Hi.
I want to downgrade my Galaxy S from Mackay ROM (4.4.2 \ CM11 ) to Mackay ROM ( 4.2.2 \ CM10.1 ) .
Is there a special way to do that ? Because I'm afraid of bricking my phone or something by flashing the Mackay 2.999 ROM ( 4.2.2 ).
My current recovery is : TWRP 2.6.3.0.

Hi guys. Yesterday I installed the Mackay Rom [KK4.4] (with Omni kernel because of metadata error while flashing), I like it,it's very smooth but some settings are missing so I want to go back to Mackay 4.2.2 .. But my question is : can I flash that rom with the TWRP Recovery ? ( KK 4.4 is Cyanogenmod 11.0 and the 4.2.2 is CM 10.1 )
I'm confused about this

yes, you can try, if it fails you may need to use as lower version of TWRP

Flash a 4.2.2 kernel, reboot recovery . Then full wipe and flash the 4.2.2 ROM of your choice .

Hello
I this post i want to write the names of the roms from I9070 that works on I9070P by changing Tee folder. If you will have a rom that works on I9070P post his name.
One question is SUPPRESED JellyBean working on I9070P ?
Working list ( I found that some users test it and it works)
-CyanogenMod 10.1 10.2 11
-HarshJelly
-SUPPRESSED GingerBread
-JetMod
-Omni Rom 4.3
-Unnoffical Carbon ROM 4.4.2 (Port and Rom)
-LightJB v1.2
Omni 4.3
CM 10.2:good:
Hey guys
I haven't flashed a ROM on the GalaxyS for a while
So i'm on SlimRom 4.3 and I want to update to SuperNexus 4.0 build 1.1
When I flash the ROM (after wiping everything) I get a Status 7, partition error.
So I flashed the latest nightly from CM11, now it keeps restarting into recovery (CWM v6.0.4.6)
If I flash CM 11 again, same thing
What do?
Thanks

Hello everyone,
I am usnig Samsung Galaxy Note N7000, running CyanogenMod 11 latest nightly, Android 4.4.4.
I want to try MIUI ROM. But in the entire MIUI thread I havent been able to find any thread talking about how to Flash MIUI ROM on devices already running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
So can someone please guide me how flash my mobile with MIUI ROM.
Why should there be countless instructions for every version of all available Roms?
Simply follow the installation instructions given by the owner:
Installation:
- Download latest PhilZ N7000 kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1901191
- Make a Backup of your current rom
- Flash it
- Reboot recovery
- Make a Fullwipe (dont forget to wipe /preload )
- install the rom

Thanks for speaking out something. But my question was, my mobile is already running on KitKat (Android 4.4.4) but the official developer version of MIUI for Galaxy Note N7000 is still on "Author: MIUI Official Team and Version: 3.2.22 (V4)" which is on Jellybean. So its actually downgrading. And before Installing KitKat I remember that there is a change how KitKat worked compared to Jellybean. So wont there be a different procedure while downgrading from KitKat to Jellybean??
Which is what I am unable to understand. So do tell me if there is a procedure to follow or any points to remember while downgrading from KitKat CM11 to Jellybean MIUI.
Hi guys,
I looked through the forum and there are quite a mix of information regarding downgrading from CM 11 to stock 4.3 jelly bean on SG3 I9305 (international version). I am a noob at this stuff but got lucky when flashing CM 11 lol, so could you advice me proper steps to downgrade it back to 4.3 rom or can i just flash SG3 rom Kitkat 4.4.4 over CM 11 by odin . I fed up with all the bugs of CM11. The speaker is buggy, coudl not hear properly and many things.
my phone specs:
Android version 4.4.4 CM 11
Kernel 3.0.64-CM-g526d694
Please give me a link to a thread with step by step guide so i dont brick my phone.
Thank you so much
I have the exact same question - would really appreciate some guidance
