SafeStrap on 4.1.2 not enough space to create slot1 - Motorola Droid Bionic

I factory reset a Bioinc running 4.1.2 and installed root and I have a safestrap 3.6.5 installed. When I booted into recovery and went to create Rom slot 1, I notice I only have 2.14GB of free on internal storage. I checked and re-factory reset so this is all the space for a custom ROM or am I missing a step? Is there a custom stock image I have to go install?
Thanks
EDIT** Fixed - Ran RSDlite and FXZ JB and now have 8gb internal storage again. So now I can root and rom it.

[Q] flash ICs custom rom from GB

I flashed GB rom KJ1 via PC Odin. Everything is fine except the key board saying null null. But that is ok beacuse I am not going stay in GB but planning to flash kingdoird 4.1.1. When I go to recovrey mode I can see all the options, such as wipe data and cashe. Also in advanced option wipe Dalvik cache and mountunt and storage format /cache,format /system,format /data and also the ROM KD 4.1.1 in external SD card. Therefore my question is since all option are avaiable to me in recovery mode and I am in GB rom, can proceed to flash the custom ICS rom, KD v4.1.1. Thanks
.
Custom ROMs usually require root access as well as the option to install a ZIP file from SD card/internal memory. Do you see such option as well? If not, you probably need to download a matching rooted kernel with CMW recovery console pre-installed. See here for a list, choose the one matching KJ1.

I can see the option Install zip from sd card and the rom file in sd card. The Recovery mod is CWM based recovery V5.0.2.7

[Q] Broken rom after clockwork backup restore

I have installed custom rom from zip and used it for several weeks.
Today I have decided to try new rom and I have made a backup trough CWM (6.0.2.5) in format .tar
I have tried to restore the backup. but the phone gives me a really strange error.
Encryption Failed. The system .. bla bla bla ... you need to reset your phone ..
I have tried to factory reset trough CWM, but the problem is the same.
I have tried to restore older backup ... the same error ...
Any ideas what is the problem and now to fix it (restore the rom)
I have tried the following ..
1. format /system /cache / data
2. install custom rom (CivZ v3.0)
3. take the setup wizard
4. reboot into recovery (CWM 6.0.2.5)
5. backup (.tar format)
6. restore from the backup
and .. the same error and no working rom ..
Can this be an internal SD memory problem ?
Any ideas ???
Anyone
Try backing up to external SD card. If that works, or you dont have an external SD card, backup and repartition your internal SD using AIO toolkit (choice 4 in the toolkit, then select the new unlocked ICS bootloader, and 512 MB system partition, or whatever your preferred size is, then run the internal SD fixer which follows that step) and try again.
The backup is on external SD
I have already repartitioned the internal SD with the default ICS layout (1.5G system)

Then try backing up to the internal SD and also try changing recovery to TWRP.
I have already tried TWRP but it cannot restore CWM backup
Currently I have stock rom , but I cannot rollback to the previous rom backup.
a few days ago I have used some app (found here in XDA) for optimizing internal SD .. is it possible this app to broke something in the internal SD ?

Hi! I assume that you were using the stock ics rom. Right? Stock ics use system partition as ext4 but data and cache are used as ext3. Since TWRP and CWM format data and cache as ext4 you cannot use your old backup of stock ics rom, unless you format both (data and cache) to ext3.
I created a zip which converts data and cache to ext3. Download from my attachment.
Flash the zip file then restore your backup.
Thanks :victory:
I will try

[Q] Encryption Unsuccessful

Hi, my brother gave me a used Droid Bionic which I successfully rooted and installed a custom recovery on (Liquidsmooth to be exact) using Safestrap recovery 3.11 but kept my stock rom in a slot.
So basically I now got a problem. I thought I'd try CM11 from the Cyanogenmod website (snaphot) when I created a new slot rom and try to install, I got an error. It was a failed process.
I thought I'd try again so I wiped everything Factory reset, data, cache...etc still failed..
Then I uninstall safestrap recovery using the stock rom and saw that I can use CWM like my other phone Samsung fascinate in rootzwiki. I followed this thread called [Guide] How to install ClockworkMod Recovery from adroidman
but before I installed the bionic boot strap, I made a huge mistake I formatted The internal 8 gb storage then I rebooted to see if that caused any problems and it did basically..
I deleted the /data and /sdcard because I formatted the internal storage and every time I reboot, I get a Encryption Unsuccessful message and it tells me to reset phone. I did but same message. Am I screwed?? I know I still have my stock rom in there but can't access it. Also every time I connect my phone I no longer see the internal storage instead my 32 gb sd card.

internal storage full after flashing a new rom

i9305 says internal storage full when i just flashed a new rom
Hi guys, I'm genuinely lost on how to fix this issue.
Essentially, my i9305, rooted- running pacman rom (stable) android 4.4.4, says that it's internal storage is full. however, I've just flashed the rom onto it. I have cleared the cache, dalvik cache and wiped the phone (through rom manager, cwm) and re-flashed the rom and it persists to say this. When i went though each folder and added the bytes up, i should've had around 9gb available, yet is says i only have 656mb.
I believe the issue lies in the "/data" partition, is it possible to wipe it?
Please help!!!

Are you make backup with TWRP (or cwm..or other recovery)?
Download Clean Master and find big files who kill your memory (after clean, uninstall app)

Flash twrp, full wipe, format data, install stock b638, factory reset with stock recovery, install twrp sgsin, full wipe than install persona's mod. That's it.
