[ROM] Droideka

Hi, this is my first rom (Honestly, i don't know why i called it droideka), it's based on stock czech v10a firm (unbranded one). Uninstalled some apps, a little optimizations, well, let's go to the features:
v2:
Removed apps: Layar (Now is gone for good, i forgot this one on v1), AppAdvisor, Carhome and LGHome (They can be found in this zip)
Added Apps: Quick Settings (I love this app), and LauncherPro (Removed any other added apps since v1)
v1:
Enabled hardware acceleration
Dalvik heapsize set to 32m
DarkTremor Apps2SD
JIT enabled
Deleted apps: AppAdvisor, CarHome, Layar
Updated apps: Google Maps, Gmail, Google Search, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Market
Custom boot animation: Scribble (Took it from the Prime ROM, credits to Noejn)
Everything is deodexed
APKs zipaligned
Root + Superuser
APN list from cyanogenMOD
Ringtones from Android 2.2 and 2.3, took them from this thread (thanks), Marimba and tritone (Thanks again Noejn)
Added apps: MarketEnabler, Appbrain, Quick Settings, Dropbox, Google Reader, Google Goggles, zxing barcode scanner, lastfm, ndrive, xbmc remote, doubletwist, launcherpro
Um, scored 1069 on quadrant.
To install it you need:
Root (Try z4root method, it's pretty easy)
Drellisdee's custom recovery (check this thread)
Droideka ROM (Download)
Now for the install instructions:
Open custom recovery (Home+ Vol down + Power combination)
Partition your sd card, you need 0 for swap and 512M or more for ext
Wipe your data, cache, dalvik-cache, ext
Flash Droideka v1 from flash zip from sdcard

Well, the rom is not so different from the stock one, the main difference is launcher pro (and the custom battery icons are from circle.glx.nl, i couldn't include them in the build because it gave me a infinit boot loop, but if you like them, just go to the site, select "SCB with %, Version [A-M]", then the D version, then just next, next, next, and upload the framework-res.apk found in the rom's zip /system/framework/framework-res.apk, the site will give you a zip that you can flash trough the custom recovery "flash zip from sdcard"). Anyway, there you go, launcherpro, some widgets and the default wallpaper:

nope, couldn't find it on the csmg i was hoping to ask some friend to do a nadroid backup if he buys the claro one

Why not use titanium backup if you just want to remove the preinstalled apps?

MIUI themed version rom(CM7 based)

Here is the MIUICM versionx rom........based 2.3.5
Its similiar to MIUIGEN by dr.notor.......but i build it frm famous Mik's ROM 6.5.7 stable and Kernel from great franco'z and Fserve fix 19.3v.have addded al recent apps version and theme it to close upto MIUI setup and here are tweaks
Franco kernel with fserve patches....2.6.32.45v

Zram enabled
Loopysmoothness script set
few modules added
ungaze script runner
locked memory for launcher so its cached and no lag in using launcher with script,also call,msg and so on....
battery backup really good...
Since i have already made changes in framework for transperancy on Lense lock and taskbar...need not install a separate patch like Dr.notor....
credit goes to MIK for stable rom 6.5.7,Franco and fserve for kernel and tweaks,Drnotor for MIUI theme idea
Here are steps to achive transperancy...
1)once rom booted...launcher menu--themes select either waterworld or iphne style theme for icons...
2)once done ...go to theme chooser and select zdune's new System UI transperant theme and apply it
3)on Home screen select live wallpaper ---multipicturewallpaper---settings--common settings--picture source===folders path or picture path---MIUI folder---wallpapers...set ok each time and set wallpaper...
4)CM setting ---lockscreen----style options---lense and back
I thank mobilefreak to check those bugs and let me know before posting here

in short is this for the lazy people who want the miui themed rom in one go?

well we had enough of themeing rom miui ,sorry to discourage you but we already have the miui theme version but just few patches and tweaks doesnt not make it diffrent from others.
really appreciate your effort though

Hehe...believe none are more lazy as i do sometimes...But yes...this rom is MIUI themed completely with tweaks...so on go one shot....with above settings i mentioned...

