Can I flash a different region firmware on my international note?

I have a galaxy note with italian baseband. My question is can I flash it with another region's firmware (asian firmware)?

Yes you can!

Yes.You can always flash any region firmwares on your phone.But the firmware should belong to your phone model.i.e N-7000 firmwares on N-7000,and I-917 firmwares on I-917.Which means firmwares are devices specific and not region specific
If you cant understand any of the above,the exact answer for your question is yes you can

would this affect my warranty? & flash count? and another question could i directly flash with an older firmware, im currently on 2.3.6 i was wondering if i could flash 2.3.5?

1.It wont affect warrant as long as you are in stock firmware.But if you have a network locked device I'm not sure because I have no network locked device in my region.If you have international unlocked note,you are 100% covered by warranty as long as its stock
2.Stock roms dont increase counter.Only custom roms do
3.You can flash any GB rom when you are in GB(to make it simple IMO)

Does this also apply to other devices?
That it is possible to use different firmwares.

Yes you can. You can us Odin for PC to do it. Do some searching on the n7000 forums and you will find all the necessary files and flashing tools.

It explains everything in detail so you should be good to go if you read through it properly.

what if i want to flash an international stock rom in a unlocked sprint note 5??? can I do that?

If they have different hardware then it's a big No.

Can i flash different region's as well as different baseband
I have Samsung Galaxy Core 2 SM-G355HXXU0AOB1 and I live in Pakistan, so if i flash another region's such as India and the baseband will be different, will this effect my phone like the SIM, Carrier and problems like that.??????
And if someone could post the link for my device,, it must be Pak and same one as mine i would be very happy..... becz i was trying to update my cousin's phone (its his phone actually) and i SCREWED UP so the phone jst hangs on first screen (TWRP and Download mode work though) and i cd use some help..........BTW the source was a Marshmallow update which caught my eye ( http ://www .galaxystuffs .net/2016/02/marshmallow-rom-galaxy-core2.html ) if smone wants to check it out and tell me what i did wrong......cz i have to fix it for him its up to me. Hey Guys,
So I'm keen to root ky SGS 2.3.6 but I come from australia and my sgs is different to everyone elses... I have found ways to root it with odin but its all about XXJXV firmware or what ever it is and mine is the.TVDJV5. Can I use their insrructions for my version?

you can root by using an app or with in update from recovery or through your PC without flashing a kernel with root & CWM, if root is all you want . For links look at My Android collections below

If you cant find firmware for your country then flash another(newest)...
Im from Serbia and i flashed firmware for Italia,because newest firmware was for Italian market
And it worked just fine

One more question. If looking for firmware in sammobile.com to those files are KIES icon, so that means, that this file can use with KIES program to install some update?

I9070UBLPH 4.1.2 <-- last one and it was Virgin on sammobile was branded as unknown.
And
same but 2.3.6 one was from pc tel (Chile) and another one was Telcel(Mexico) Branded.
is any only stock Samsung SW? i read some about a version DX but looks like it is for Persian and United Arabic Emirates.

u can use other countrys firmware; if ur handset is NOT carrier based.

If your phone is unlocked and is not carrier branded then you're free to install any (good) Jellybean firmware...
But if your phone is carrier branded (like Claro, Sprint, Verizon, Vodaphone, Orange, etc) then you have to flash their respective Jellybean firmware...

Yes you can use firmware from another country buy only if your phone is not carrier branded, you can flash a JB firmware or rom if you like.GB is kind of outdated

i think my phone is unlocked cause i can use it with indonesian carrier...i bought my phone in HK...

Just don't flash it with China/Hong Kong firmwares. They caused hardbrick and imei lost in some devices.

I just downloaded 2 firmware...from indonesia and hongkong...flashed indibesian vrsion and its says fails...but not with hk version its passed but i got problem with screen calibration...any suggestion firmware?

WHY did you flash Honkong - he told you not to flash it.

Yes. But I am affraid that you will get problems. Lot of people told that Honkong Firmware can't be downgraded... Try.

As I know we can downgrade just with those files in that guide I gave you. And you can't use other Firmware to downgrade.
Try with that guide, if that fails - I have no idea how to downgrade HK FW.

Last time i downrage my phone with ZSLK3 and its work...but i dont know with other FW...or i just downgrade with ZSLK3 GB and re upgrade with another country FW with JELLYBEAN?

I am not sure, I never had that FW on my phone - I just read other people expirience. I know that when I tried to downgrade just with my country GB I got stuck on bootloop - needed to use that files from guide.

My country Serbia Firmware. I use it since it was out. Once I made mistake and I flashed GB over JB - I got that bootloop. And I reflashed JB.
So after you go back to GB you go to JB just like you did now.

I think that you can't use any other than that HK now - I read people can't have signal with any other. But search little to see if someone manage to install other FW.

Actualy,now i'm on jellybean with ZSME3 HK...and i only got problem with horizontal sensor...and someone says that i must downgrade my phone to GB and recalibrate?
are there any other ways to recalibrate it without downgrading?if yes i think i dont need to downgrade cause i dont have other problem til now

I know why you need to downgrade, I read both threads. Yes, you will need to use GB to calibrate it. As R_a_z_v_a_n told you it that thread.
