Looks nice
I don't really see how that has anything to do with the Nexus 4...
it has more to do with advertising his Youtube channel I suppose
Crisp batteries guaranteed

Yeah he's one of my go to reviewers for Tech. He takes time to do a good job with his reviews. I like watching MKBHD & Flossy Carter.

He's a good tech reviewer. He does a lot about Android phones/features.
He was pretty much spot on as usual.
When you post, throw it in the tags so it is embedded:
He hit it spot on. Crappy camera and mediocre battery.
We all still love our Nexus 5's!

Spot on review imo.
He's popular on YouTube and earns thousands per week with his videos.
His reviews are the best. I've been waiting on this one! :good:
I love this guy, his videos are very professional.

Don't forget this is the same guy that said the Moto X was not real. Look for that video in his channel.
He is pretty good, but I prefer to get my tech news through Pocketnow

I saw that video a long time ago.. And at that time there was no real info about the Moto X so he said it like it was. There was no such thing as a Moto X at the time. Just floating rumors about a "BEAST" phone from Motorola.

Best reviewer I'm subscribed to!

As of god himself reviewed the phone... No matter how good reviews are idc I am the best judge of my own phone.
I like watching MKBHD, mostly because he's a like-able guy and he uses ridiculously high quality gear (cameras, etc). He's also a good editor.
But his reviews are really predictable. The Nexus 5 video intro was Coldfustion-like and I just don't see how his actual opinion is really all that unique.
Not dogging the guy (I'm subbed) but I think the shiny-ness of his silky smooth video quality and editing draws most in.
Regardless, he will get hired soon by someone big. And he just turned 20 years old. 20. I'm old.

Maru OS for Nexus 5

While surfing through the net I found something really interesting for our Nexus 5. It's titled as Maru OS by the original developers. It was the first time I heard about it, so I thought I'll paste it here so that people get to know more about it and if someone has used it, they might share the experience. What this amazing OS does it it turns your desktop to Debian Linux as soon as you connect your phone. That's something really interesting. Wanna know more? Checkout this link here.
If you wanna know about the hardware which the dev supports, try this.
Maru is open source, read it here.
Maru FAQ page for current users is here.
Note - I'm not the original developer. I'm just promoting the devs awesome work. I believe in Maru. Checkout the screenshots to see it yourself.
Check this blog entry: http://blog.maruos.com/2016/02/11/maru-is-open-source/
jay... the dev is making it open source...

Good afternoon, I asked and checked for a build with no success. Does it is only in the developer's hands?

We all are waiting eagerly, my friend. He said he'll give links to people in batches as to when they subscribed. I hope I'm not too far down the list.
I only signed up 10 days ago so I should be in the last batch but hopefully the batches are large and the site is capable of handling the traffic when the links are live
BTW
I been using Debian for the last 3 years on my PC so I'm really looking forward to having it instead of android for carrying round
Also i wonder if the Debian screen could be output via Chromecast/miracast think I will have to email and ask
Edit:
I just got my beta links but will need to download files read the documentation and flash it then I can come back with some first impressions but I'm still waiting for my slimport cable to arrive so can't test the Debian side for a few more days
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium HD app
First impressions are good not laggy ships with google play but no other google apps has a nice boot animation
Will upload that in a bit need to root it first
Now some screenshots
And no it does not output via chromecast
Also Chromecast app eBay and play music I had to install from play store

Congrats man. Sounds good. Yeah, it's very minimal. Did you try it on a desktop?
Not yet still waiting for my cable to arrive
Not sure if its because I haven't connected to a monitor or not but if its running Debian at the same time as android then I have yet to feel any lag or slowdown

No D/L
Heh, Im the exact opposite boat. I have the cable but no D/L link.