XDA really needs a third tier, somewhere between General and Development... how about "File Pushing" or "Drag and Drop Development"? I'm glad you built yourself a rom but frankly this thread shouldn't exist.
Back on topic, would you please clean up the first post and at least be a bit more descriptive, like what extra modules you've included? What Launcher did you include? What apps have been added or removed? Look at other threads and make an effort or don't bother.

Well, this is good. I currently use the drnotor's one with good results, I was just a bit bothered because the kernels of fserve and 19.4 etc of franco were not available to me to play with. So now this is actually a good idea, will flash, try to get the best battery with the kernels and will report.

Good you like the lockscreen...for it changes were in framework buddy with some XML and png ....
I also do have another lockscreen of honeycomb mod....the white small lock ring....on different rom i use myself custommade.....

Simply put, get script manager ads from Google play.
Add this script onto your SD card.
Browse as root in app, locate the script press the skull and cross bones.. IE superuser mode and run the script...
Damn its bloody quick!
I've added the script to bottom of this post in attachments section for easier access, all u have to do is click the link. right click on page once its opened and save as. don't change the name or anything, then copy the txt file to your SD card.
once you run this, follow the guide it gives...its brilliant and will override all v6 scripts installed on any rom!
But i will not install this as stock, reason being, u can redo this script at anytime and change it further at your own desecration. so please don't ask for me to do it!​
Here something to speed things up instead of Setcpu....
it was made for me awhile ago........its called perflock.
Idea is it sets the phones CPU speed to set values...so you don't have to.
Its proven to work on my phone...been using it for ages now....
But.....it is made for the UK handset.....as my max is 800, i know some euro based models have 1000 as max....so please...before you try flashing this...back it up....I hold no responsibility for anything going wrong, you have been warned!
A simple way to see if this is working grab a CPU monitor widget....just to leave on your home screen to watch it.
You will see your phone respond faster...battery life will be better as well.
Flash this zip in recovery.....DO NOT WIPE ANYTHING! just flash and reboot

I've have found on other phones that different area ruu allow wifi and others don't. This is a UK based one. It may work in uk, may not but I will attend to as soon as I can like I always do. I ask for tests and feedback to find errors, all I ask iis try it.......find errors etc, posy em up.....then rrestore your own till I rectify it again.

anyway, i wonder if the on off buttons will have reboot/recovery option. and the screenshot thing. or maybe torch flashlight. does it smthing to do with script or just a usual apk that is put in system/app ?

No lol,even if u tried this rom will wipe your data anyway.....well its should. But as with all Roms.....always triple wipe!

i have advised you not too....unknown problems happen when u don't wipe everything prior to flashing a new rom..

yes you can if you want to harm your baby. no, its wise. flash in cwm. do wipe data. wipe cache. and in advance, wipe dalvik cache.
then flash this rom.

beats is for music quality..u will hear a differnece overall but u need proper beats headphones for the best quality.
ok music will be attended too
i may add dolphin browser into it...seems its adaptable for most people and i use it quite often anyway

