Smoothest and Fastest Rom - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What is the fastest rom for the nexus one?
I'm currently running kit kat and its pretty fast but i was wondering what the smoothest rom is.

I tested a few roms but i think evervolv is the smoothest and most stable.

CM7.2

Try VJ slim ROM.

Best ROM for stability and daily use

Hi,
I have tried many different ROMs, based on GB, Cyanogen and ICS on my Galaxy S I9000. Not sure which one is the best for daily use and stability. Can some of you share your insights on this?
[ROM GNEXUS PORT] jro03c 4.1.1 beta 4 [oficial jelly bean stock rom]
Since GB is outdated now,And JB is still in dev stage no major bugs ,but there are many minor bugs,So go for a ICS ROM,I would recommend a ROM like CM9/AOKP...
CM9 latest nightlies :good: And additional the Devil kernel or Semaphore.
try TIRAMISLIM by dj sound..u will love it

AOKP Milestone 6
AOKP Milestone 6 - I had this one. Smooth, battery life good and no FC :good:
You state you have tried many roms, then ask which one is best?! Could you not make up your own mind rather than creating YET ANOTHER "which is the best Rom?"thread?

Try TWICS REMICS 1.3.1.
Since the S1 galaxy is built for GB, the most stable rom Saurom.
Plans to update and going beautifully and smoothly without any problems.

Best ROM ICS/JB on Galaxy Ace

What is relatively stable, best ROM for this phone. I know that they are not finished but what is best in this moment. Thanks
There is NO BEST ROM.
The ROM that is best for you depends on your needs. If you want battery life and stability go for CM7. If you want more recent versions of android use CM9+. If you want customisability but care less about stability go for AOKP. If you want the stock Android experience use AOSP.
Wayland_ACE has made some excellent builds, so has Jellaxy. These are for stable (ish) Ice Cream Sandwich/Jelly Bean.
There are also many themed ROMs based on Gingerbread.
Maclaw and Marcin are currently working on an ICS AOSP. It looks promising and can be found at http://maclaw.pl
Personally I would recommend CM9.1 RC4.1 by Wayland_ACE found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1868121
If you are a more experimental user and you want 4.2.1 on you Ace (functional by still in beta2) try Wayland's CM10.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011671
Take a look around the Original Android Development thread and the Android Development thread and read stuff. You'll learn a lot.

[Q] Best Stable ROM for VZW Droid Bionic

Need to know which ROM is the most stable to use on this phone. Running an old version of Eclipse and have been happy with it. Wondering if I should update to latest Eclipse 5..1 build or try a different ROM. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
The old Eclipse was stock based the new is based off of AOSP. I find that stock based ROMs are more stable over the more customizable source based ROMs. That being said I have been running Flying Jelly for a few months at a time and personally it has been the best fit for my Bionic. There are a few Stock ROMs to choose from though

[Q] Which stable i9305 ROM with monthly release schedule?

I'm looking for a stable ROM for my i9305 which has strong release management: I don't want to run nightlies/weeklies and would would expect releases to be bug free or at least have an itemised list of know issues.
In short, I'm more interested in stability than quick releases of new features. A solid release every month would be ideal.
Sadly, CM11 is out - the dev doesn't seem to want to release the "milestone" or monthlies that our brother the i9300 has.
What ROMs have a track history of bug-free releases? I'm after a longer time between releases, and solid stability.

Have you tried the latest TGP (The Galaxy Project) rom? Very stable and highly customisable i've been using it for months now with no issues.

Unofficial Slimkat does the trick for me. Incredibly stable and tremendous battery life with Boeffla Omni kernel.

I'm a bit wary of unofficals after my previous unoffical ROM developer (Archidroid - rodman01) just put [discontinued] on the xda thread and then walked away!
I settled for LiquidSmooth (which I believe is based on Slimkat) and did a DIY on Boeffla

Thanks, that one looks really good. I like that it's possible to select kernels at install time. Also a great selection of pre-installed apps.
I've since installed LiquidSmooth, but will keep this one firmly in mind!!
If you are looking for another AOSP rom, try C-rom, stable and has a ton of customization
Just wondering, what version of liquidsmooth are you using?

I bumped into C-ROM looking for a ROM wife's i9000. It looked quite impressive, but I found that updating her kennel did the trick, so didn't try it. I prefer AOSP over TouchWiz, I'll keep one in mind, thanks.
I'm on LS KK 3.1 stable, with self-installed Boeffla kernel. I'm loving it.
please Which boeffla for liquid 3.1 for my i9305,thanx

C-rom is awesome! Tons of customization and really stable. Sadly it has not been updated in awhile.
I was running liquid smooth 3.2 nightly(currently on carbon ROM). Btw are you using the CyanogenMod or omni boeffla kernel?
