Hi all, just got my phone back from HTC and reinstalled ARHD straight away.
Does anyone know if there's a way of getting STOCK GE lockscreen instead of the sense one .... Could someone point me in the right direction, I tried renaming the HTC LOCKSCREEN app in privapps but that didnt seem to work as it just gives me a normal ockscreen but with no option to add widgets ??? Any ideas anyone.
I'm not sure about arhd but viper rom had that feature built in.

I have extracted the following apps from HTC Sense 3.5 ROM but cannot install it on Virtuous Unity 2.35 Sense 3.0 . It force closes . Can anyone please port this *.apks to work with Sense 3.0 Roms. Thank You.I am a noob at development.

can anyone also port the htc notes app please
i pushed the libs that contained the word note to system lib and restarted my phone then installed htcnoteprovider.apk that installed without a problem but i just cant install htcnotes.apk its keeps on telling application not installed even when i push the apk file to the system/app and the reboot and install again, i have tried my best at this.
Anyone else got any ideas for me
It keeps force closing on my dhd running on the latest Virtuous ROM. Am I doing something wrong?

did you try to log out from facebook and facebook for thc sense ?
then - update the apk file via file explorer - reboot the device
clear data from facebook and facebook for htc sense, the log in back.
Have you simply tried flashing the RCMix Bliss which is a sense 3.5 ROM with all the apks you mentioned.......just a thought.

flashed it didnt like it that much so i came back to Mikes rom.
I'm on Virtuous Unity 2.35, I installed HTC Quick Launch Widget and HTC Facebook Chat and they both force close when I try to use them. Any ideas on what's going on? I'm far from a developer so I haven't a clue how to figure out the problem....

This doesn't work on ARHD 6.x.x that has Sense 3 so I guess that some developer type of dude (not me ) has to look inside these apk files to get it to work with Sense 3

did u change the permissions after copying it over to a sense 3.0 ROM?

Hey, the Sense 3.5 Firmware is quite different than the Sense 3.0, so this will explain the FC's

Without Root? No, i don't see any chance
Guys its all to do with framework me and a few others are working on adding necessary parts into framework jars to run them on 3.0

Is there any downloadable sense 2.1 Rom there? Because I want use the stock Android music player with his widget and control on the lockscreen. Widgetlocker is too laggy for me.

There is a sticky thread in the Development section with all of the different ROMs that are available. You should be able to find the Sense 2.1 stock, rooted version there. It was based on 2.30.405.1 WWE version.
I found enough but they all uploaded by our dead Megaupload/Multiupload :/

Really, i love it. Bit i cant use the widget in another launcher. In Sense 2.1 the stock music works for every launcher and the lock.
I hate Sense Stock launcher, I feels for me uncomfortable.

I did not know that. Would flashing a system partition from an ruu work? Or even ripping the music app out of one?

mike1986 says it is sense 2.1 with 3.0 interface. Think he means the settings/UI, meaning the apks should probably still be 2.1? Can't confirm that.
I've attached the stock music apks from the Bell release, .28 RUU if you want to experiment with replacing the music APK's in /system/app on a Sense 3+ rom. I have deodexed them so they should work with any rooted deodexed stock roms, if you need the odexed versions let me know.

To the another upload of a stock rooted rom: There are Facebook Glitches.
And in Trinity's Rom adding the APK's dont worked for me..
I'm looking to see if anyone has extracted the Wi-Fi Calling APK from the T-Mobile version of the HTC One so I can test it on my 64gb Dev. HTC One. Or if anyone knows if another version works for it, please let me know. I have terrible reception in my office and rely on Wi-Fi for a good connection for calls.
Hopefully it works without too much tinkering :silly:
To my knowledge the wifi calling is built into the rom. It's not an app. It's a setting you toggle on. I had the tmobile stock rom and that's how it worked. Though someone in arhd had a test flash to add the setting.

Wi-Fi calling is more than just an app, and from what I've seen so far nobody has a stand-alone flashable zip. You just have to use a ROM that has it included. Insertcoin and a couple other 4.3 ROMs have it, and I'm hoping viper gets it soon.

No luck still, looks like no one has it as standalone so far and I would like to keep my stock Sense 5. Custom ROMs has its own issues when it comes to updates and camera etc...Let me know if you find a solution pls!

You could flash the T-Mobile stock Rom. I have the developer edition and I did that, until the developer s added it to their Roms. You'll still run into the update issue. Plus I flashed the T-Mobile radio and got way better signal.

I gave this a try, stuck in the /system/app directory, fixed permissions on it, then rebooted.
It doesn't work at all. Wont even install, even after reboot

You can use any Sense ROM. Just delete HTCLockScreen.apk before you flash the ROM, or delete it using RootExplorer or similar (this will leave you with the AOSP lockscreen). Once done you can run a command to force the Google setup which will then give you the widgets and camera shortcut ...
