Same as me. That's why I have to use volume key to wake always. I think it's just a hardware problem.

If you are using 4.4.x roms that problem is well known. If you are using stock rom try first factory reset.

U can't. So be gentle to that button. At least, use some screen lock widget.
EDIT: turning off u can use some shutdown widget.

Why i can't use my warranty ? They should take care of any issues since they are not my fault.

You cannot turn on and off your phone.
That was your questuon, and the reply was obvously to that question, not to the statement about warranty.

Long press power button

I don't know if it's a problem or not but even if my screen off, when I long press on the power boutton (perhaps 6 or 8 seconds) my phone reboot. So sometimes, in my pocket, it reboots. It is normal? If yes, any way to change this feature? I'm rooted and I've rXtrem rom V3.0 on Stock Kernel.

read the title. It's the power button he's talking about, not the home button.
It doesn't depend on the ROM, it'll be like that even if you have no ROM installed.
I've changed for Pandoriam ROM and it's the same "problem". I've not see you was talking about the home button, it's the power button i'm talking about. Son anyone can make somethnig with a little flash for exemple?......

Wake up your OB by any hardware button

Hello everyone. Not sure if somebody using this to wake up your OB but it's great for me as I don't like to press a power every time.
You do not need a root for it.
I've just updated my new LG Optimus Black to official ICS 4.0.4 (30b-EUR-XX) Great tutorial here http://getin.in/index.php?option=co...l-android-4-0-ics-rom-update&catid=86:gadgets
Go to settings->Lock screen->None, and now you can use any hardware button to turn screen on.
I've got widgetsoid app from market (my favorite one for power toggle widget) and widget "lockscreen" on my homescreen to turn screen off.
Couldn't find any better way to save my power button and wake it up
This is great for me. Because my powerbutton is getting a little bit broken because of pressing it to Much.

I'm on stock rom and I have not rooted my 4x. Lately I have resetted my phone to manufacturer settings but there is NO change. Plz help me.

Well I know on CM there is... And I dont think that would make a big difference in the time the screen would take to turn on. Installing CM our phone is sort of a complex process though, since you also have to install a bootloader, custom recovery...

hi! i can't select Relock workaround option 2...i'm on apex launcher pro.
Yeah ! This thing is pretty Cool !
Aaye! I am also using the same thing! It feels very cool
However, I have assigned the Screen Off app to Swipe Down gesture of the Nova launcher.
Yes, its sad that we have no way to Switch On with any gesture as it needs hardware interaction. But, still, I have tried some solutions, which included Proximity Sensor of the Phone, and they were just amazing
i use slimbean
and with volume wake and this lock trick, i don't touch my lock button at all ^^
only when i need to shut down my phone

double tap to wake and this trick, well, i can just forgot the lock button
i only hope that that will not lead to big battery consumption :fingers-crossed:
Touchscreen has to stay awake. So yes it will drain some small amount more. But you can always disable it if you dont like/need it.

[Q] Navigation buttons on custom ROM - Problem!

On stock v20a, the navigation buttons didn't turn on unless I was using them. Now, after I installed the Slimbean ROM, they turn on everytime I touch the screen. Is there any way to solve this?

nope, unfortunately. you can disable them completely, or turn them on whenever screen is on, but there's no jb mode, i.e. for them to light up only when you touch them.
Ok, thanks. Can you tell me how to disable them completely?
