I am looking for a couple things. I would like to start working on Gummy for the Flex.
Where is the kernel source code for F340?
Is any other AOSP developers working on this?
Finally, can someone explain the bootloader on the G Flex? Is it unlocked or is it just loki'd?

I can tell you CM11 and Carbon based on 24A do, pretty sure the rest do also, what they don't have is knock off.

So this G Flex variant never got KitKat?
Wait. May be it would directly update to Lollipop

It's the CDMA2000 version for China (KDDI, I think).
And AFAIK, no KitKat update for that variant exists yet

No, I'm using it now. Japanese carriers aren't exactly known for updating their devices. I'll be surprised if we see KK, much less Lollipop.

Don't know about LGL23 but my LG G Flex LG-D959 has been updated to kitkat 4.4.2
I have summarized what works for the LGL23

Hello ya'll. I just wanted to learn that is there any difference between the models D955, D958 and F340? Any errors with a model? I'm going to buy one, so I'd like to learn every information I can get. Thanx in advance.

So as I say then. Ok, this is not the issue. I wanted to know is there any difference between them.
Is it possible to develop this ROM for our device anyone?
Sent from my Moto G 2014
Of course it's possible, only someone has to have the time to solve all errors (if any come up) and build it

What is it thats working? Im interested in finding new things to do with my phone ,and you have to same model i do, great phone right? So what is it that we're doing or installing?
Oh my...this is an old topic... Unlocking the bootloader enables rooting, the ability to install TWRP and custom ROMs.
Unfortunately, I don't own this device anymore....
