Hey all, just a quick question.... i'm trying to get out of test mode and i read on here that if you flash a ZV4 tot that it would get you out of test mode. Well, i'm flashing it right now but my question is, am i able to upgrade back to a ZV9 or something?

Hello everyone,
i have a weird problem right now.... i am using Windows 7 - btw i F-ing LOVE IT!!! and i'm trying to get my Galaxy i9000T to Froyo or Gingerbread... i might not know what the difference is or even if they are different things... if someone could explain this it would be great... i've search everywhere in this website and i've found answers as to how to upgrade my phone, but nothing seems to work, so this is my last resort right here....
the reason why i need to enter download mode and flash my phone is because i had it with Gingerbread, but for some reason my "soft keys" where acting erratically, so i found these ROM:
- CODE_I9000TUBJI1_AP_PDA_CL568719
- CSC_I9000TUUBJI1_MULTI_UUB
- MODEM_I9000TUBJH1_CP_PHONE
and my phone came back to life , but after this my phone cannot go into download mode to get the updated firmwares....
i've found numerouos options in this site to get into download mode but none work, this includes Android SDK, removing and holding the battery.
once i get into download mode then i don't know how to get Froyo or gingerbread in my phone again??

you could try starting download mode with adb... or with a homemade jtag (worked for me everytime)
Yea try usb jig.. lots of thread here that'll help and plus if u dont want to do it on your own, amazon sells it..
use the usb jig!
Its really simple. I have been playing with the phone for a couple of hours.... Gonna write up a tutorial if anyone needs it..... Will get you back to the original stock without recovery or the rom booting all you need is download mode
Help me
Hey I bought the phone from EBay and have the same issue.

okay so I need some serious help. Im new to LG and yesterday I did something stupid. I flashed on a D955 rom onto my D995 phone and now I cant restore this stupid thing. It keeps giving me an error because of the DLL and I need a DLL that will bypass the check or a KD file perhaps. I used the custom LGUP_8974.DLL ( custom one ) but the thing is it still gives an error. IDK what I was thinking, I was pretty stoned when I did this so I just went with it trying to restore it back to sprint. I have the right file now to restore it but im stuck cuz I don't have a recovery on my phone. I can still access some weird recovery mode thing with the Volume up + power button for adb but I need this fixed asap. this is my work phone and we don't have insurance x.x so I maaaaajorly messed up. Can anyone help?

OK, this post might be long. Feel free to skim. I just want to let people know everything that I've done.
So, my VS980 was rooted and I was trying to install a new ROM. I was going to try out Cloudy G2, but the installation routine only gave me international variants to choose from. I picked one anyway and my phone has been hosed since. I didn't have any download mode or recovery or anything.
I was able to get download mode back by extracting part of the firmware out with the LG Firmware Extractor and flashing that through fastboot. So, that part worked. I have download mode. I was going to try to restore my 24A firmware with a KDZ file and the old LG flash tool v 1.8.1 (the one where you put the ADB interface on COM41, and you use the updated megaunlock.dll, etc), but that no longer works for me. It keeps giving me the "failed previous load" error. I can't find a fix for that.
So, I've been trying to flash it (or firmware 26) with the LG Flash Tool 2014 (the one where you pick "Republic of Korea"). That will only get to between 25 and 49%, and then crash with an unknown error.
In between trying that option, I found instructions for extracting all of the bits out of the firmware and then flashing them to the phone partitions one by one. That seemed to work except I kept getting a security error on bootup. The only fix I found for that was to flash with the first flash tool I mentioned. Ugh.
The last time I rooted my phone and ran a custom ROM, my desktop USBs couldn't communicate with my phone very well, but my laptop could. This time not even the laptop's working. I even bought a new USB addon card (I needed it anyway, the USB3 ports on this suck). That seemed to get the computer to see the phone better, but it didn't solve my problems.
Can anyone help with this? I've scoured tons of directions already.
Thank you for any help
Wackman
A little bit of progress
So, I finally got the older flash tool v 1.8.1 to start working. I've almost got it to flash the stock .TOT file (the KDZ file keeps giving me the "failed previous load" error). Now, I've kinda hit a new roadblock.
I think I mentioned that I got into this mess by trying to flash the CloudyG2 ROM, but that it's for international variants. When the flash tool tries to flash the firmware for the VS980, it thinks I have an F320S, and says wrong phone. Anyone know a way around this? I still only have access to download mode. No fastboot, no recovery, no ADB.
any luck? I bricked my G2 last night and I'm trying the flashtool to get back to stock 27A right now. Did you update your C++ library? I read somewhere that that can cause issues with flashtool..
Hey guys, I have this phone that I got and it looks like it is soft-bricked. When I charge and turn it on, I am unable to get past the 'Warning: Bootloader Unlocked' screen. and it stays there.
So far I download ADB for my command-prompt and I downloaded the stock firmware. I don't think I can get into any modes by using the buttons but maybe on the ADB?
So can anyone help a noobie flash a stock firmware? I looked at softbricked Moto g2 threads but my question wasn't answered so I thought I would make a thread. Thanks guys! :good:
It's pretty easy just reflash stock firmware using this link : Easy Installer 5.0.2
All information is given in the thread.
