roadblock lol. I have downloaded the files from jcsullins approved list but every time I get to mounting the media it gives me the error message from my topic title. For the life of me I can't figure out why!
Any help would be appreciated. This is driving me nuts!

I am a beginner at this, so bear with me. I had an old HTC One lying around that was somewhat in a non-working state. Not as a phone anyway as it constantly lost service. Someone told me that it might perhaps be a software issue and if I rooted it and used a different ROM, it could fix my problem. So, for the first time, I gave it a shot. I tried a bunch of things, followed many tutorials, but I couldn't gain s-off on the device. Finally, someone said since my hboot was version 1.57, I would need to use sunshine to accomplish my goal. I did so and it worked. So now I followed another tutorial which showed how to make it a google play edition device. So I flashed the RUU and it failed the first time around. I tried again as the tutorial said I would have to only to get another error. My computer said it was waiting for a device. Basically my problem is that now when I'm in fastboot mode, my computer won't recognize it. When I boot it normally however, it acts like usual. I've visited other suggested threads on these forums, but to no avail. I've tried other chords, I've updated drivers, I've gone into the device manager and did just about everything suggested. So I've come here for one last try. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated.
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum.

Thank you for your assistance in moving my thread to the correct location. I'd also like to note that I read quite a few articles where people seem to have the same problems as I have or have had, but none of them seem to help. Just so you know I didn't run straight for the post option and actually put some effort into finding my solution before hand.
I got my Air 3G a few weeks back and have been largely impressed with it. £120 for a 3G enabled Windows 10/Android 5 tablet? Bargain.
I recently decided to get around to rooting it and then the problems occurred. I followed all of the tutorials I could find and none of them worked. The Toolbox, iRoot, vRoot, Kingroot - on device and from desktop - all said they'd worked but upon reboot none of them had.
I then tried to go straight to updating to a ROM with built in root but that didn't work either. Following the Toolbox instructions I got a "couldn’t find boot device handle" error, followed by the message "E:No valid installer medium found". I Googled them but found nothing useful. Hopefully anyone following in my footsteps will find their way here.
Eventually I discovered this thread and followed the instructions within. At last I was rooted.
Next I tried to install the Xposed framework using TecKnight's tutorial. This didn't work either, despite me running it both as an admin and from the command line directly. It said it had both times and Android even did its 'updating system apps' thing upon reboot, but the framework was nowhere to be found.
I still haven't got it working but all of these issues are leading me to wonder if there's something special about the model I have.
Should I try flashing one of the clean 5.0 ROMs? Is it even safe to do it given the issues I've had so far?
Any observations/suggestions would be gratefully received!
