[Q][C6602] Kind of a bootloop - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good evening everyone,
I'm having an issue with my C6602 lately, I updated it to latest firmware through OTA, a day later, it just wouldn't boot up and got really hot.
I tried flashing another firmware with flashtools, succeded, but then, whenever I turn it on, I have 5 seconds max, and it reboots (unless I turn the screen off, this way it'll work, but will eventually reboot if I turn on the screen.)
I looked in the forums, and tried most of the solutions, I even reset it using sony companion.
Now I'm stuck with kind of a brick, the phone doesn't turn on, but if I plug it to a wall, it boots up, but gets stuck on lock screen (irresponsive), reboots after a while, gets stuck, reboots, then gets stuck for as long as I keep it plugged in, then turns off as soon as I unplug it and starts bootlooping until battery dies.
Anybody got any idea ? Please do ask if you need any more details.
Thanks in advance.

Before you updated you was also on stock ROM?
So flashtool recognize your phone without problems?

Yes, phone is recognized by flashtool, now the issue is as follow (edited the first post too).

If I remember well, the phone must reach 50% battery to be repaired with SUS, but this just wouldn't happen, when the phone gets stuck on lock screen, it gets really hot, and even if I let it sit there for an hour, the battery percentage won't change much. I'll try it again anyway, there is no other method than SUS ?
Edit: It says I have the latest version installed

Since you get your phone recognized by SUS make sure battery is more than 50% charged and try the repair option.
SUS and flashtool is your friend i guess..

Repair option, hum, I just tried the update thing.
I'll try to leave it plugged for night (and hope it won't blow up), and then try to repair tomorrow.
I'll let you know either way.
Thanks

And if it stucks on lock screen, does it turn off if you hold power and volume up(12 seconds i thought you have to hold the combination, it have to vibrate 3 times)?

Yes it does, then it reboots, then gets stuck again (Sometimes it even gets stuck while there's the wave animation after the xperia logo).

just download an ftf and flash it via flashtool
open flashtool and connect your phone via usb cable while pressing the volume down button to enter flashmode

As I mentioned before, flashing an ftf didn't fix the bootloops, nor the freezing

If you flashed correctly with flashtool and SUS doesn't help also, I would say there is a hardware problem. Because more or less you can solve every software problem with your phone with a clear flash.
You don't have a recovery, right?

No recovery, no.
Im unrooted, and bootloader is locked, guess I'll have to take it back from where I bought it for a fix, it looks like a hardware problem (leaving the phone plugged for the night didn't change a thing)

Your battery has a problem, anyone would say. Try a fresh FTF install with wiping data. Also try repair. For that you need to charge your phone when it is turned off. And make sure FTF version is newer or at least same with your latest firmware worked fine.

[Solved] Xperia T won't boot

My Xperia won't boot since yesterday, i'm stuck on the screen with the triangle with a wrench and a screwdriver. I saw some threads where they said you should wait, but it's been like this for the last 15 hours or something. I have tried searching for a solution but couldn't find a solution. The phone has the latest stock Jelly Bean firmware and is not rooted, any ideas how to fix this?
Edit: Sorry wrong section
Re: [Q] Xperia T won't boot
Try to turn it off. And flash FW via flashtool.

I don't really like that i first have to unlock the bootloader to do that. I have this phone only a few weeks so i can just get a new one from my carrier but that takes a lot of time. Is it possible to repair it with the Sony PC companion or ADB?
Re: [Q] Xperia T won't boot
Just plug it in and leave it, it's repairing itself.
If you keep turning it on or off it starts again.
As an aside you don't need to unlock to use flashtool.
If you can't wait then download and flash the same version with flashtool or use a pccompanion, repair option. If you won't wait you need to format data

The 15 hours i described was without turning it off and on, can it really take that long?
Re: [Q] Xperia T won't boot
Hold vol up and power until you feel the three vibrations, run pccompanion without the phone connected, choose the software repair option, connect phone when instructed, do not power up the phone before or you'll be straight back to the tools screen.

