i recently updated my phone with CyanogenMod 11.0 20140208 and i cant play a live video from website or app,after it loads it sayd cant play video
is this themer related or related to the rom you installed ? if rom related you need to post in the correct forum

You need to post in GENERAL or in PROPER rom thread. Let me tell you this. You have correct permissions to post AFTER you have contributed 10 posts to this forum. My guess would be to either MAIL the OP of this rom or open a threaad up in general section and STAY AWAY from opening stupid threads up in dev section as this is not allowed and very much frowned upon.

I've installed a Beta 9 of CM9 by Maclaw, but I've a problem, don't load the system.
It's locked on configuration of first boot and have a glitch graphic. Watch this video

why you fools don't understand the difference between dev section and general section.
Try to make out of my post and then reply if being a noob you still have brains otherwise dont even dare.
For the solution of the bug refer to cm9 discussion thread made by maclaw in general section of sgm.
Buzz has made some patches , learn how to apply them and find answers to your nooby problems...
I dont find good rudiments in mocking you , its just you should understand and follow the rules.
Stick to rule otherwise you may suffer fractions and penalties ...
And yea ask someone who mods sgm threads to move it in general section for god sake...

I'm visiting xda forums quite a while now.
But haven't bothered to post yet.
So i got the idea of posting cm10 nigthlies including google apps and samsung market on a daily basis.
But i'm not allowed to post in the dev session nor post external links to the rom.
Is there anyone willing to post the rom for me?

The CM10 nightlies are not yet here, so you're thinking about building them from source and posting here right ?
Anyway, as far as i know, including Google Apps in custom roms violates the license, therefore is not allowed here.
I think the same goes for Samsung apps.
Btw. now that CM9 went stable, it's most likely that we'll see official CM10 nightlies very soon.

i was indeed talking aboput building them and posting them here.
Actually as i alreaddy builded it for my self it wil just be posting
As far as including g-apps and samsung market go other roms include them as well.
Legally there is no reason to differeniate between posting seperate zip files for g-apps and samung market and including them in a rom.
Both are ways to distribute them and both are alreaddy on the site.
But i guess i won't be posting my builds here if they are against the rulez.
I'm not sure about it, please refer to XDA rules. I remember CM Team having troubles with including Gaaps in CM7 builds.
I'm sure that your CM10 build will be very appreciated by users here, try posting them in General section until you get access to developer section.

You actually built a ROM for yourself ? If so, then hang around the Q&A section.Plenty of space for posting even for the most basic problem solving.For a guy like you, getting the requisite number of posts will not be difficult.
Note:I'm not suggesting he spam the threads.

The nightlies are live in the general section now with some nice url tricks.
But the dev section would be far better and using urls without tricks would be nice aswell.
As far as the posting goes well I'm an impatient guy.
I,m using the Mackay Rom (1.48) But I can not choose my own ringtone. Is there a way to use my own Ringtone.
On every other Rom I could use my own Ringtone.
There is a thread for Mackay Rom in Android Development Forum. You can search that thread maybe this was discussed already. If not, you can post your problem there. I'm sure the Developer will be more than happy to help you with your problem.
P.S.: I'm not using Mackay Rom so I cannot help you with this.

Sorry, if your problem was not yet discussed in the Mackay Rom Development Forum, I think the quickest way is to complete your 10 posts by posting in the General Discussion Forum and in the Q&A Forum just like I did before.

i have a small problem and i need your help.
I have installed CM10 (Invendor Alpha5) on my I9001
I have mounted a NAS drive with Cifs Manager.
It works fine but i have a Problem with the german letters like ä,ö,ü
I have read that i can load with the CIFS Manager the Module nls_utf8.ko (one file from the Internet)
It will not work.
Perhaps i have the wrong module. Can someone tell me where i can find the correct one, or is there a other way necessary.
