I seen on another thread dat u can take it out without having that problem
Also wen I do it is it supposed 2 show as secondary memory or just internal memory?
Think about it... apps to sd, apps on sd, run app with no sd card = no app to run. The extX partition will show as secondary if the rom supports that screen, yes.
ok heres a quicc question...
on the storage part.. can i remove the apks from the download folder (say if i downloaded from the web) since everything is stored in the partition.. can i remove from /sdcard/donloads/apps4mweb...or do i have to keep em in ther for the apps to run?

delete something in your sd card , do the check disk too.
i can't delete everything on my SD card... i have a lot of important thing inside him
if you have more than 3 backups, move 2 in a different folder.
i had the same problem. mine got stuck at dumping data. the only sollution was to format the sd card.

Some people fixed nandroid backup's problems by this way, try it yourself and tell us if it's work. Remember to backup your sdcard first.

[Q] how to view internal memory on windows?

I have a program on windows that can recover deleted pictures from any drive. I think I had some pictures on my internal memory that I want to try to recover. How can I mount the internal memory as a drive on windows? I am s-off and have clockwork mod.
It would be easier to backup 'User data ' , re flash the rom you lost data from and restore user data, than to recover some lost data from internal memory unless u have a pre existing backup IMO ...
EDIT: everything you download form the net, take pics from cam etc etc are stored on external memory... ie SD card ... just fyi

not sure what you mean about user data. I had pics on a memory card I wanted to move to another memory card, so i saved it to internal memory card.
Ic .. okay .. could you specify how exactly u moved it to internal memory and the location ?

i used ez file explorer with root permission. I moved it to /data or /.data not sure. Then I deleted it thinking I had moved it back to another sd card.
still looking for an answer to this :/
I see that clockworkmod lets you mount usb storage and you can see it on the pc. it also lets you mount /data..but you can't see it on the PC. Anyone know how I can contact the clokworkmod developer? I want to ask him if its possible to add the functionality i want.

Hi, if I understood you right, you can use MyphoneExplorer program to view the phone memory on Windows machine. Hope it helps you.
I guess My Phone Explorer can do the job for you.
Hello,
You can also try with Droid Explorer. It works for me.

[Q] Internal memory: read only?

Hi All
I have a problem on my T: when I access the internal memory with root explorer (for example), I can't (again for example) delete pictures from the DCIM folder. If I use my PC's file explorer, I can delete them, but they reappear a few minutes later in the phone...just like if the operation has not been done...
Another example: I can't take take screenshots, impossible to record the picture.
Is this a normal behavior?
Thanks in advance

Back it up and format the sd card. Its happened to me a couple of times (when changing from stock to CM roms) and this always fixes it.
the internal one? (I talk about it, not the ext-SD (which, BTW, is veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy slow and disconnect a lot when PC connected...))

Then you're really bad at searching, or didn't search at all; coincidentally after I suggested it you posted in a thread that shows the solution.
Install busybox then run the command again.
