Hey guys,
I'm very sorry if i posted this in the wrong area and please tell me if i need to post this in another area..
Here's the problem:
I just updated my ace to cyanogenmod 10.2 (Android 4.3), and the google play store is gone. normally that would be fine and i would just download an apk for that on the internet. The problem is that my sd card isn't recognized anymore. Any way to make it recognized again?
Thanks in advance,
P.S.
I backed up everything but my backup program is gone too, anyway to fix that
Edit:
I'm thinking if no one has a solution of downgrading back to the original samsung galaxy ace 2.3.5, if you don't know the solution do you have the 2.3.5 link for me?

Can you give me "Mardon's" ROM, so I can try it with his ROM?
How to format it in a "FAT32" format system? and how to re-mount my sdcard partion?
Thanks a lot for you spending time on my problem!

Connect your phone in usb mode and delete those files using computer. Or if you dont want anything in sdcard you can simply format...
still no progress.

yes i can creat a new file but gets deleted after a restart.
i think it has something to do with an error on the zero sector of the flash memory... but i really don't know how to fix it... i know there is a way to format the memory in those cases in linux.. but i couldn't really say how...
i hope you can figure it out...

My google play was not working on My galaxy ace plus GT 7500. I tried many things like clearing the data, cache etc. and installed many google play version. but still it showed the errors.
So, I decided to install new gapps package and choose the wrong one. I went into recovery mode and installed it but after that my phone didnt started up properly showing "process.com.android.setupwizard".
I tried everything Flashing the ROM using Odin and root.tar file and then restored the backup but still getting the system error.
Please help.

I think that with the gapps package you have deleted something of needed for do work the system properly, you must be careful when use this flashable packages, however you should see in the flashable package all that one that has been deleted and then try to re-install all.

Thank you so much guys for writing.
I fixed it partially. I had the backup and restored.
now my ace plus started.
Still the gapps not working properly. See i dont have much knowledge of the android systems but now with the previous experience i learned its a whole new world. Now i am surely gonna learn all this.
But for now what are the possible way to run my gapps on ace plus especially google play.
1.)Do i need to install the right gapps package? please give me the link if possible and guide me for installation
2.)Do i need to install some custom ROM like cyanogenmod 7.2 or other? please give me the link if possible and guide me for installation.
3.)Do i need to install ICS? if yes then how.
4.)Is there any other effective way?
5.)Is there any way to install stock firmware containing gapps? if ys then hw to install?
please help.
Its frustating to have an android but using it as some normal phone.

Yes I have rooted my phone.
Then for install the google apps just that you unzip the gapps package for get all google apps in the package and then you can install normally or put in the system manually that is more sure than flash from recovery.

i did the same thing
I was flashing to the most recent version of cm9, grabbed the gaaps for JB, cm9 = not JB. all i did was go in, wipe data/ factory reset, then clear cache partition, wipe dalvik thru cwm, reloaded cm9 (the rom)(from install updates from sd card) and reloaded the correct ics gaaps. just reflashed then cleared all that crap again and it seems to work. i can get my g apps again
Hi everyone, I did download the kitkat 4.4.2 for sensation XL from this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2602094
then my phone storage & my phone memory doesn't work, Bluetooth doesn't work, I didn't backup from my device :crying: someone help me what can I do?
if you want KitKat use onejay09's KitKat- It is stable but it has little problems
if you want a rom more stable than your original rom and faster with great battery life use onejay09's STABLE CyanogenMod 10.1 IT HAS NO BUGS
And install it with a full wipe

Maybe you should use your recovery
You may boot into your recovery. Then goto the mount and mount USB devices.

I recommend you to read xposed framework thread carefully. After rooting the phone with that chinese thing, you can install/replace it for a real superuser app from playstore & remove the chinese one. Good luck
P.S: BTW, you posted in the wrong place.

If you mean xposed installer then don't worry, you will not stuck on boot it works very well on s3 mini without any problems
Just make a nandroid backup and test it then. I haven't encountered serious problems with the framework. Xposed also creates a xposed-disabler.zip that you can flash from recovery if you get a boot loop, if that doesn't work, just restore the nandroid backup
Guys thnx for the answers so i installed cwm and flashed the custom recovery and i want to do a nandroid backup but could someone tell me an estimate of how much space does it require? I have about 6gb empty in the external sd card used about 4gb from internal so is it enough?

Sure but I am not really sure how I did it to manage. Just redone the unbrick process. I think about it the last 2 days I run in so much problems that I had to fix...
I had the same problem . I wiped my data partition and changed it to ext4 in twrp and fixed that way
Because I have a similar problem to topic starter, I would like to know if I really need to wipe my data partition and change it to ext4.
My problem is about to reserved storage. I have reserved 39,25gb reserved space of 53,63gb. Actually I have: 9,49gb for apps, 2,41gb for photos, 11,55mb for videos, other 8,12gb and nothing else.
As the second phone I am using a Nexus 6 with the almost similar files and the reserved space is 27,36gb.
I am not sure but I think that this happened after unsuccessful restored to freedomOS (ver 1.0) from nandroid backup.
Is it something I need to do?