Requirements:
Read the FAQ in post #2 to check for solutions to known issues.
AOSP ROMs require Jellybean 4.2.x for full Gapps package.
Touchwiz ROMs require Jellybean 4.1/4.2 for the Aroma installer.
Note that while other versions may indeed work with modifications, only those with 4.2.x on AOSP and 4.1/4.2 on TouchWiz will receive support here.
Some of these zips only support AOSP-based ROMs, such as Cyanogenmod, AOKP, and so on.
Touchwiz ROMs should use the Touchwiz Aroma installer, not the main Aroma installer.
Sense is not currently supported.
You must have a rooted device.
CWM, TWRP, 4EXT, or other custom recovery installed.
Note that not all recoveries are supported, but the zips should be fairly universal.
A minimum of 225MB of free system space for the FullFlash, and 115MB for the QuickFlash.
Touchwiz Aroma requires 125MB of free system space.
NOTE that if you aren't sure of your free system space, you can simply open up Titanium Backup, and it will tell you at the bottom of the home screen.
DeOdexed ROMs ONLY are supported for AOSP ROMs.
Touchwiz Aroma supports Odexed and Deodexed ROMs.
Note that most all stock ROMs are odexed. If you aren’t sure about a custom ROM, ask your chef.
A full wipe is required before installing these zips. If you don't, then do not ask for support. Make a full backup before flashing in case something goes wrong.
Explanation:
Aroma zip is the mack daddy of all zips. It contains everything, but it is packaged into an interface that allows you to pick and choose which apps or gapps you want to install, all from your recovery.
Inverts - Use the Inverted Aroma zips to get a taste of all the latest creations of Team Blackout's black apps!
Glass - Use the Glass Aroma zip to see through all your apps with clear backgrounds and menus!
Touchwiz - This Aroma installer is specifically customized to offer support for people using Touchwiz ROMs with a variety of inverted apps. If you're using a Touchwiz ROM, flash this!
GunTheme - Guntermic's spin on inverted apps with a bit of light theming is packaged up for you!
Quick Flash zip is a simple zip that installs all the inverted apps by Team Blackout into their proper places. This should be flashed after your normal Gapps package for JB 4.2+. Stock apps other than Email are not included in this zip.
Inverts - Use the Inverted QuickFlash zips to get a taste of all the latest creations of Team Blackout's black apps!
Glass - Use the Glass QuickFlash zip to see through all your apps with clear backgrounds and menus!
Instructions:
Download the zip you want based on what you want installed.
Boot into recovery.
Make a backup before doing anything in case something goes wrong.
Full wipe your device.
Flash ROM.zip
Flash inverted.zip (gapps first if using quickflash on AOSP)
Reboot.
Do not restore data from non-inverted apps.

FAQ reserved post
1. Why didn't MMS/People app invert? Why does People app force close? Why did my dialer disappear?​Not all ROMs are compatible with the MMS and People apps. If you experience any of those issues, please DO NOT use the Full Flash zip. To fix it, just push the contacts.apk file from your ROM.zip to /system/app, then set permissions to -rw-r--r-- and reboot.​
2. Why does Google Keep have a white background for new notes?​If you have a white Quick Note background, just touch into the field, and type a letter. The color pallet will appear on the top right corner of the field. Simply touch it, and select black or whichever color you want to be default. The white will then be gone. Here's a screenshot, if you're confused.​
3. Does the inverted Play Store here support multi-DPI?​In the Aroma installer, you have the option to install the Inverted Multi-DPI Play Store separately from the regular inverted Play Store. The Multi-DPI one is deselected by default. If you happen to select both of them, the multi-DPI one will overwrite the regular one. The FullFlash and QuickFlash zips do not have the multi-DPI store at this time.​
4. Dolphin Browser looks weird, or doesn't show up in my app drawer.​Unistall the stock version before installing the inverted one. You must uninstall all add-ons and short cuts for the app before installing as well.​
5. Tango doesn't install properly on my Touchwiz ROM or gives me a message "ERROR 62" before it force closes.​Open up your file explorer, and navigate to /data/app. Tap on Tango.apk to install it directly. This should fix things for you.​
6. GunTheme TouchWiz Calendar doesn't seem to work for me.​According to Gunthermic, the TouchWiz Calendar is not compatible with the Note 2, but works perfectly on the S3.​
7. The Mighty Text app is all squished together, or looks strange.​This is an app designed for tablets only. If you don't have a tablet, please skip this one. It is de-selected in Aroma be default for this reason.​
8. Slacker is transparent instead of blacked out.​To make it inverted, there is a night mode checkbox in the settings menu. Check it and enjoy.​
9. Email doesn't show up in my app drawer.​If it doesn't show up, try renaming it to Email2.apk and reboot. If that still doesn't fix it, don't use it. It isn't compatible with every ROM.​
10. YouTube Downloader is not shown in my app drawer/YouTube icon is still red.​If you don't see OG YouTube Downloader in your app drawer, and the YouTube app icon is red instead of blue, it is not compatible and will not work. You don't need to do anything in this case. It works fine on most ROMs, and remains inactive on others. Delete it if you want, but it should not cause trouble if you leave it alone.​
11. Why isn't Google Calendar showing up in my app drawer?​The Google Calendar from the Play Store and is a signed application. Uninstall the Market version, and either delete or rename the system/app Calendar.apk to Calendar.apk.bak (or just delete it). Reboot and enjoy.​
12. I need immediate help! None of these things solved my problem!​You can usually find me on #midnightgapps on IRC. If you aren't familiar with IRC, just click here, enter the chat, then leave me a message. Very cool!... I've kind of done the same thing for my own personal use... But I used most of b-boys transparent apps!... Man I love those things... I used Team Baked inverted gapps package and added b-boys apps... It works pretty darn well... Although I could never get Talk to stick... I'll give this a go next flash and maybe toss the transparents in there...