Soft - bricked my xperia T, need HELP (SOLVED)

Hi guys, this is my first time posting here in xda,
I have a problem with my xperia T, it boot loops (starts up by showing the manufacturer logo, then shuts down, then starts up again)
and i didnt unlock my bootloader, and i didnt install CWM, no backups either
I only rooted the phone for the sake of chainfire, and when i installed it, it asked me to restart the phone and from there on the problem started.
I tried fastboot mode, but after 3-4 secs, the blue light disappears and the phone starts boot looping again,
I need help from you guys,

I would think that it would be the battery? give it a 10 minute charge and see if it starts
you do not need to turn your phone on for pccomapnaion to work.
Run pccompanion and run the software update and choose repair.
Only connect the phone when it prompts you

Turn it off, remove the back cover and press the OFF button until the phone shuts down. Repair it with Flashtoo, Update Service or PC Companion. DO NOT LET THE PHONE COMPLETELY DISCHARGE.
Use rebootfix.

You've bootlooped your device. You have to flash doomlord's kernel and boot into recovery and flash system gapps and flash new twrp and your phone will be in working condition

[Q] Won't turn on

Hi!
Yesterday i think i may have installed/flashed a kernel for 4.2.2 instead of 4.3 as my phone was running(if this makes any sense).
I am new to android and kernel, ROMs and rooting, so I don''t know exacly whawt I did...
Well, anyways... Now, if i charge my phone, it starts up to the Sony logo and shuts down, starts up to the Sony logo and shuts down, untill the battery is empty..
If I connect it to the pc, it connects, disconnects, connects disscontects and so on..
Any ideas of what I can do?
(sorry for bad english, but try to understand )

Try to connect your phone in fastboot mode.
Choose in flashtool fastboot
connect your phone while holding the volume up key
what happens?
Just flash proper kernel with proper fw via flashtool
Downgrade from 4.3 to 4.2.2
also will stuck in bootloop.
Flash 4.3 firmware exculed data partition, or flash 4.2.2 including data partition to start phone.

I solved it with Eryen's methode
I thought it was something like that, but i could not get my phone in flashmode, so i tried and tried, and eventually it worked

Flashtool you can start, because it's a programm for example windows.. anyway
Just a information for you: Always tell what exactly your problem is AND what you did or what happened. Because we do not know if you, for example, unlocked your bootloader or what you did wrong because we do not know what you have done. So tell us what you did step by step. Because if you learn what you did wrong, you will maybe not do the same failure again

So okay.. At start I unlocked bootloader, then I went to the recovery and flashed Cyanogen (then I got some error, i believe it said error=7) then I restarted recovery (and it didn't went to the recovery (it kinda skipped it), and I started getting bootloops, I connected the phone to computer, I entered flashmode or fastboot (can't remember which one), then I panicked, and hard-resetted the device (that was dumb as ****, i think that's the problem), and now i can turn it on (it keeps bootlooping though) but I can't enter either flashmode or fastboot and computer doesn't recognise the phone, it doesn't even see it.
I think the 2 mistakes I did was not flashing the new ClockworkMod (I flashed it in old) and then hardresetting while in flashmode or fastboot, but now I have no idea what shall I do...
Sry for not giving full information, ty for trying to help guys.
"Device disconnected" and literally nothing more after that. No matter whatever I do. I can't either enter flashmode or fastboot. Nothing. I can just turn on the phone and watch it bootlooping.

I'll get up earlier next morning and I'll try to flash kernel (can I get to recovery by flashing a stock kernel? can I flash a stock kernel now? should I flash it with flashmode or fastboot?) I have recovered fully my phone in CWM before flashing Cyanogen so I can recover this.
I think it's good that phone reacts to trying to get in flashmode. It may be a good signal.
Again thanks for help Sir.
Edit:
Btw not sure if it changes osmething but I have no red when I am charging and now I can't even start the phone. (3 red led blink)

Maybe something of your hardware is damaged. I really don't know, nothing works like you said. That is the reason why I would say it's something with the hardware..

I think it's due to hard-resetting while in bootloop. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170 I've read entire thread and I think the phone needs still a bit time to discharge... But i think 120 hours should be enough to discharge a 80% phone with screen mostly turned off.
Anyways thank you very much for helping and if you'll come with more ideas i'd be grateful.
Have a great day.
