KitKat and Gear - Samsung Galaxy Gear

Just installed the latest leak for the note 3. KitKat 4.4.2
Gear working fine FYI.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2608178

Just curious what version of note 3 you have? N9005? I've been wondering if the leak will work on an N900W8 or not
Devices:
- Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900W8 on X-Note 7.0 (ML2) with Compulsion Kernel 6.0
- Galaxy Gear on null_18 (ML1)

Was wondering this. I am building a custom kitkat rom for the note 3 right now

No I mean I thought the devs wanted people to wait for releases until more stuff was settled...
I slogged my way through the build errors on my device... seems some display thing is preventing it from booting. Or something in the RAMdisk I spose - it's just not booting, and there is no adb
Released also for Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 by @Grarak

C'mon guys this is xda-developers. If you want to build, have at it! We're here to help.
But endless "what about my device" posts are really quite useless. Either build it yourself, or wait patiently until someone does.
I know, I'm asking too much aren't I.....

Where in the world did the thanks button go...
I9000 and I9100, along with any other Samsung device with unified recovery and kernel in a single image (without the FOTAKernel trick used on Sonys), are going to need some significant rework of the recovery build process. Until building TWRP on userdebug builds is fixed, these devices will only be usable if you create an eng build.
So it'll probably be at least a week or two before any of the "single unified kernel" Samsungs can be worked on as there are some nasty blockers we need to fix.

Damn good question.
I'll toy with my S3 I747 and see if I can get something to boot. What do you mean by "unified recovery and kernel in a single image"? I've never seen anything like that for the S3 (unless the S3 just happens to not have the same problem)

Reverting back to stock ROM

I would like to try out the Null ROM but I want to make sure I can revert back to stock using twrp or something. I am pretty satisfied with the stock ROM but with the extra features of Null I figured I would give it a whirl.
It's just like any other device you've ever rooted. Yes, you can revert back. Do a nandroid backup of your stock ROM and you can restore it if you don't like Null... (But seriously, once you go null you'll never go back )
Devices:
- Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900W8 on X-Note 7.0 (ML2) with Compulsion Kernel 6.0
- Galaxy Gear on null_18 (ML1)

Hi. Is the null rom is in English only, or are there other languages?

N910C Android Nougat 7.0 UPDATE!!

Right, so recently, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 T810 (which has the same chipset as the Galaxy Note 4 N910C/H) has received the official Android 7.0 Nougat update from Samsung (https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/general/7-0-sm-t810-manual-install-t3585044). This is AMAZING news for those of us using an N910C/H (Exynos variant device) as it means that a port for Android Nougat from the Galaxy Tab S2 to the N910C/H is possible!!
Here are some links! http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-T810

[Q] Can you port Galaxy Note 3 Rom, all features and all icons to Galaxy Note N7000?

Hi, I can't find a rom for the galaxy note n7000 that looks and feels completely like the Galaxy Note 3 so I would be (happy) if you could port galaxy note 3 apps and features into an android 4.3 custom rom based on CM10.2 for the Galaxy Note N7000 including Galaxy Note 3 TouchWiz. And yes I know it's 2020 and the Galaxy S20 series are out now, but I feel like a throwback to 2013 would be fun, so can you do this please? Also the theme that can be in this custom rom can be the newest Galaxy S4 theme with icons from android 4.3. And the last thing that I have to say is, please include s voice.
This post made my day. Good luck for your request...

What about porting the Galaxy Note 3 ROM, features and apps to the Galaxy Note GT-N7000?
