just follow Dr.Ketan http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997. He's got it all worked out. You'll see you have to flash a rootable ROM first, then root, then flash lc1.

Hey DrADP - good to see we are reading the same posts and both offer respect to Dr Ketan!
I used the guude from rootgalaxynote.com very easy and there is a video to show you step by step on how to do it

The easiest way to root your phone is to flash LC1 pre-rooted Rom.

Dr ketan seems to know all.I think he's a bit of a legend. I switched over from iPhone last year and was so impressed with Android and note. I'm loving this rooting stuff even more.much better than jail broken iPhone.

i think its because of the way you rooted it, try using a flashable zip, i think by nims11, worked perfectly for me, no restarts and stuff
could you give me a link to it sir..pls
and do i also have to unroot my samsung ace again? or just flash the new file?
so as far as ive browse the forum most of the posts said that your root file and CWM needs to be preferred by your android version or kernel version?....does it?
so here are some of my ace's info
model number: GT-S5830
android version: 2.3.6 (is this stock one?) \
Kernel Version: [email protected]#1 (not the stock one right? since i rooted my fone?)
Build number: GINGERBREAD.DXKT5
pls do give me the link to the right root file and CWM for my ace also do i have to unroot my phone since i rooted it already?
and also what ROM should i install? one with no lags and problems

Dont worry there are many ROMs which are stable. But try avoiding this question coz actually there are many ROMs and it's against the rules to ask such questions.
To find ROMs go to GALAXY ACE ANDROID DEVELOPMENT SECTION, there r many ROMs there, read the comments to know which one will suit you and download. Simple.

I just read this now,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=726334
and dint find any such rule. Also the thread above says "Off-site downloads are permitted if the site is non-commercial and does not require registration."
My blog is relatively very small and does'nt require readers to register nor contains any ads.
So i guess I am allowed to do so.
If you find anything contradicting do let me know.

If you get bootloop do 3 wipes via cwm recovery
if you can transfer files wihtout a cable look at my signature
if you want to unroot your device flash this UNROOT even you can flash a fresh stock rom via Odin and you'll lost root and cwm

i recommend you flash stock rom onto your device through odin first, as it will get rid of any root and stuff like that, and then flash these flashable zips, i have never tried unroot, i always reflash my rom if i need to do something
(i repeat for anyone trying to be a smartass and say it against forum rules and stuff, I DID NOT MAKE THESE FILES, I FOUND THEM ON A FORUM, WHICH I AM UNABLE TO FIND RIGHT NOW)

Hello XDA Members,
I bought a GS3 I9305 Model 2 Months Ago and I'm new to Android
Here's What I Want
I want a rooting guide for my phone including necessary backups like nandroid, /efs partition, custom recoveries...etc but mainly without flashing Custom Roms (I mean Only To Install root Apps).
But I want also the guide to teach the way to Flash Roms like CyanogenMod JellyBean 4.3.
Google Apps (Gapps) links For My Model and if i will need them if i root.
I am planning also to install ported apps on ROOT only phone without Roms is it possible? and how to do it?
As far as I know some ported apps are flash-able zips and others are being pushed.
I took a look in this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2344125
But it was in general so please don't post asking me to refer to similar threads
One Last Request I also want an identical Custom Rom Of TouchWiz based JB 4.2.2 fo my model that doesn't contain tweaks, and i think it will look similar to this http://s4tips.com/how-to/4-2-2-rom-for-galaxy-s3-brings-some-of-s4-functions-installation-tutorial/
Thanks.. Looking forward for your aid
If you search the forum it's all there. And There's no 4.2.2 Sammy based ROM for the i9305.

This is like going to your neighbor asking him to get you a large pizza, two coke and some chips. When someone wants something one gets it by himself.
Like everyone else, start learning by searching and reading. Youtube is also a great friend. If you're stuck after this it's something else.

Great, I deleted everything.
Ok once more time.
Download and install USB drivers for your device (you will get those with Kies.). (computer)
Download and install Odin. (computer)
Download pre rooted stock Odin package (search for this in development section of this device.). (computer)
Connect the phone with your computer, and flash the package with Odin.
That's it. Like that flash counter stays 0 and you have stock rooted ROM. Just unroot before sending it to warranty service.

Hey
did you find any solution for your problem?
I'm too experiencing the same thing.
stock rom ? factory reset or reflash ? more info
Hey guys,
I'm new here, so please excuse my tread if it's already opened or you guys already discussed about it, but I've searched everything to find a fix, nothing out there.
So, I'm having a Galaxy S6 Active and since a couple of days ago, my sim haven't been recognized. After a few hours of checking and re-cheking the sim, I finally realized that somehow... the IMEI number is missing. When I check IMEI is NULL.
So now I have Baseband version Unknown, NULL IMEI number and no Mobile Network Connection.
I'm not living in the USA, so I don't have AT&T.
If anybody can please help me, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot guys.
Andy
