Hi guys,
I was looking for a simple way to disable the led when the phone is charging, without success...
So I decided to try it myself, with the XPosed framework.
Please feel free to try this mod : by default, all the leds are enable. You can enable/disable each led (low/charging/full) in the XPosed module settings.
The module is tested only on my 4.4.2 stock XPeria ZR. It should run on others phones (nothing specific to sony) but I did not try myself.
As usual with XPosed modules, you need to activate the module in XPosed, then reboot. You don't need to reboot when you change the leds settings.
Edit : Added to the XPosed module repository : http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.boblc.disablechargingled
Edit : This mod cannot enable leds that are not enable in your rom/device. That's only for disabling it.
If you have any problem, please try the 1.0.2 version and activate the log in the settings. Please pm me the XPosed log to let me see what is wrong. Thanks.
Please post any suggestions/bugs/questions in this thread, thanks.

Thanks. Could you please tell me if there is anything related to this mod in the XPosed log ?
I don't have rooted Nexus to test...
Ok, got it. BatteryService changed in 4.4. I need to handle both code.

Hi CatsAreGod, just to be sure, are you running on stock ? Which version ? Cause it seems that the Nexus 4 has no charging led on stock...

I'm stock 4.4.2 except for Franco kernel. And no, Nexus 4 does not have a dedicated charging LED, but I thought this used the notification LED for that purpose, as I've used other programs for that in the past.

Well, this mod is only for disabling already functionnal led, not for enabling led for device without charging led. I'm afraid I couldn't do anything for you At least not with this mod...
Thanks, I appreciate it.

Working on HTC Desire S. Thanks for the app.
For KK or not and for many other devices,
think the Xposed module GravityBox has this feature
Thanks @Steph310.
I saw this option on GravityBox, but I was not sure this mod is compliant with XPeria ZR. Did you test it ?

It works on my 2 Xperia Mini & SP, why not for ZR?
Anyway it is imperative that you test the excellent GravityBox and all of its features!
Gravity box is awesome. But this mod is slightly different, it disable charging but lights up when full. Gravity disable it entirely when on plug.

Am on HTC One X with ARHD, rooted with lyapota kernel #17. Disablers not working on all items.
This mod doesn't work on HTC One Japanese (HTL22) either (Soku's cooked rom 4.2.2 and 4.3). I was annoyed with the red charging light at night and really hoped that this one was my life/eyes saver.

Hi guys,
Sorry to hear you have problems with this mod.
I updated the first post to add the 1.0.1.dbg version, which is supposed to work on 4.4 roms, and log any problem in the XPosed log.
Please pm me this log, I will investigate.
Thanks for your help.

So sorry. I did try searching first. Search function is broken in some areas of the forum and I have searched the GravityBox official thread but found no one explicitly mentioning that GravityBox works for the Xperia Z. Mine's stock ROM 4.2.2 .67 rooted.
Thanks in advance.
Running on mine. I'm running eXistenZ_Ultra_3.1. Works nice

Running sweet on. 244. Provided you don't touch the lockscreen rotation settings. That really fudges things up.

I have installed it along with every rom I have tried, I wouldn't run anything without it or xposed framework cause I really like to tweak & customize mine, but don't have skill to start hacking up a kernel or creating my own OS. Try it, most the stuff works, obviously a universal app can make everything work on every phone, but it's good.
hi guys i recently rooted my z1 model c6903 with 14.2.A.0.290 and installed the xposed framework which installed successfully even after rebooting my problem is i downloaded a module for kitkat music lock controls the module installed perfectly and i even followed the instructions to get the AOSP lockscreen but the module will not still give me full album art just like its supposed to any ideas whats wrong
Not all modules are compatible with non AOSP roms. That is one of them.

I have my HTC First unblocked, TWRP, and rooted. I did install Xposed Framework but I can't activate it. Has anyone succeed installed Xposed Framework on his First? If yes, please let me know how to make it. I've tried on Sense 5 rom too, but it didn't work either.
Thanks!
Xposed module is working on both stock and the sense 5 rom
Did you install Xposed framework on this phone?
The problem was solved. Thanks again.

Thanks a lot.

How does it compared to the CM11S built equalizer?

I have read rave reviews about Viper4Android, but I find the native CM11s equalizer to work great.
Can anyone having both confirm the difference in quality and battery drain?

Have u tried V4A in the past? If not please try.
U will notice difference when u use V4A with Expert Ui mode setting. Battery drain, i dont worry.
I've tried it on Candy5 ROM as well as daleski's nightlies, but it doesn't seem to work. I look at the driver status and it says it isn't active. Also, every time I open the app, it asks me to install/update the drivers when I clearly did already.

I believe it's because of the SELinux mode..
Set it to Permissive instead of Enforcing using this Application. and let me know if it work's or not

What is the best setting for the oneplus one? At times I feel the speaker/headset and bluetooth volume is too low. Thanks for the help.
There is a nexus 6 thread about a zip you can flash. Might be easier if it works.
Damn, changing to permissive and still won't install drivers. Anything else that needs to be done (I disabled nuplayer already). Thanks.
You need to make sure all other FX audio mods are disabled. Next use Power Amp enable FX in music settings and make sure you disable tone and equalizer. Remember you also need busy box installed. As far as in Viper you are flashing and do not have any other version installed. Lastly some ROMS already have SE Linux set to permissive, and in Viper options try compatible mode.

I'm guessing its bcoz of previous flashed mods. If nothing works, try to switch to compatible mode in V4A setting.
perfect with oneplus one liquidsmooth rom ( cm12)
Thanks all. The Lollipop version posted by Temasek worked just fine. Happy camper.

Just follow 5 simple steps.( no zips required to flash).
1. Change Enforce mode to permissive mode using SeLinuxmodechanger from playstore .
2.Disable experimental "nu player" from development section search "nu" you will get disable it.
3. Disable Audiofx app.
4. Now install viper4Android and install driver ( i user superior audio ) .
5. Reboot.( and experience the amazing sound).

If you are rooted try to install xposed + gravitybox [KK] module. With gravitybox you can customize many features of your phone.
I assumed that I wasn't just me but that doesn't work for me.

Cm11 gave me memory issues
try with another nightly, with the cm20141225 I had some problems with my google account, so I flashed a cm20141101 found in the cm thread and everything is fine, for now... (sorry for the ot)
Well the regular ROM worked decent, except for the memory issue. After I upgrade to a nightly, tried all three, I get major errors with WiFi, SD, and more
