So I was finally able to get rumrunner to get to the "rebooting into boot loader, waiting for bootloader". my phone will reboot into fastboot, then my computer will come up with this error and nothing will happen then rumrunner will timeout.
Device manager showing my device,

Then I get this error after reboot
and also device manager does not show my phone anymore after the error. This is really frustrating because I am so close but this stupid hiccup is causing a problem. I am using Windows 8.1 and using USB 2.0 with the HTC USB cord, and have followed all the directions.

Hey guys,
I've read that the Rogers version (HTC Raider) CAN have it's bootloader unlocked (unlike the AT&T Vivid, correct me if I'm wrong), however I get stuck at "Waiting for device" in the command prompt, much like this:

Is there anything I missed?!
You probably aren't in fastboot mode...first type adb reboot-bootloader. And thanks for rubbing it in.
I was in fastboot afaik (hold down power + volume down and selected fastboot then press power)... I read somewhere that the Windows driver might need an update, I just reinstalled HTC Sync so I'll try again
EDIT: That was it! I didn't have the proper drivers (I assumed Win7 installed them automatically, but I needed HTC Sync). It's unlocked now! AT&T users: sorry for rubbing it in! lol
I assume this will work for the Bell Raider too. I'll give it a try when I get the time.
@cedrikfd could u plz specify this step by step because i can't get it to work for over 2 days!!!
I'm stuck on this step
The AT&T Vivid bootloader can be unlocked through HTCdev.com.

This happened to me when i unlocked a few weeks ago. You just need to unplug your phone then install htc sync, if its installed remove it and then install it again. Follow the same steps and it should work.
SOLVED
Hello, while trying to SIM unlock following this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2586704 and this custome HBOOT: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565201
I notice my fastboot connection fails with a "USB not recognized" error after trying fasboot everytime.
Never had this problem before, and ADB recognizes my device correctly every time. Re-installed drivers, and tried other laptops, but all fails at fastboot, which never happened before.
Some info: Windows 8.1, latest drivers (tried different ones), S-OFF, tried various USB ports and laptops. Never had fastboot problems under Windows 8.1 before.
EDIT: I think the problem is the phone itself now after using that custom Hboot? Reason being that no matter what RUU I try, when it tries to start the bootloader, the USB not recognized appears just like when I boot into the bootloader and try to fastboot any command.

So, I guessed right... turns out, under Hboot 1.55, my drivers that worked with 1.56, don't work anymore, so I had to install a fresh copy of Windows 7 x64 on another laptop in order to have a correct Fastboot connection .
There is another thread floating around on getting correct drivers for Hboot 1.55 under Windows 8.1, but I was too lazy to try and, and didn't mind installing a copy of Windows 7 as a dual boot on a laptop, just in case I need it in the future.
PS: I think it would also work under a virtual machine of windows 7 (vmware or virtualbox)
So recently I did a stupid and accidentally switched off my OPO during an update installation and completely screwed it all up. I tried switching it back on only to find that it was stuck in a recovery mode loop. I then hit factory reset in a last ditch attempt to save the poor bugger without flashing it and even that didn't work.
I've then had to resort to flashing it using the OPO toolkit software on my PC however when connecting to the PC, my OPO only shows up as an MTP USB Device and nothing else. I have tried installing recommended Samsung drivers for the phone but I wasn't able to as it the "update drivers" button was greyed out on the MTP USB Device properties window.

Basically, the OPO toolkit will not work as no android devices are recognised by the PC even though an android device is showing up in the control panel.
There is no way I can currently access the settings on my phone due to recovery mode loop obviously.
The last thing I want to do here is end up with being forced to use the OnePlus support which I hope most of you understand why.
Thanks for any suggestions!
Hi,
This thread is being moved to your own dedicated forum , where the experts may be able to help you better.
Good luck!
Put it in downloading mode and then use adb to use the toolkit since bow u don't have a os on the OPO happened with me too but I fixed it this way

I bought a used phone. The boot loader was unlocked from the beginning. I'm doing the steps to install Android 10, but something is weird.
I tried to go through the fastboot mode, but when I press the button, it doesn't respond, so I enter the computer through adb and there is no response, and then it returns to the system soon. When entering the boot loader mode to adb, a blue LED turns on. When I enter the recovery mode into adb, there is no reaction the same as when entering the fastboot. Also, when the power is turned off and plugged in, it automatically enters the flash mode.
When I first use the phone, the battery level is displayed when I plug it in, and it responds when I turn it on, but when I reinstall the stock rom of the same version with flashtool, nothing happens. There is no response even though I installed the 8.0 global version with the flashtool obtained from the deveploperworld homepage.
Strangely, the Android system works fine.
What should I do?

Solved the problem! If the Google USB driver does not work when recognized as other devices, try updating with the Samsung USB driver. It is recognized as a samsung adb interface and is recognized as normal in the fastboot devices command. You can install twrp in this state!
Cannot flash Pixel 5 back to stock Android for Calyx. Have tried everything.

As soon as I enter fast boot mode the phone disconnects from my computer or something. I can't get it to work with the Flash Tool or without it. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm at a loss and don't know what to do.
I get this error as attached.

Yes, I have bootloader unlocked and debugging turned on.
Open your Windows Device Manager while connected in fastboot mode (Right click Windows logo -> Device Manager).
Do you see your phone in the list with an exclamation or question mark?

Try with a USB-A to C cable. Do not use the supplied C to C cable.
There is something wrong with Calyxos.
Unlocked bootloader becomes LOCKED when you try to use flash.android.com on the first reboot.
How did I get it ON the phone if it was locked? well, it wasn't and now Calyx won't unlock the boot loader (even though it says it is)
Calyx website is not working.
I don't have windows, This is F'd
Anyone able to help me get this garbage off my phone?