Talk is specific to the JB version. The one included here is the 4.2 version. It won't work on 4.1 or lower. Most other apps are not specific like that.
I can package up the transparent ones as well if there's demand for them. Personally, I use the inverted ones to save battery on my Note 2.

I'm using it on Sons of Android 4.2.2... I'll just switch out the transparents for the ones I use until more interest comes up, if it does... Lol... I think there OK on battery, never had to charge it during the day... Ever!..

It depends how much you use them. I save an average of 12% battery by using a blank theme and black apps. This is extremely variable from person to person, and only includes those with LED displays. LCD displays use the same amount of juice no matter what's on the screen.

No it isn't, but you can use the attached version I modded. All b-boy's work except for the easy mods that I made to the widget images.

Quick question on the update zip. So this contains all of the invert info without the gapps themselves? So it would make sense that using this with the most recent gapps will invert the most recent gapps, if by chance the full version is not up to date? Am I understanding that correctly?

Quickflash zips contain only the inverted apps. A stand alone Gapps package for Jellybean is still required. The other one has the 4.2 December Gapps package built in.

I guess it would... But for me... I plug my cell in every night before bed and unless I've been flashing/restoring/backing up all day, I'm usually still at 30% battery... So no worries... 8)

[TWRP] [CM13.0 CM14.1] [Automation Script] remove unwanted default apps

Simple TWRP recovery script that uninstall the following default CM apps (nothing wrong with this apps just personal pref):
1) AudioFX (makes my speaker's volume really low)
2) CMFileManager ( i prefer root explorer)
3) DownloadProviderUi (app that just show download folder)
4) Eleven (default music app)
5) Gello (default browser)
6) Stk (SIM info app)
All apps are safe to remove.
Just install .zip via TWRP recovery and reboot.
Every time i installed a new cm build, i had to manually removed this apps, so i made a automation script.
Hope its useful to somebody else!
I'm trying to make this script interactive, asking the user for confirmation at every app before deleting, but i cant find the documentation to do this. Can someone give me a hint?

Sure, working on it. I think i can make it interactive too (select which apps to remove/replace). It's there a problem if i use openGapps builds binaries to make this?

Hi, Ive been using this since release. THANKS!
With unofficial Lineage OS builds rolling out, can we expect a version for it?
Id love a version that removes the default launcher as well.
Ive never did any coding myself, but Id like to know how to maintenance a script like that. Is there a decent tutorial normal folks can understand?

thx but not work on A10 roms because they don't have busybox in sbin/
