hi..i have viper rom installed..everytime during voice call, the voice of other party continuously breaks due to which its difficult to understand what he/she says..this problem was also on the stock rom..what can be the solution ?? is it hardware or any software issue ??
could be a number of issues.
audio coming in could be a bad RX antenna, since your receiving signal to hear someone.
Could be bad noise canceling software or mic on your end not working properly.
Are you in one spot? or around the entire city? is this on speakerphone? earpiece? driving in a car? headset?
it happens indoor as well as outdoor..even on customer care call..its on earpiece as well as loudspeaker
have you tried headphones?
Sounds like a bad unit, time to send it in.
This is a known issue and caused by sim card operator. Change your sim card with an other operators and test it.

Hi,
I just managed to make the VoIP function of my Kaiser work, but I ran into a problem.
Apart from the sound quality being plain horrible (and I belive it's not the WiFi what's at fault), the voice always goes from the speaker on the back of the phone. Switching between the speakerphone and the normal speaker (for calls) doesn't change anything, it really *always* goes from the speakerphone. I thought that only additional VoIP clients have this issue and not the built-in one.
Is there any known fix and I just failed to notice it in the forums?
Thanks.
Hello,
Had anyone experienced a problem with the sound during a call? Mine Diamond all of a sudden started to do that. The sound of MP3, YouTube is Ok. Incoming call ring is sounds fine. But the voice... It's like scratchi/hoarse, radio bad reception like. Is that physical or ...????
Please, advise.
Aparently my problem is similar to this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=420606
The only difference is that my phone ringing Ok, plays sound Ok. Problem only with the voice from caller. However when caller does not say anything, the background noise (cars, other people chatting) is Ok.
Had the same problem. Earpiece speaker is of terrible quality - my friend owns a service center and he changed the speaker with one that comes in Sony Ericsson K 850. SE speaker is much better and sound is now excellent.
why is htc using all these sub standard parts?
I have T-Mobile Wing, which is not in service now. I wonder if I take that thing out of it and put it to Diamond. How compatible these things? Is there any info on parts compatibility?
Hello, sorry my english is bad enough. That would be my problem is that my microphone when I'm calling or I recording a video the voice is noise. But when I talk hands-free phone you can hear me perfectly, but switch back and my voice is not heard only noise. Someone have this error? Did anyone know what the solution to this? Thank you in advance for your answers.
I had same problem had to send phone back to HTC for repair. I heard some faulty microphones.
I'm having an issue with my Galaxy S6 920A on T-Mobile. If I originate a call in an area of weak signal many times the receiver cannot hear me, as if the mic is not working. Happens about 50% of the time. No problems with the mic, sound recorder is fine, I can make wifi calls and works every time. Incoming calls work most of the time (occasionally, maybe about one out of 10 calls has same issue). The outgoing channel is working because I can send DTMF tones using the keypad and the receiver will hear those, just not any voice from the mic. This is happening on two phones, one with Android 7.0 and one with Android 5.0.1. Also doesn't matter if I use a bluetooth headset, same issue. Can't have a phone where I have a 50/50 chance of my recipient hearing me. Any help would be appreciated.
Can anyone help on this? I'm trying to figure out if I have a physical problem with the phone or if they all work like this. Seems unusual that I would have two phones bought at different stores with different color and they both have this issue. Thanks.

Hi all
Has anyone of you noticed problems with the microphone during Whatsapp video calls? I mean, I often make calls with my parents who distinctly hear only my voice but hear the voices of my daughters very badly. I tried using other phones convinced that the problem was in the speaker of the phone I was calling, but instead the voices are heard very well.
Is there any setting I can change?
Thanks!
