So now they are releasing branded before unbranded? What the hell! Thanks if you do FTF though I may try it or just wait for the unbranded version surely that can't be long
I will flash this one until there's an unbranded, rooted and deodexed version.

This happened with the first ICS update as well, at least in Hungary with T-Mobile But since then we always get the new fw one week later

2) Root and install a recovery

Nope. The .101 fw is for the LTE version, and if you flash this you might have some problems...

i got my c6906 on 14.2.A.0.290 ROOTED (i used this tutorial and latest su bin) i got the dual recovery installed and i received the OTA notification but everytime i try to downloa when reching 100% the update center shows COULD NOT DOWNLOAD, any ideas?
BTW my GF z1 has the same version but she could update by the normal way
what im i missing?

i experience this too.
but wat i do is to flash stock kernel, re-lock bootloader using flashtool.
Forgot to mention got locked bootloader and stock kernel :/

Do you know any way to root Xperia ZR 4.3 built 10.4.1.B.0.101 with locked bootloader? I'm searching for that but only see root for locked BL. I have some option if root for my built do not exist?

There is a way to root the 4.3 with the bl. But if u were saying about 1 click root it still doesn't exist.

There are few thread mentioning about pre-rooted. U guys should try that. At least it is safe for locked bootloader.
