I have a HTC One google play edition. I want to root my device so i can install custom roms. A few questions though, is it possible to root this htc one GPE? if yes, please show me a link to a turorial. Would sense 5 work on HTC one google play edition? Thanks.

Nah I was saying a ROM directly from HTC for HTC ONE to change it from SENSE to GOOGLE PLAY EDITION.
Has anyone heard or know of a Google Play Edition ROM coming sometime in the future for our sprint phones? Just curious thanks!
Someone needs to build it, like they did on the Verizon variant.

Yup, this is true. The HTC M7 (Sense version) won't be updated to 5.1. Your best bet is to grab a custom ROM with 5.1 & Sense :victory:, otherwise you'll have to settle for GPE/AOSP Roms.
