Google Sky Map has never worked on my One. It used to kind of freak out and go all weird, but now it just stays at a fixed point no matter what I do to my phone. I'm running Viper One 4.3 with Android 4.4.
EDIT: My question is, how do I fix this?
+1 (running CM11 w/ TeaMSeven)

Hello all,
I am the new proud owner of an HTC ONE from Sprint. Here's what I have on it:
HBOOT v. 1.44.0000
TWRP Recovery v2.5.0.0
Cyanogenmod v. 10.1-20130529-NIGHTLY
Using Google Maps and GPS Status both search for a GPS signal, but are unable to get a lock. This is even under the most ideal conditions (clear skies, outside and standing on top of a multi-story building). Since this has been a constant problem I've set up the phone, I wonder if I am missing some drivers for the device. Is there anything I can do to get my GPS working?
The second, perhaps loosely related issue, is with the NFC; I have it enabled, but even when I have it placed near another phone, nothing happens (the other phone, interestingly, sees mine). I'm not sure if this is because the cm nightlies are still immature, or if I am missing a driver.
Please let me know your thoughts! And thanks in advance for any help!

Probably an issue with CM10, have you tried on a Sense based rom?

I was worried that would be a suggestion. Frankly, I don't like Sense at all. But considering that I've been struggling to find a good vanilla Android ROM, I guess I might have to switch to a Sense-based ROM. But that's for another thread.
I also have no GPS using cm10.1 nightly 6-9-13. Any chance on a fix soon?

Just use a different rome till cyanogen is stable till then if you stick with it you will have to continue dealing with nightlies till a release candidate is up that will be more stable since it will most likely be the final release minus a few small things that will probably be found/
Any recommendation for a good rom?

Wondering if I'm the only fella with this problem:
I recently flashed CM 10 (nightly build 2013-07-21) using TWRP (I'd originally used CWM, but it corrupted my internal SD card so I wiped everything and switched and that solved the problem). I'm s-on, so I manually flashed the kernal, went into TWRP, flashed the ROM, everything's hunky-dory. Used gapps-jb-20130301 (which is the most recent version), upgraded Talk to Hangout, everything's working fine.
Except I can't seem to get a dang video Hangout to work. Every time I try I get an error saying the network connection has timed out--and I'm on an AT&T Vivid, so no using the mobile network for me to see if it's just a wifi problem. I get kind of lousy signal here at my house, so I tried it at the office and at a friend's place, and got the same result.
So two questions:
1. Am I the only unfortunate sod having this problem?
2. Is there any way to fix it?
I really, really like CM 10 (it is seriously a revelation--this was my first foray into flashing my phone, and it's gone incredibly well--dang near a religious experience after the long dark of Sense), and it's currently stable and functional enough that I'd like to keep it if possible. Is this just Hangouts being weird, the Vivid being weird (from what I can tell that's a pretty common occurrence), or what?
Any help is appreciated.
If you are on CM 10 and not 10.1 and you are using those gapps, those gapps are for 4.2.2 and not 4.1.2.. and I'm pretty sure it is 20121011 or something like that if you need 4.1.2

Sorry, I meant to say I'm using CM 10.1. I've installed the wrong gapps before and that just made everything crash all the time, forever (the keyboard in particular). Everything seems to work except for video calls on Hangouts.

I have the exact same problem now. Everything works perfect except every time when I tried to start the video/voice call on Hangout it timeout/crash. Really hope this to be fixed.
I'm on the new 08/08 release, but has anyone gotten the new android device manager to work? Online it only recognizes my phone. Not a huge issue, but just wondering. BTW...works well on my phone.

Does not work for me too
Very poor solution by Google because works only device is online.
We canĀ“t track in real time or offline (last location).
After death of Latitude what option to track the last location of device?
Shows up in my list and rings fine with the latest cm9 nightly. Haven't tried any cm10 stuff.
Not working in KitKat either.... - could just be a Touchpad thing???
But then again, my phone didnt work wiht ADM until just now, so perhaps Google are slowly (very very slowly) fixing various bugs with their OLD system...??
Cheers, Lister
Hey all
i just updated my htc one to 4.3 but i noticed that my google now isnt working. When i bring it up it just shows the search bar. before it showed the weather and locations of work and home but now i have no cards. Ive already tried resting the phone but it still isnt working. Anyone else having this issues or know any possible solutions?
ps : i'm using stock rom, and haven't root or anything else
So, I've searched the forum through and through. I want to run CM11 on my Sprint HTC One M7. But I use maps and, more recently, Here by Nokia (because I love it), for traveling a lot. My problem comes when I'm actually trying to navigate. The GPS won't update. Flashing back to stock Sense 6, gps navigation works just fine. It'll update the very second the car starts moving. But on CM11, it takes a good 15 seconds before it updates my position. I'm wondering if it's just an issue with the nightlies or if I should go with a stable build. The last stable build was CyanogenMod 10.1.3. I don't think there's one for CM11. Any and all help is greatly appreciated and if there is a thread with a similar issue that I might have missed, please point me to it. Thank you in advance.
I'm still searching for a possible fix... if there is one. No luck yet. No one knows anything of the issue? Until I actually find a fix, I don't think I'll root my phone again as I've already unrooted it.
