Can't Install New ROMs - Motorola Atrix HD

I'm on CM 11 & everytime I go to recovery and follow the process of erasing and installing, when I try to install the ROM, it gives me an error (status 7). Any help will be appreciated.

What recovery are you trying and flashing what rom?

ClockworkMod touch 6.0.4.4 & SlimKat 4.4.2

But, pretty much any of the newer Tom's beside OSE, it gives me the error.

I would try philz recovery never had any issues with it

Hey, I am a bit of a n00b, but I acquired a rooted MB886 with Slimkat 4.4.2 from a pawn shop. I know nothing about this stuff but I'd like to return the phone to factory stock condition. I am for some reason unable to get LTE signal on this phone. Best it does is HSPA+. When I go to *#*#4636#*#* it won't let me select LTE (GSM) option, it just keeps switching back to WCDMA preferred. And in the network settings, it only gives me the option for 3G or 2G, nothing for 4G or LTE... I feel like Slimkat is buggy.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

This thread should tell you all you need to know about flashing stock.

Clockwork mod reboot

Hi all. I got a Revolution and every time I reboot it. It goes straight to clockworkmod and my stock rom wasnt backed up. I just want the phone to work again. Rooted are not. Everytime I try to flash a rom it says. "Installation aborted"
(Bad)
Any help. Super nervous that my phone is screwed until someone has an idea on what's wrong?

I'd first try to download a different rom, maybe an older version of one.. or even try to redownload the version you have.. possibly just a bad file, I have seen that happen

Are you downloading these ROMs on your PC or your phone? Also, what ROM are you downloading?
Did you do wipe data/ factory reset in the "settings menu" on the phone? If you did then that's your cause. Look around in the dev section here and find the "stuck in clockwork" thread.

Download the Revo One Click root package again and see if you can run it from your computer while in recovery. Not sure it will work but if all else fails you can run LGNPST on your computer from recovery.

Uninstall all drivers from the PC and go to LGs website and download the drivers from there. That seemed to fix my issues.

Yeah did that. Even tried the updater from LG. It worked on my shine plus but not the revolution

Did you do super one click or mt's root tool? Could you go and try the one you didn't try.
I'd (if) memory serves me right, cubed did a thread about being stuck in cwm. It should be in the development section. Just know I am not a pro, and if your phone is jacked up there is always a way out, that is the beauty of our phone it's fool proof.

Roms for sch-i800

Is there any custom roms that work for the samsung galaxy 7inch verizon tablet besides the cubed rom? I really would like to try something new. Any ideas?
Sent from my SCH-I800 using XDA Premium App
I have been running the stable cm9 on my Verizon galaxy tab without any issues at all.
Just goto get.cm and search for p1c in the stable section and download the latest version. I do believe you need cwm 6.0 to flash it. There is a really good link on how to flash ics on our tabs here: http://geekniggle.blogspot.com/2011/12/loading-ice-cream-sandwich-on-verizon.html. I followed this guide and it worked perfectly. (Hopefully I didn't break any xda rules by linking this.)
Best of luck to you. Just don't miss any steps from that link.

i know you didn't ask me but i've been running cm9 for a while now the rc version. very stable no problems on my end. but i was just gonna flash the stable version but someone mentioned something about having cwm 6.0 in order to flash it. i just checked their site and only the 5 something is available for us. please someone correct me if im wrong.
I have a sch-i800 and i have been running cm9 on it with no problems. I am now running cm9.1 stable you can get it from http://get.cm. The Verizon tab it the p1c also download the gapps from http://goo.im. you will need these 2 files to get things working properly with ics on your verizon galaxy tab.
I've been running cm9 since the beta stages. I would definitely recommend it for anyone now that it's stable. Just flashed 9.1 myself last night and it is solid.

Does your battery drain while the tabs off?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
Not normally. There was a bug in cm9 (not yet in cm9.1) where I would get the black screen of death and it would kill my battery. I would have to hold the power to force reboot to restart the tab, but when it is in normal standby, no it doesn't drain my battery.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Funny.... right after I posted this about not getting the black screen of death in 9.1 I checked and my tablet actually had it. So I guess the issue is still there but it isn't a breaker in my opinion.

sooo I downloaded the p1c file. which file is this from the tutorial you posted??
That is the full Rom, should be a zip file. You can't flash it until you get cwm 6.0 recovery on your tab, which if I remember right is the first couple of steps.
Just download everything the tutorial tells you and follow it, don't miss anything.

awesome. that was super easy. i just skipped the ics steps and instead after cm5 upodated to 9.1 and im loving it. thanks a million! :good:
Sweet!!!!! Glad it worked!!!

Yeah. It's so much better

Well, now that you are on ics, CM10 Jelly Bean nightlies have just released as of last night. First nightly yesterday and it is solid as can be. Havent found one thing that does work. GPS, blueetooth, 3g, wifi, camera, all working with zero workarounds.
Just wanted to point this out to you. Check the nightly section at get.cm under p1c. Runs smoother then cm9!
Sent from my SCH-I800 using xda app-developers app
It is nice but it stops supporting flash. Although there is a work around. Do you how I can make the theme the same as cm9 I liked it simplicity
Sent from my SCH-I800 using Tapatalk 2
Just add a different launcher from the play store. Either adw or nova. Should give you the ics feel.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
There's no way to just have the status bar like before?
Sent from my SCH-I800 using Tapatalk 2
Not that I'm aware of honestly. Not sure if there is a ics launcher that puts that back or not.

[Q] Problems Rooting LG Thrill 4g

First things first, I am a Noob.. I have an ATT LG Thrill 4G that a friend has given me. It's hardlocked. I was told that rooting and flashing the ROM to Factory Origin, would remove the hardlock. However, I have tried every way mentioned in all the threads, tried SuperOneclick, Megatron, Unlock Root Pro and a few others. However, my phone just does not want to root.. Any help/sugestions would greatly be appreciated.

[Q] sim unlock after CM install

I've successfully rooted, bootloader unlocked my Atrix HD. I've already installed CWM recovery and CM 10.1 stable. It looks like I can't sim unlock. Unless I have a stock rom. Can I install Mexico retail stock using CWM, sim unlock using a code and then simply load CM 10.1 again using CWM recovery?
Thanks.
I believe you have to RSD back to Mexican retail, but, I'm not sure.

Thanks. It was originally an AT&T phone. Do I have to revert it to stock AT&T? If so, which version?
Since youre unlocked, Mexico retail should work.

Mexico retail through CWM recovery or through RSD lite?

Have to keep in mind that Stock roms needs to be flash Only by RSDlite. The only way to flash stock using CWM is by restoring a backup made on cwm. I have one backup for stock att and for mexican in case i mess up something and I can fix easy on the go if I dont have a PC at the moment

ROM's offered in ROM Manager

I've seen cm ROMs being offered to our device and used them myself but saw "Shoredroid". Has anyone tried these ROMs? if so are they worth our time?
Sent from my MB886 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I don't suggest using ROM manager ROMs at all... Or anything from it. It didn't get it's nickname "ROM Mangler" for nothing xD. Stick to Goomanager ROMs and use get.cm for CM nightlies.

If you're also using recovery from ROM manager (photon q) you'll want our official one. And just find a ROM in the development section here and flash away. Just remember to make backups and wipe stuff.
