Update bootloader to go to 4.3??

Hi all! I have a wifi nexus 7 (unlocked and rooted with smoothrom installed) if I want to go to 4.3 do I have to update the bootloader to 4.23? If I do update the bootloader will I still be able to use a 4.2.2 rom before flashing to a 4.3 rom?

can you tell me about the features and enhancements of Doom´s kernel Z1-DooMKernel-v11.zip ?
Can you run this kernel on top of firmware 14.2.A.1.136? My device is already rooted.
What Linux kernel does Doom´s kernel v11 use? Is it based on Sony kernel sources or stock Android kernel sources?

if you read the post it tell you all the enhancements, are you just rooted or unlocked BL?

Hi you need an unlocked Bootloader for this kernel and an 681 ROM. Android 4.4 which Doom Kernel are for 4.3 I don't know

My BL is unlocked. Why does a kernel need an unlocked BL?

[Q] AMG EVO9 Z1 c6943 [14.4.A.0.108] to 14.5.A.0.2xx

I'm just wondering.. I installed AMG Evo9 a while ago, and I want to install a stock based rom which has Android 5.0
My phone is rooted and with Recovery installed, However I can't unlock its bootloader since it won't allow me to, meaning I can't flash any custom Kernel.
Can I install a 5.0 Stock based rom which has a higher compilation version? I mean 14.4.A.0.2xx or something? Or it's gonna brick my phone?
If I can do so, could someone explain me how?

No sorry dude but with LB you can only flash stock based roms as dstricker mx rom and Kryptonian. For the other roms you will need a UB

Marshmallow or Nougat for a locked bootloader?

So pretty much, I'm looking/hoping if there is a Marshmallow or Nougat rom for an Xperia SP with a locked bootloader. Currently I'm using Ressurection Remix LP v5.2.5 If it's possible to have Marshmallow or Nougat, may you please tell me how to do it or link me to a rom that exists (if there are any)
