[Q]Rooting NC, need some help

I am new to NC and this forum, just got my nc today, trying to root it.
I follow the guide on NookColor Rooting, but when I followed at
Boot up NOOKcolor with the microSD card.

I put in the sd card, plug in on my pc, wait for about 5 min, still nothing happens.
the new USB dev still won't show up in my pc
so I wonder where I did wrong, I follow the guide step by step. I am using win7 x64, is that a problem?

edit:nvm, it turns out my pc had some problem with front USB......

Try deleting applying the nooter image to the sd card when it is un-partitioned. I had similar problem and this solved it. After applying nooter image the sd card should open up shong four files when plugged into a pc

[Q][VZW]Why can't I format my data and cache?

I was trying to do the gingerbread on this new tab for my buddy. But, it failed and for some reason, I cant get it to do anything. Take a look at this picture and help me figure this out please.
If I can atleast get it back to stock, I can try to other methods, however, it wiped off the original bootloader and I cant find the bootloader anywhere.
Help! Please!

I have the same problem with my tab. I left it OK at the evening and the very next morning I found it dead with black screen. Restore mode didn't work either, so I decided to re-install the software. After installing the Gingerbread it cannot load properly always giving me the same errors.
At the service centre they told me that I need to replace the memory chip, because it's faulty. However, they didn't know the exact problem, because my device wasn't bought in my country.

Did no one know anything about this??? Just found my Tab dead after having ICS on it for nearly 2 weeks....pretty stupid. I'm stuck with all these "can't mount" errors. Nothing I've tried will fix this issue. Any insight would be appreciated on this matter.

Broken Digitizer Help need to recover pics

I have a friends Captivate that the inside screen is broken and not displaying anything. The touch screen is working but I cannot see what I am doing (I hear different sounds depending where I touch on screen . The touch icons on the bottom also work. He has pics of his kids on it that he cannot get back. If I had screen captures of usb mode I might be lucky enable mass storage on the phone. Can anyone help?

what do you mean by internal memory recovery? you mean stock recovery? or CWM recovery? what rom? what kernel?

The pictures are in the internal memory not on the micro sd card. I don't know any of the other info but it was never modded in any way.

swipe the status bar down
press where the usb message is supposed to be in PIC 1
press where the button is in PIC 2
folders should pop up on computer

Recovery Problem

Hello guys. Today wanted to switch to another rom and eventually get rid of my junk files(I formatted the SD card). I also wanted to flash CWM Touch. So what I did was formatting the SD card and flashing a new recovery (CWM Touch). Somehow my device got bricked. I tried to unbrick it through Odin but the problem is that my PC doesn't recognize the phone, even though I have the latest drivers installed. I can't enter the recovery mode either. However I can still enter the download mode. If I turn it on normally, this image would appear:

There is a solution. Look at wiki page for our phone...you need to flash bootloader...

I think the easiest is to flash via ODIN in the download mode a official image for our phone.

Well my problem was that my pc did not recognize the phone, so odin was useless. However somehow my pc recognized it after a lot of attempts. Thanks for your replies guys and sorry for posting in the wrong section.

Galaxy S5 G900FQ won't boot after root

Hello. Today i booted my S5. It wen't good and didn't face any problems doing it. After that, i removed some applications that i don't like with a program. When i was done with that, my phone kept giving me a strange error. I though i deleted something wrong and decided to repair it somehow. Downloaded FonePaw for Android to my PC and repaired my phone. During that, suddenly the program stopped and i disconnected my phone to the PC (i know that was a mistake). Now i can't boot my phone. Nothing happens when i try to turn it on. When i try to get to he download menu, Samsung logo stays in screen for 5 secs then an error pops up in the screen for about 1 sec :
