You cannot Port TouchWiz for CM Based ROMs... The best you can do is theme CM's framework and other required files to make it look like TouchWiz...

even i was waiting for the answer .......
hey sami , is there no way .........

[Q] Optimus 4x lockscreen

someone can port this lockscreen?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1585684
Lockscreens were implemented deep in android framework and that is a custom for stock 4. 0x. I think it is very hard to port it to GB.

We could take the cm7 one, where you only have the bubble in the middle of the screen and mod this one maybe... idk for sure, cause i am no themer or modder, but i think this could work

Cm 10.1 to cm7.2

I got this idea to go to cm 7.2 transfer files to allow applications to run with android 4.2.2. Inches 10.1 is slow and unstable, but it has a nice application. It's not about porting or a transfer u. The idea is to start alikacje 3.xx/4.xx on android 7.2 cm without porting them only for system modifications.
nope, can't do, they wont run. before cluttering forum with useless threads like this one, please try your ideas by yourself...
As if to port of the gingerbread rom jb. For example, the kernel cm to 10.1 cm 7.2

4.x.x apps can't run on cm7 because of completely different frameworks of both

[Q] Is there vanilla Android for s3 mini?

Please excuse my ignorance in this, but all these roms and mods confuse me, lol.
Is there any way to get original plain Android on the s3 mini? The one without touchwiz, I think it's called Vanilla Android?
My phone is rooted and has a custom rom on it already.
Thanks.
Do you mean the regular stock UI? (Cm10, aokp, etc) if so, a cm10 beta just came out on the maclaw website.

No, just the plain Android Jelly Bean, like the Google Nexus 4 phone.

No sadly, AOSP isn't available because ST Ericsson isnt releasing source codes for our NovaThor chipset which means developers have to build it with their own codes which isnt easy and there aren't many developers are willing to do that, currently only Maclaw is working on CM10

I see no point of porting miui v5 atm.
CM10.1 still has some bugs so miui will have them too. I think it is better to build v4 based on stock, and no, im not saying i can do it, i am a noob about all that. Tho im sure somebody knows how to do it.

You can't do that because you need a stable CM based to port v4. Stock sammy's rom can't be used as a base source.
I hope you can do this port king, thanks in advance

JoyOS is easy to port to GB, as it's a GB ROM. For a JB version u have to start from scratch.
To OP: I have tried and failed many times.

Probably because it needs CM7 kernel, and we do not have it. If it is CM7 based. Not sure, but logical. MIUI 4 will bootloop if you have non CM kernel.
