or you can do it on PC Companion if installed on your PC.
Either one, connect you phone, check for updates,
it will update or say you have the latest update, but give you a repair option.
But, if you do use repair, it will wipe data from your phone so back up any contacts, media or app's you want to keep.
You could try a Factory Reset on your phone first, this resets defaults.
Settings >> Back Up & Reset >> Factory Data Reset >> Reset Phone >> Erase Everything
or you can do it on PC Companion if installed on your PC.

Thanks mate! Ok, I'll try to do as u said. And how do you think can I stay on ICS without updating to JB? , it's because I've read threads that JB isn't that good for this phone

Try the Factory Reset first, that wont affect ICS to JB, but back up your stuff.
Ha, you can't have the best of both worlds, either stay on ICS with no camera or update to JB.

I have a Xperia SP C5303 with the final .254 last update.
I've rooted my phone with vroot since it's the easiest and safe way for me to root it.
i didn't flash my phone, didn't unlocked my bootloader either.
i have so many apps and things in my phone, reset is not a option, there's isn't a solution for that problem?
*When the camera is in landscape mode its normal, the gray bar only apears when i'm in portrait mode, i mean, in vertical mode.
thanks
Sorry about the english.

1. reset camera app data
if that fails
2. reset software to factory setting
You used vroot? vroot is not declared as safe yet! my friend used it on his huawei and it started having problems too you might wanna restore your phone and use doomlords root
first try changing the resolution(from 8MP to 5MP etc)
if that doesnt work try using another camera app to see if the problem is still there
don't work

doesn't work changing the resolution...
it doesn't affect other apps, only the native camera app.
i've tried to root trough doomlords root tool, but it asks to unlock my bootloader with i don't want to do it.
i don't have any idea of how to lock the bootloader again if i need the rma from sony.
im hopeless, have to use the camera only in horizontal mode.
PS: Is there a way to root with doomlord kit without unlocking the bootloader? don't wanna change(or mess) my kernel, it may bug my entire system since it's a brazillian firmware.
Thanks guys.
you can just use any other camera app
anyways if you decide to root and unlock your bootloader make sure you backup you TA partition!(the are guides you will need to follow first you will find them in sp's forum)
I'll keep the vroot

Yesterday I updated my Xperia T to Android 4.3 via Sony Companion Software. My phone is not rooted. Everything apperently went fine, but after the Update process I wanted to turn on my Wifi, but it did not work. I tried that from the quicksettings and form the settings directly. The button remain grey for a certain time and the turns back to off.
I turned off my phnone and on again, but a white triangle with a screw came and the phone remained in that status for more than 6 hours. After that it turned on, but the Wifi problem remains. Regarding Bluetooth, that works fine.
What I noticed is that when I check the phone info and the Wifii settings, no MAC Adress is listed there for Wifi. I don't think its a hardware problem, because everything was fine before updating.
What should I do? I am afraid to turn my phone off bcause it could go back to the white triangle remaining for several hours in that state. I dont think a factory reset would help, because there seems to be an update problem and I would like to rather not loose all my settings.
Any help would be very appreciated, because I urgently need wifi in my university.......

The ftf file is the stock Rom, you can find it here on xda. Flashtool also. Flashtool only works if you have windows xp, vista 7 or 8. Not on 8.1. Repairing it using pcc should be easier though

Tnx again. Regarding stoch Rom, I think I am a newbie in that field. I will try to repair via PCC. I have sony bridge for Mac or a Windows PC with Windows 8.1. Which one would you prefer? I updated to Android 4.3 on a Windows 8.1 PC. Do you think that might be a reason, why there is an issue with the update process or something went wrong?
Windows 8.1 works with one of the updates the launched not so long ago

Unfortunately, reparing it with PCC did not help and I am quite desperate. I bought the phone last year as a used one. I am quite a newbie in this field, but could it be, that the rom installed is an altered one and a normal update via PPC leads to this Wifi problem? Normally that should not be the case, but how can I find that out what is causing the problem and what must I do to overcome this drama of mine. I whish I didn't perform that update, because everything wAs working fine before.....

ok what u need to do is root your phone first . they are some threads that show u how to do it i recommed after rooting jus use this rom
httphttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2647459
to root unable debug mode in settings/developer
and unknown sources in settings/security .. first u will have to go back to 4.1.2 to root ur phone and then follow the above instructions
Look at these threads, it can help a lot:

A factory reset would definitely work. You don't know how many times I've seen people (even with different phones) have problems like these because they change their Android version and/or flash different ROMs without wiping their partitions, i.e., doing at least a Factory Reset. If you were rooted you could try deleting the "wpa_supplicant.conf" file in /data/misc/wifi. The problem is, since you're already on 4.3, there is no sure way to root 4.3 unless your bootloader is unlocked. So unless you find out a way to backup your data/settings, you're either going to lose it all when doing a Factory Reset, or downgrading to 4.1.2 (to root), or even flashing a stock 4.3 FTF, because I'm sure your problem is that you haven't wiped.

It's probably hw problem. If you still have warranty take it to the repair center.
What if you flash the last rom where it did work.
Hello everyone, firstly I need to say I am a noob in mobiles. Yesterday I finally decided to try Lollipop 5.1.1 but didnt like it so I was searching for way to downgrade back to Kitkat 4.4.4. I found this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/list-stock-firmwares-d5803-d5833-t2906706 and this german stock firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57513425&postcount=248 and I was following all the steps. After Flashtool finished its job I unplugged and turned the phone ON. The logo appeared and then the blue starting screen appeared which after a few a while froze for a second and after that it was again LOGO which appeared and again blue starting screen and so on - its like neverending circle. So somehow managed to turn the phone OFF via volume UP and power button I guess but I have no clue what to do. Please I have never done this before, the guide says its also for begginers and I was following every single step but something went wrong.... What to do please?
-device is NOT rooted
- bootloader is NOT unlocked (everything is stock)
Should I try to flash another 4.4.4 firmware?
Looks like a bootloop. Try to download another firmware (maybe that u have downloaded is corrupted or something) for your's phone and flash it again.
You can try "23.0.1.A.5.77 - Unbranded - CE1 [Central Europe] (1288-7915)".

No it didnt help . Its the same with this firmware aswell... The phone is charging right now... What to do? Somebody told me I needed to wipe all data before downgrading but its NOT noted in the guide. So how do I do it now? I have no recovery however.
edit: Ok its working now . When youre choosing a FW, you gotta check Wipe on the right side. Thanks for your time though

Last Flashtool versions need to check wipes in that box.
I will add to my tutorial
Yeah you definitely should, that's gonna save some users .
By the way can you help me with something? Considering I just flashed the new firmware. Is there any battery fix guide that can save you some % of the battery?
