Flash player - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I remember I tried a lot of flash player versions from the web but none of them worked on the Z1..
But I found a flash player apk on my SD card from my last phone and that one worked flawlessly, the thing is I sent my phone back for repair and now I cant seem to find that akp, if anyone has a flash player version that works with this phone please share it with us!

This works for me on my z1

[Q] MIUI MCGv2.1 - YouTube problems :(

Hi everybody, since few days my Galaxy S was on MCGv1, I update it to MCGv2.1 and after reinstall all my apps and YouTube have a bizarre behavior : the back is in white/grey, it's hard to read texts and videos don't work right.
I tried reset factory, reboot, hard reboot, delete/install Flash Player, flash the rom again...
If somebody can help me
I'll tell you what I did.
I removed the YouTube app with System App Remover. Then I went to the market and downloaded the YouTube app from there. Installed it and it's working fine.
Done!
Thanks you Mohitdabbaail, I tried u'r solution... And now YouTube work
I don't know why the rom include a "broken" version of YouTube but right now it's okay.

help me :(

Right, I was using MIUI for a while and got bored, so I reverted back to a official firmware JVT to be exact. But I had a problem, my internet didn't work although wifi was fine. also when taking pictures they store on the phone and i can view them via file manager but they do not show in gallery or even when ive review photos from the camera. AND my music player will not open
So I flashed Darkys ROM 10.2 FE thinking that it was the ROM but i've still got the same problems
Can anyone help?
Please
flash with repartion on use 512 pit
already tried that, quite a few times now
first try a cleaning script then install Darky Resuraction. I hope that will work for you.

Right headphone not working

I flashed the official CyanogenMod via the official installer and I'm on 4.3 currently as there's no updates yet. The audio was working perfectly but suddenly the right channel has stopped working. I've tried different headphones and different apps. Even the system sounds don't play on the right side.
I hope someone can help.
Maybe You're using some equalizer?
Check for that, else try to flash other ROM and check then. If it works on other rom, then it's just software issue (data may be damaged or rom) else it's hardware.
Sent from galaxy s4 zoom
It might be a hardware issue after all. I've flashed another ROM and wiped every single thing on the device. Still not working.

[Q] Headphones correctly detected only first time after boot, not detected after that

I am experiencing headphones detection problem with my Xperia Z1. Headphones are correctly detected first time after reboot. If I try to plug them in after that phone doesn't detect them any more (external speaker is used even after I've plugged them in).
I contacted Sony support and they suggested it might be Smart connect. I cleared it's cache. Didn't help. I disabled/removed it. Didn't help either. I downgraded to an older ROM (don't remember if it was 4.2 or 4.3) and it worked as expected. Then I downloaded fresh .ftf of latest rom. Same problem re-appeared. Tried with Kit Slim custom ROM (based on 4.4) and experienced same problem.
It is obviously a SW problem. Is there any app which would allow me to manually direct sound to either destination? I have SSH server running on my phone. Is there any way to do this via shell? Any API call that I could utilize? I have no experience with Android dev but I am SW engineer and I think I could implement a simple app like this if someone would point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
it's definitely something with smart connect. had the same issue some days ago...... unistalled smart connects updates and installed them again -> works!
Tried that already. Didn't help
I contacted Sony support again and they suggested to try PC Companion's repair feature. What will that do? How that relates to the fact I'm running a rooted custom kernel?
Thank you!
hm try to flash .157 with flashtool. after that flash trinity kernel via flashtool and fastboot -> should work like charm dont forger to save your data before that I did the same and it worked for me
Where could I download that?
