[Q] pottery on htc hd2 nand??

Hi there!
I just want to ask, if someone can run "creative Pottery" on his htc hd2... and if yes, please tell me wich "nand" you are using... I really wanna play this game, and dont know why its not working...

What exactly happens? Does it force close or not download??? Have you tried moving the game to the phone or unmount the SD card whilst downloading?

i klick it, and it says "Failure to initialize! Your hardware does not support this application. Sorry"
but i dont belive that the htc hd2 isnt able to load pottery... so i want to know if someone with the hd2 is using pottery, and what kernel and nand he/she is using...

What the heck is creative pottery? What do you make some bowls and ash trays on your phone?

I can't find a game called creative pottery on market. Any chance you could provide a link to it and ill test it

I am using Hyperdroid by Pongster. The app works great, however when coloring the pot it doesn't show up clearly. All color areas are cleared out or transparency. It works nicely on my NOOKCOLOR

cool -> things work fine !!
I can also use other apps now like "guerillaBob"...
Only the "painting bug" in pottery gets on my nervs...
all in together my hd2 works great now!!

Using pongster gbx version 7, works great and no color bug either. I try version 8,9,10, and 11 on pongster rom but then the color bug came back. So I downgraded to v7 because of it and heck yea darn game so addicting.

Did you get it to work? What ROM are you using?

There's no bug on CoreDroid 1.6...Pottery, Can Knockdown2, Air attack HD, GuerillaBob etc works fine!

Netflix app

So the netflix app is only available to certain phones. Not our hd2
How can i make my rom look like a nexus one?

I'll be nice, but you should really learn to look/search better. Netflix does work on HD2.

Im not an idiot guys i found the apk but when i actually try to watch something it says that only certain devices are supported. Maybe you guys should be the one searching?

That's the thread with everyone posting which ROMs it is working on. It is not a device issue... it's a ROM issue if it's not working for you. We don't think you are an idiot Killa, it's just that it takes us longer to search for you and post the link than it does for you to just search yourself.

Works for me on MIUI and before on Hyperdroid CM7.

It does not appear to work on any Sense builds

I have switched the Verizon but I still have my hd2 android running MCCM SE V3.4 (FroyoStone Sense). Netflix is streaming flawlessly.

What ROM are you running? Any info you can give us to maybe help?
Netflix is amazing on my HD2. Streams high quality and buffering is almost not noticeable when I go forward or back. We have to help you get it running.

What I don't understand is why it doesn't work on Desire HD roms, it works for the Evo stock but just wiull not play for DHD. You select a movie and then it will go to the player screen and freeze for a second. Then it goes back to the que screen.
Hopefully that will be fixed because it was working fine with Typhoon CM7

Did you have a look at BoardConfig.mk, there are a bunch of defines that are relevant to the gfx (or lack thereof). Maybe we could track within cm-7.0.3 where those defines are used. In addition I've PM'd arco on this very subject, hoping he replies soon.

Alright, disregard my question, I just updated the ROM. Now GPS and screen work fine, thanks to arco68

3D Gallery is very slow, you might consider replacing with the old one.

gmail servers don`t work

Download any video player ... i downloaded something called soul movie or something. ...
It worked like charm i was able to capture videos

Thanks for the info. Did you install the gapps package? What error did you get exactly?

I'm looking for a better ROM for my mom's Wildfire, being an Oxygen user myself I'm convinced an AOSP ROM is the way forward.. Video recording is no problem, so this looks like the perfect solution.
But I'm a bit confused, what exactly does this mean? What about it doesn't work...?

Sounds awesome. I'm just going to put a list of suggested ROMs together for my mom to choose from... So I may still include this one in that list anyway. Anyway, I'll refrain from hijacking this thread with stuff like this.
I was just curious as to what xanthrax meant in his post. xdbg, you seemed to follow what he said, what issue was it with the Gmail servers..? Unfortunately I don't own a Wildfire, so I can test it myself to see..

hi zal ... there was a week ago when i`ve tried this rom and i recall that trying to setup my gmail account a popup message came with :servers not found or not responding: and of course with my internet connections on ... provided either by mobile network and home network via wireless ... yahoomail working fine though . wright now i`m using joker`s rom and no problems ... maybe it was my mistake but i don`t thing so ... or because of gapps ...

[Prj/App] Miui Camera + more languages

Hello All,
I flashed a Miui Camera zip the other day and decided I liked it, and after some messing around I've decided to add more languages to it. Make it more universal so that more people can benefit from it.
If your interested in helping me, please download the txt file and translate the English text into your own language. When uploading the file back for me, please tell me what language you've done.
This works on None Miui roms!
Languages done:
English
German
French
Partially done:
Chinese-zh-rCN
Chinese-zh-rTW
Working on:
Spanish
Italian
I can't guarantee when I'm done with this will apk that it'll work on all the roms here for our HD2's, or on other phones. Mainly for one BIG reason, I'm not the Dev for this app, merely a... Mod-er.
After I'm done adding a new language, I'll upload the new apk in a flash-able zip here. Then you guys can tell me if spelling, grammer is right.

Why don't you just use the files from a miui rom?

I'm using some of them, but not in the way your suggesting. The MiuiCamera for a Miui rom is built different, the Miui Camera apk I'm working with, can work on a none Miui roms. Thanks for trying to help though.

What version of the MIUI CAM is this? I'm using v17 and its awesome.

v17 is pretty nice, but color effect keeps force closing on me. Which is why i choose to work with this one.

Strange the version 17 I have has all working color effects, anti shake, and you CAN enable the 720p option(haven't decoded it to see how it actually records).
I should mention I use this on typhoons cm7, but it works for any CM7 rom.

good to know. however my efforts are wasted. just found another thread here about the same thing, and is further along than I am.

I think it could be possible if we get the source, and compile it with smartguy's kernal, we could get a build up and running, or maybe a version of CM6, just saying, I'm a fan of it and honeycomb eventhough it's slow.

I like the looks of CM6 and honeycomb, well I've never used it, I just wanna test it for once, but the real deal, not some crap launcher from the Play Store.

There was no separate honeycomb source. It was merged into ICS source with comments. Honeycomb was tablet only ui. ICS combined tablet and phone ui. If you want
to try native tablet ui (not just launcher) try pacman rom. It has tablet ui for gapps.
Cm 6 was based on froyo and has less features than gingerbread. Ginger bread improved android a lot and made it modern and compititive mobile os. It improved memory management and newer apis. That is why many applications are 2.3 + Please Google if you want more details.
Windows phone is closed source os and legally requires license run on phone. That is why you will not see ports here on xda on non windows phone. On the other hand android being open source can you run on windows phone e.g. HTC HD 2.
Assuming you have been here for while and seeing your posts on porting and building from source I can only hope that op wasn't for trolling.

If you like the look of Froyo, you could install the cm7 port i saw somewhere around here, and install this theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1014773 apparently it makes cm7 look just like Froyo.

Theres no point of actually running froyo on honeycomb, just use a theme

Froyo just seems worthless sorry but it just does. Honeycomb actually could be possible. Honeycomb did have a phone ui. But who would actually go through all the effort?

How exactly do you plan to port it????? There's no source, it was merged to ICS, there is no "honeycomb branch" you could try and port, but our phone has a 480x800 screen, no honeycomb device had this low of a resolution
