I do have a courious problem with Google+ since February:
On my Z1 with the latest German firmware one week ago I received the message: internal memory more than 90% full.
I checked if after last firmware update photos are saved to internal memory, which was not the case.
I checked cache size in the system menu and found a huge amount of data cached (2,8GB!)
I fully cleared the cache, restarted Z1 and thought everything is okay now.
After 1hr Cache was again at 1,2GB.
Installed App Cache Cleaner and found out: Google+ fills up my internal SD with 1,2GB of cache data
Googled the problem and XDA and found a possible solution: Uninstall G+ update (reset to firmware version), wipe data, uninstall G+, wipe cache again, restart Z1, reinstall G+ from play store, restart Z1
............ whopp, again 900 MB cache in 1hr
Now I reset G+ to old version and cache stays with 3-4MB, BUT I had to change to manual app-update which is a pain i.t.a. since I have 245 apps installed and always have to manually update every single app except G+
Question: is this problem known for the Z1 and is there a solution
Funny: I have the same apps installed on my ZU with the same firmware-version and G+ latest version DOES NOT fill my cache .........................

I installed rom the wipe version of it
but all my old data are still there
apps are gone but there data folders still there
is it supposed to delete them or no cuz this is my first rom to install also
tried to factory reset but nothing happened
the folders in your internal sd card wich contain previously installed apps data will always stay
but the apps them self are not installed
so yes it did do a wipe
Greetings,
All of the sudden, I keep getting errors like this when attempting to install apps. Sideloading helps to migrate some of the problems, after trying much of the what that was recommended to fix this issue, as the following - none worked.
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik
uninstall market updates
clear market cache and data
Please advise.
On well...realised what caused the problem. Google utilise the cache partition for installing large app for some reason. But because I resized the partition table for ICS, this caused the problem.
Here's the fix:
http://jimmod.com/blog/2011/10/andr...ng-there-is-insufficient-space-on-the-device/
splhexeditor is simple way to resize partition if you have blackrose installed
normally there is no app issue unless you are on MIUI
glad you got it anyway
i9305 says internal storage full when i just flashed a new rom
Hi guys, I'm genuinely lost on how to fix this issue.
Essentially, my i9305, rooted- running pacman rom (stable) android 4.4.4, says that it's internal storage is full. however, I've just flashed the rom onto it. I have cleared the cache, dalvik cache and wiped the phone (through rom manager, cwm) and re-flashed the rom and it persists to say this. When i went though each folder and added the bytes up, i should've had around 9gb available, yet is says i only have 656mb.
I believe the issue lies in the "/data" partition, is it possible to wipe it?
Please help!!!

Are you make backup with TWRP (or cwm..or other recovery)?
Download Clean Master and find big files who kill your memory (after clean, uninstall app)
Could use some input...
I have lost push notifications for words with friends after clean flashing AOSiP rc7 and restoring apps using titanium. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get them back... I've done it all, clear cache, clear data, uninstalled, reinstall, wipe cache /dalvik reboot... You name it.
This isn't likely to be rom specific, as this happened once before (I usually just download from the play store after a clean install but tried to cut corners). Also, it seems to persist across clean installs. The only way that I've found so far is to format and reflash stock first. So I think that it's some token file stored somewhere on internal storage that is messing this up... Any ideas?
Ok so i know there were many threads like this BUT nothing worked for me.
so first of all i installed MIUI 7 on my XPERIA SP
installed gapps
and rebooted.
Logged to my google acc, tried to download facebook, messenger etc apps and got INSUFFICIENT STORAGE error, when i tried to install small app it promped me Error:0 (and in one version of gapps there was error:900-sth)
Storage status:
Internal 5.15 GB free
SD card 1.29 GB free
/cache 542MB (531 MB FREE)
wiped Cache and Dalvik-cache
cleared data and cache of Google Play Store and Google Play Services
installed several versions of gapps
reinstalled MIUI and gapps
found some script for re-creating (or sth) cache partition, implemented it in Android Terminal Emulator
set install location of apps to SD card with Link2SD
and probably did sth i forgot i did
AND NOTHING HELPS any ideas?
