Need help from dev

Sorry but I know I wouldn't get any help in q&a section. So I had to post.
Can any pro Dev tell me what apk files are used in the android phone system. The process in making a call. I know the following are used until now and Im missing some or some system files.
Phone.apk
Contacts.apk
Contactsprovider.apk
Dialertabactivity.apk
Telephony provider.apk
Any libs or other Apks?????? Thanks and you will be helping in creating something big!

[Q] Downanimation.zip

Hi, anyone know where the downanimation.zip? I am looking for Root Explorer but can not find, I like to modify.

Downanimation.
The animation that appears when you turn off the phone.

Change the downanimation? I just wish it would go away!

Did you check up PowerOff.apk ? If you know how to open it and modify apk files, try to explore poweroff.apk.
Someone says shutdown images are in that file.
It's in /system/app/PowerOff.apk
but I`m not sure other types of O2X have same apk and modyfing method.
I recently succeeded modifying shutdown animation. As I wrote, Changing images and xml will be needed in PowerOff.apk

There you can download a CWM package to change the shutdown animation.

Live wallpapers are simple apps in system/apps... You can also find there cmwallpapers app. Which wallpapers from which rom do u need ?

For example I need simple wallpapers ( not live ) from hyperion 8 and jellyblastV3. I know where live wallp. are located, but not the simple ones.

Default wallpaper you can find in frameworks-res if you mean this

if it is a cm7 based rom there is an app called CMWallpapers.apk in system/app and default wallpaper is in framework-res.apk
for stock based , its in twframework-res.apk

[REQ] wants Dialer White like the pic attached

Can someone make or guide me as how to make a dialer like the one attached.

Theming the dialer to the extent of the one in that ROM is far from easy, you'd be better downloading the ROM and using the dialer from it ... Although I imagine it requires themed framework files aswell to look like that.

Not sure you will get the full themed look mate as it has themed framework files which, if flashed, would replace the ones from your current ROM which would most likely affect any Mods you use that require the same frameworks and/or apps. You can just drag the dialer and phone apps out of the ROM and try flashing them on their own but they are from a different base so there's no guarantee they'd work ... Check this thread, that's the RGUI ROM for the one but you'd have to install it to use the built in kitchen app to download the theme

That dialer is not belonged to MIUI instead it is sense dialer only. I guess ROHIT stopped making roms for sense. If you have his ROM, then you can extract all the pngs from drawable's folder of contacts & phone.apk and copy to the existing phone.apk & contacts in the corresponding folders. Later decompile the respective apks and go to colors .xml and change the color to blue for the sub text. You can get the color code from the RGUI decompiled apks's though. After compiling back, you can push the apk through adb and then reboot!
Infact ROHIT (dev of RGUI) did shared all his white themeing files with me , but i was too lazy to do the themeing though!

Yes i have the rom, if you have the knowledge, can u make it for me provided i send you the required files from that rom. I dont know abt compiling and decompiling....

Sorry mate i dont have time and busy with prescheduled meeetings..if any one willing, then i can share the theme files though!

Anyone else here can put an effort here... I am noob for this thing, plus didnt find any guide for making this.

I followed your post from my thread to here. It's a basic white keyboard that has the colors in xml edited slightly. It wouldn't take much to theme but you can't send over the images as there are xml coding in a few different places that needs to be added to the apk. The colors will not affect system as they are apk related only. The problem is you need to theme both the Phone.apk and Dialer.apk.

If i use the phone.apk and htcdialer.apk from that ROM, would it work... the base is 2.24 for both... and if YES, then how do I place them to my phone

It depends. It looks like a Sense ROM. You can pull the Dialer and Phone apk from the zip and add into system/apps and see if that works. Make a back up of your original ROM first.

I copeid those files to my phone via root explorer and ser permission to rw- r-- r-- for both and rebooted, but it reverted to the stock dialer....

Open the roms zip (which You currently have installed) file with winrar and go to /system/app.
There You should find the messaging app.

It is called mms.apk, also look for clues as another user has attached the same for you.
