Works excellent, will be included by default in the next version of my rom

Nova settings, disable or hide the dock, then run watch styler as a widget.
My watch styler works perfectly full screen using Nova Prime/Fomey Null rom (I did NOT install the full system UI).

Not perfect, although very close to it
You will notice a slight gap surrounding the page.. its called widget padding. Sadly novalauncher does not offer a option to disable/modify this settings..
It is barely noticeable, the only time I noticed it was when a user actually pointed it out with a screenshot..

No simply add the watchstyler widget to the homescreen, you may have to resize it.. but beside that you should be in the clear.

Nova Settings -> Gestures and Buttons -> Under Button Actions | Home Button -> Set to None
Watch Styler Loading theme
I try loading any theme on Watch Style and it gets stuck at 20%.
I am using the latest version of Null Rom and a Note 3 9005 running X-Note 13 4.4.2

Open the weather widget and change it in the settings on your phone. Then reboot both
Actually it is in the setting for weather in the Gear Manager app.

There isn't anyway as of now to refresh from the watch itself. It does autoupdate as soon as the app on the phone updates tho. I currently have the phone app set to update hourly on mine so that the weather info stays somewhat updated. I would imagine a future update will include someway to refresh directly from the watch itself.

That just allows you to setup how often the weather is refreshed, it doesn't actually do what the op asked which is refresh the weather from the watch. As a side note when you change the settings in Gear Manager that you mentioned it changes the settings in the weather widget on the phone and vice versa. I do believe that a future update will allow you to refresh the weather directly from the watch tho.

Undersood the question but frequent update (e.g. every hour) should mean there is no need to update from the watch. The weather does not change that fast!

The problem i'm having is that Weather isn't updating at all on my Gear,
If i go into apps and press weather i'm met with 'Add city to weather widget on mobile device'
On the main Gear clock/weather screen it states 'No weather info'
I've tried turning 'Use current location' on and off in Gear Manager, restarting both devices didn't help.
Also tried resetting the Gear to factory defaults.
I'm using a stock Note 3.
Everything else seems to work well,
Any ideas ?

is the weather app setup correctly on the Note 3? It gets all of it's info from the stock app on the Note, oddly enough the weather app is obviously different from previous versions as it doesn't work at all on an S4.

The only way I know is to go into the Settings app on the Gear and then Battery.

Is there a way to get the TouchWiz Accuweather widget to run in the Nova launcher? It seems that only the TouchWiz version updates the weather clock on the Galaxy Gear watch. It would be nice to have it work with Nova as well. I did install the Accuweather application from the Play Store, but its widget doesn't sync with the Gear watch, or so it appears.

You have to use a root browser to copy it to system/app.
With the new tizen update you can refresh weather manually from the watch now

I noticed that all the widgets I tried to use that was not native to SAMSUNG is not synchronizing with the Galaxy GEAR.
Thus, I can not use the coolest launchers because of this.
Some of you can use other launchers and weather widgets that sync with the Galaxy Gear?

I'm on null_04 rom and i moved launcher from /data/app to /system/app but it work also without moving it.

Install this software http://www.wondershare.com/android-manager/ to your PC (trial works fo a month) then connect Gear to PC and confirm message on Gear. Now you can install any app from PlayStore to your Gear.

Thanks i will try it tomorrow. Currently downloading the null 05! and then i'm gonna learn about customizing my Gear. Is it only for PC or it is working on Mac?
I use a Mac, so for flashing Odin i have to ask my brother to lend me his Windows PC. So it means i have to download the app via PlayStore on the computer... and then use the program to transfer the .apk from the compu to the Gear.
Let me wait a bit and update to null 05 and see how the PlayStore works around with internet connection. Thanks again.

I come from an S5 to the note 5. Very nice phone but takes getting use to. My question is with the S5 in the app drawer there were 3 little dots in the top right corner you clicked on that and it had an option to hide apps you clicked on that and the app you wanted to hide and done now no one could see your app icon well this phone doesn't seem to have that option or if it does I can't find it any help please or is there an app that will allow you to hide your app icons?

