Hi, I bought an Xperia Z (C6602) off ebay and it still stuck on 4.2 despite 4.3 coming out ages ago. I checked and the region is set to MENA ARABIC and according to

the update is not out for it.
If I were to change my phone to the international location, would all my update problems be solved? (I would be able to update right through the Sony UI?)
How would I be able to change my region?

Hello all!!
I am after the official carrier firmware for my Sony Xperia Z C6603. I bought my Xperia Z from my friend and it had O2's branding all over it, so I debranded by flashing the stock firmware but when I come to make an in-app purchase or buy something from the Google Play Store, it will only let me use my credit/debit card instead of "Bill My Vodafone Account".
Now before my Xperia Z I had the Galaxy Note 2. I had the exact same issue with it until I found the firmware for Vodafone and flashed it with Odin. Once it was flashed with the PROPER carrier firmware, it allowed me to "Bill My Vodafone Account"
So what I am really asking for is if some kind sweet would be able to upload maybe an .FTF file or a link to a site where I can download the Vodafone Carrier Firmware for the Xperia Z C6603. I would much appreciate it thanks!

other xperia z phones are getting the update through pc companion on my laptop but not my xperia z. the other phones had the same updated firmware version as mine.

My gosh.. Why is no one able to read a bit? Please search next time for information before making a new thread.
Anyway, wait or flash the firmware of an other region. You won't loose warranty. You only loose warranty if you unlock your bootloader.
It's up to SONY and your provider when you receive the update.

I have an Xperia Z.I have waited for a long time to get the Android 4.3,but never got the update.Then out of frustration i downloaded the android version 4.3(10.4.B.0.569)(.ftf file) from one of the xda post.Now i came to know that Sony has released 10.4.1.B.0.101 update.I am sure that i am no going to get the update. so,is there any way to get the 10.4.1.B.0.101 update instead of downloading the whole .ftf file,like getting the update from another country like Australia,UK where the 10.4.1.B.0.101 update is already available for the Xperia Z users...

Recently I bought a Sony Xperia ZR from a providor, for some weird reason the providor changed the customization number 1276-1253.
A normal ZR (in belgium) has 1275-5351, so when I connect my phone to my pc and open Sony Pc Companion, it says it is up to date. But my ZR is running 4.1, so clearly it isn't up to date :/. any way to change the customization number to the right one?

If the phone are rooted just download any build prop editor from google play and edit the customization number.

Hi i have a qusetion about my phone so I check witch CDA is my phone and is 1270-3841 Germany Telekom.de and the last available update is 10.5.A.0.230 /R1D. So is it posible to install other update with different CDA like 02 UK or somenthing else wich have the last update 10.5.A.0.283.
