Here is the current version of the UK Generic ROM.
The current verison is: 3.0.1.A.0.145 - Generic UK Firmware
I have compressed the FTF image using Zip7
Rooted IMG
Rooted System Image
Latest Flash Tool Version
Fresh Install Version - This will wipe all user data.
Mirror 1
Mirror 2
Mirror 3
Upgrade Version - This retains all user data
Mirror 1
Mirror 2
Mirror 3
Older Flash Tool Versions
3.0.A.2.184 -Generic UK Firmware
Tools required:
Zip7
Flash Tool

Unfortunately this UK ftf cannot be worked on X10FlashTool on my laptop. Now Global customized and Docomo ftf are working on same environment, but only this ftf cannot be worked.
Can anyone do this?

same here. i cant load this using flashtools..seems error loading loader.sin on my global i version

seems like the firmware file has problem.
Ill have another look at the firmware. Is it the loader.sin thats the problem? Its from a UK sim free handset.
I can upload the files from the blob_fs fold of that helps, if anyone else wants to have a look?
EDIT: I have noticed when the file is decrypted its missing the loader.sin? Idea's anyone?

I'm guessing that you did this completely through FlashTool and it isn't getting the loader.sin.
If you can upload the smallest of the FILE_#########'s, I can get the loader.sin out of it.
EDIT: It appears that the ftf does have a loader.sin, but it's smaller than the ones in the generic and the DoCoMo ones. That could be the issue.

Yes, thats correct. I used flash tool to obtain the file. However, I was having problems with the loader.sin
Ill upload the files now.

any difference with .181 firmware?
playnow is present, iplayer is pre installed. Also the touchnote postcard app has a blue icon instead of orange, not sure of the significance there though.
How many languages are included in this ROM? Is still existing the issue with touchscreen?

it appears all languages are present but I dont have a comprehensive list.
on a side note, and it may be too early to call but it may have solved my liveview issues

edit: i made it so its s self extract version then there is a FTF file for flashtool

Look in the mega collection in the general section.
Not sure there is an Ireland version but I uploaded a 534 Vodafone UK version, shouldn't be to disimilar

i would say you are right but i am a bit parra of loseing warranty after i got stung with knox on my sgs4 .how would i be able to check the diffifrance between them. do the sony have a csc code like the gt-19505. just need to be able to flashback to my original firmware. witch is vodafone ireland just in case anything gose wrong after flashing a new firmware. and thanks again gregbradley man for you advice.

No worries about losing your warrenty. If you are still on your stock firmware then make your own FTF file that you can always flash back to.

made a ftf file for vodafone ireland just need to test it now. and upload it to you. just one thing that was bottering me was the 2 files sim and the other one. i could not see them when i was transfairing them over to create folder.

Despite how old this is, I'm also looking for a C6906 generic 534 FTF. I'm having problems getting 257 to root and want to back even farther and see if that helps. Anyone have this FTF laying around?

Hmm, thanks. That's a C6903 FTF, though. Anyone know what happens if I flash that on a C6906? My guess is at minimum I lose LTE.

I've flashed the rogers 534 ftf a few times and for some reason, the rogers crap didn't install the last couple of times.
I now have a generic z1 so maybe rogers stuff only gets installed to rogers phones somehow.

Because of some unfortunate events, I had to reflash my phone. And because of compatibility problems with Xposed, I need an older firmware (.75 is the latest one that works).
My region is Nordic, and Xperifirm only has the newest (.145) version. I found a german .75 on these boards which I now have flashed, but it has a few problems. It doesn't seem to have VoLTE, and sometimes I stumble upon things that are in german.
Is there a place that keeps older firmware versions for different regions? Or does anyone happen to have the Nordic 47.1.A.12.75 firmware?