Sort of the same concept, hit the top right corner - Edit - then disable the apps you want to hide.
If you still want to use it but have it hidden then I'm not sure.
I think there are launchers with that option available.

with note5 samsung has removed hide apps feature.. Also you can access three dots menu by touching and holding back capacitive key in the compaitable app or window..
I downloaded nova launcher prime cause the free one wouldn't let you hide your app icons. Wish the phone still had the feature like it did before. But all works now I can hide my icons. It's not that I don't use the apps I want to hide it's that I don't want everyone seeing what apps I have like my kids to start lol.

you will be surprised. I would guess about 95 % of the Samsung apps widgets work with Nova Prime I should know as i just again checked my Nova launcher widgets and most of Samsung apps widgets in TouchWiz, i can pin widget, in Nova.

For those who prefer custom Launchers.
I prefer to use Nova instead of Pixel Launcher but persistent Nova search bar is too small on my opinion and doesn't update weather correctly. So I made my own Pixel styled search widget for KWGT.
Widget is fully customizable so you can set it up as you want including all its layers, colour etc.
KWGT Kustom Widget Pro Key is required to load preset!

You need to install KWGT and move Google_Pixel_Search_Widget.kwgt into Kustom/widgets folder. Then choose KWGT4x1 widget from your widgets gallery and place it to the screen > "click to setup..." (it opens KWGT app) > Exported tab > Google Pixel Search Widget. That's all.

Try to resize it right after placing into home screen. And also set Layer > Scale to 70.
Was an issue with sizing settings from within the KWGT app settings. Changed to auto resizing and it all looks perfect now.

By default it is set to launch Google News & Weather. So you should install this app or set TOUCH to launch another app, shortcut etc..

You can always choose another weather source or try different apps, shortcuts etc. for launching.
I'm using weather.com as a source and google now weather.

I googled around and it said to use activity - Google - gsa.queryentry.queryentryactivity which comes close. It opens the overlay but also the app. I would love to faithfully reproduce the native widget so I can use a better weather source. Thanks!

The two things I want are to be able to hide apps, and to have to swipe up to access app drawer as opposed to having an icon for it.
I have tried a couple but the p20 original launcher always ends up taking over. Or with the Lawn launcher for some reason I could add the time/weather widget.

It's right there in dock settings. "Bottom search bar" Disable the feed in the bottom of "At a glance" settings.
To hide apps simply long press, edit and tick hide app icon.

On the at a glance I only have the attached. And long pressing an app only gives me app info or some generic options?

Nova, Evie...there are many out there but these are my favorites. Huawei widgets don't seem to work on any custom launcher.
Evie Launcher has been my favorite for a really long time and matches both of your requirements. Plus, the ability to change Icon pack not only by pack but also one by one is a big plus. Smooth, clean and minimalistic and has a couple of cool features.

For me the best launcher which i always go back to is LawnChair and it's Google feed add-on.
It's a lot like the Pixel launcher but has a lot more settings.
Icon size, theming, weather provider, gestures, app hiding etc.
It's rapid too and fluid, and it's free
Make sure the launcher is set as the default one, if the 2nd launcher in use crashes then the only thing the system can do is revert back, if you're using lawnchair, use the latest version.
I have it installed and mine never reverts back.
Another way would be if you were rooted you could freeze the original launcher in titanium.

Long time on my previous phones I used Nova and Apex launcher. For 2 years now I am using Microsoft Launcher which supports icon notifications for free and I must say I'm still returning to it. I tried Evie launcher on my P20 Pro but for some reason it consumed the battery a lot. Microsoft launcher does not consume battery at all (always like 1 mAh <), its fast and stable, modern looking but different compared to "stock android looking" launchers.

I use Nova Launcher, as it gives me everything I need. If you have problems with reverting to the stock launcher you can try to lock the new launcher in resent
