Hi,
my wife got her new HTC One with Vodafone-ROM. I rooted the phone (no new ROM, still using Vodafone-ROM), uninstalled the bloat-apps (Titanium Pro) and installed and activated AdAway. For the first look, everything works fine.
But after a reboot the boat-apps are back and AdAway is disabled again.
How can that be? What can I do? Could there be an "auto-install" function in the Vodafone-ROM? Do I have to install a custom ROM?
Thx Nem.

does your rom suffers from the missing widgets problem every time you shut down and boot up again? i am asking because i tried already homebase and aura which have faux's kernel and both have the same problem... CM7 beta has a kernel that does not have this problem...
So I dl and flashed using the instructions you posted.
I originally had blue cronic installed and it seems like most of the ui from it was still running after reboot. Also all of the apps had a fc issue going on so I had to restore. Should I have to flash back to stock before flashing your rom?

I would assume so. The missing widgets problem appears to be linked to faux's kernel, which this has. In faux's thread even people on CM7 that use his kernel experience the widget problem.

It is no necessary to back to stock.
I had CM7 before. After Wipe data, cache, then install, no problem at all.
Lol did you remove the download link?
I'll try it again. Maybe I'll do a restore shook the way back to after I unlocked and rooted before flashing and see what happens.

So I restored back to stock and cleared/reset everything but still unlocked and reinstalled.
Out got stuck on the dual core boot loader over and over. Pulled the battery and restored again.
What it looked like was happening when I installed was an update and not a full rom? I downloaded the files you had posted, was it the right one at 7:00am this morning est?

SORRY!
This rom is probably for ME860
ME860 is china version of Atrix international,
Atrix international should be safe to use,
but not yet confirmed for Atrix 4G (ATT Atrix)

It is not your fault,
this rom is for ME860,
but Atrix international should be okay
can you release a version with stock kernel? i dont need to overclock, just want a stable deodexed custom rom... thanks!
Boot up success but I am using AURA ROM developer Diviance's updater-script. I must ask his permission to release!
BTW I try to reboot the phone to see if the widgets missing. Honestly, No problem with BlurHome launcher
The widget problem seems to occur at a random time. It took a few days worth of rebooting to happen to me on homebase. After it happened the only permanent fix was to revert to stock kernel.

I agree... Its not possible to restore stock rom on custom rom (because of ext partiiton). Though backup is possible through latest CWM recovery...

Disclaimer: Flash this ROM at your own risk. I am not responsible for what you do on your device. I left this stock to provide a base for anybody that wants to use it. Mod this rom how you want. Just please remember to give credit where credit is due.
This is a pure stock rooted rom. It has items like busybox, init.d support and so forth. No apps were added or removed. Both Odexed and Deodexed versions below.
This is using stock unmodified kernel from HTC. Kernel source can be grabbed from HTCDev

P.S. I hope we will see some custom ROM's (even kernels, huh) soon. I've got my HTC First for $190 on eBay and it's real bargain. Best 4.3" phone for that price on market.

Yes that's due to system protection in the kernel. Can't fix it till HTC releases kernel source. If you want to remove something you have to do it in recovery

Has anyone that flashed 1.08 either manually or via actual OTA lost LED function? Like doesn't show for charging or notifications?
EDIT: nvm. They put an option to turn it on and off in display settings

That option was there before too, but it reset it to "off" after updating. It's off by default in the shipped rom too, for some odd reason.

I unlocked my bootloader and installed a custom recovery. Then i intalled the supersu zip file and a custom rom. after that i found supersu and super user on my phone. Is it safe to uninstall one of them?
Yes it's safe to uninstall one of them but if you're not bothered which one you keep then I suggest uninstalling SuperSU.
I say that because I flashed back to a stock ROM a while ago and also flashed the provided rooting tools so that I could keep root access. Once I rebooted to stock, I installed SuperSU from the Play Store and decided to uninstall Superuser as I didn't need both of them on there.
Later that day I found out that I only had partial root access. I could use root apps like ROM Toolbox but I couldn't make any changes to /system.
In the end I reflashed the rooting tools so I could get Superuser back and everything worked perfectly again.
I'm not sure whether it was just a temporary problem with SuperSU or not but as long as you don't mind which you keep, that would be my advice

Luckily it all sorted itself out in the end so I'm back using SuperSU again

problem:I can't pull up air command and my most beloved live wallpaper is now unusable :crying:.
Background:I flashed azure rom to the first rom slot in safestrap everything was working fine but I wanted more customization, so I flashed hyperdrive rom to the second rom slot to test it.
where I am pretty sure I went horribly wrong: I desperately wanted youtube to have a black background, I looked all over for modded gapps for an android 4.3 touchwiz based rom. Finally, thinking that what I did in one rom slot wouldn't affect the others I decided it flash the modded gapps for slimbean :silly:. Finally I got bored and went back to azure rom and noticed the problems.
how I tried to fix it:
I tried wiping the test rom slot
I tried deleting the rom slot
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app
I tried rebooting
I tried booting into the stock rom
more information:
The wallpaper is vr tunnel max v2.1 and it force closes when I click use album art
