[Q]Busybox install location - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Quick question when I install busybox I was wondering which location was a better install location, for instance my current Rom has a stripped version in /bin but on 90% of the other roms it's in / xbin and I'm wondering if install location has any affect on functionality and if it does or don't which is the best location for a full install?

I prefer installing to bin because bin is for core binaries. If you want a fully functional binary like busybox install it to bin. But there is no big difference between xbin and bin.

I would be installing it for apps like Call Recorder by skvlex , alsa mixer, and WiFiKill Pro

ONE Messaging app (stock) broken

Is there any sort of fix to the stock messaging app when it decides to just stop working? I really don't want to use a 3rd party app nor should I HAVE too

I'd Google "messaging apk" and see what results you get. I'll bet someone has made it available and all you would need to do is download it and install it and you should be good to go. Otherwise someone on here might be nice enough to extract that apk from their stock and give it to you.

Simple Contacts Widget

I really miss the Simple Contacts Widget from my Note 2. Is there an apk out there for this? I have a flashable zip, but of course it can't be flashed yet....

Actually my memory is bad. It's an apk but you can't install it. You have to place it in the system folder which will require root. I am on the fence about rooting. I paid full price for this phone., so warranty is important. I've always rooted in the past

So why would anybody else's apk work? Lol sorry just don't see much logic behind this post

you can use Android Pro Widgets to get contacts widget like HTC phones and its free.

Hmm i'm not using Next Launcher for a while because it is not a need.
I had Slimkat original launcher that comes with the ROM that launcher runs smoothly!
Now i'm back at the moment to Gingerbread Stock ROM and i'm using that launcher smoothly too.
Sometimes are there no need for choosing a launcher from the play store, if you have a good rom.

I have used that launcher too but my phone and i doesn't like Google Apps etc.
So me and my phone were switched back to rom or stock launcher.
Google now is just a kitkat launcher i thought so...
Only the Google integration is a difference...

I currently use Next Launcher on my tablets, just to clarify. I think it would be a little overboard on a phone.
