I use an application called Ultimate Dynamic Navbar. It uses an Xposed module to hide the old navbar, and replaces it with a highly customizable one.
I paid for pro, but the lite version is still pretty good.

Hi guys, I was wanting to add more rows and columns on the home screens and the app drawer on the stock launcher. I know that I can use Nova Launcher to do it but I like the stock launcher more. Is there a way to do this or do I have to use a home replacement launcher? I'm already rooted if that helps.
Thanks in advanced.
I think Gravity Box might work. If not, GEL with Xposed GEL settings is by far my favorite launcher right now.
Thanks for the suggestion. I totally forgot about GEL. Unfortunately I still like the Moto X's launcher a little better but GEL will suffice for now. Thanks heaps

Want to change my app icons to look like stock Kit Kat to go along with the Google Now Launcher but the app that I used on my Note 2 isn't working anymore. Icon Changer just keeps telling me to install xposed even though I already have. Are there any apps that do the same thing?

Is their a xposed app or flashable zip to where I can make the first picture of my lg g2 I think it's 6by6 if so could you please share and or is their a way to get a zip \xposed app to just get 6or7 icons on bottom also on the touchwiz and is their a n4 tool box not to do then you so much if I could get help or even a reply
Gravity box may work or wanam
6 icons just doesn't look clean on the homepage, that might just be me but it looks cluttered with more than 4 icons + app drawer.

Could you show me which one one I click in wanma shot.,.. Also in gravity screen shot please
Did you find anything? I'm coming from the G3 as well. Used G3 Tweaks. Would like to add an extra row and column (5x5) to my home screens without having to switch launchers. Wanam doesn't have the option and I believe Gravity box is for AOSP only.
Launchers like ADW and others allow you to specify the number of columns and rows to display. I use ADW, but maybe Nova or Apex do this.

No. Everything works normally. Think of launchers as highly-customizable window dressing. They don't affect application functioning and they are not custom ROMs.

One thing I noticed about using a different launcher like ADW EX. status bar transperency disappears. I want pretty much everything going transparent. Any work around for you guys that you have found? I'll go as far into the rabbit hole as I can with this.love transparent ui.

Also if you are like me and use action memo a lot, you won't be able to pin them to a home screen as a widget. That feature only works with TouchWiz.

You can get the status bar transparent with an xposed module or Nova has this ability built in. I don't remember if you need prime with Nova or not tho.

So, a little while ago I deleted the systemui.apk. and started using apps such as pie pro and tiny apps for basic usage of the phone. I don't know why, but I hate the status bar and constantly on screen navbar, deleting systemui.apk gets rid of both in lollipop, while still preserving the use of the keyboard. This could be done on 4.4 using xposed framework, but as we all probably know. It's not functioning for lollipop yet, or at least three hasn't been a replacement.
My question is, is there a better way to achieve no status bar, no navbar, and fully functioning keyboard. Without getting rid of systemui and everything else it does?
So far everything I've noticed missing, that can't be fixed by tasker, pie pro, moto display, or tiny apps: no screen shots, no recent app draw, notifications don't make sound, and reddit is fun won't open for whatever reason.

Smart Launcher 2 gives the ability to hide the status bar. Does that suffice?
I was looking for a more system wide removal. Would I be able to use apktool, or would I need to use apktool to get rid of it?

I just started using Smart Launcher 2, I've become a huge fan of it. Using it on both my N5 and Moto X. Been using Nova for ages, so the change is nice, and I love how simple it is.

I know on KitKat you can edit the build.prop to get rid of the navbar but I'm not sure if you can still on Lollipop. I'm not a fan of Lollipop so both my Android phones are staying on KitKat. On KitKat, you can either edit or add the line " qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" to get rid of the navbar ( qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 would add it for phones with hardware buttons) but again I'm not sure if that works on Lollipop. Also, this is just for the navbar and has no effect on the status bar. If you are going to try it, make sure to do a nandroid and also make a backup of your unedited build.prop. Proceed with caution, I'm not responsible if anything bad happens.

Is it possible to enable the navbar on the new tmobile lollipop update?
Guess thats a no?
I don't think it has native support for nav bar but try using Ultimate Dynamic Navbar. There is a free version but it works well for me.
Yes..gravity module now working
