I'm 100% stock. Android: 4.4, Sense: 5.5. Software number: 4.06.1540.3.
During the call either the screen remain on -no matter how I cover the proximity sensor, or it remain off -even if the phone in my hands. I tried using the "Calibrate G Sensor" option, it works sometimes for one call and then back again.
How can I fix this? I remember using an app years ago with an old phone that had better calibration and it worked.
I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

Did you tested the sensor with the HTC Function test program? (dial *#*#3424#*#*) and confirm if its an hardware or software issue.
Btw you didn't updated your phone to 4.06.1540.4?

I just received the update notification now, and downloading it as we speak. Could you please provide me with the update URL? I like to keep the update.zip to my computer and I also like to extract recovery.img from it. As usual thanks a lot for your help @alray
Also for future reference, how to do I save the OTA update.zip that's being downloaded? Is there a way to grab the OTA update.zip URL to share? It was possible on my old Galaxy Nexus -I don't really remember how.
Any news on what's new with this update?

unfortunately I don't have a download link for the file. You can pull the ota file from /sdcard/download irc, not sure.
The update brings android 4.4.2, cloud printing, some bluetooth enhancements, patched the SMS DOS vulnerability and removed flash player support.

Some say it isn't possible, because of the radio version.
Thats not it at all. HBOOT was updated, and as such, keeps the RUU from working.
However:
Anything is possible with Android.
http://androidforums.com/all-things...16-how-revert-back-earlier-version-hboot.html
This method will allow you to remove the OTA by using RUU leaks we already have. I did it myself last night after messing up my phone trying to flash an old radio through clockwork
Read: Its not a radio issue that would keep you from updating, its an HBOOT version issue.
720p OTA Leak:
CID:VZW__001
ROM:1.36.605.0
You need to use the older OS version if you want to revert to an older RUU, I believe. Not sure the CID matters either. The img file I provided that worked, I used HTC_002.

Sweet, didnt know if it did or not.
I am taking a bit of leap of faith here, but I think it all gets overwritten by the RUU anyway.

Hi Guys,
I have a Sensation XL with the following specs:
Android Version: 4.0.3
HTC Sense Version: 3.6
Software Number: 2.31.401.2
Kernel Version: 3.0.16-gc297c99
I can't send or receive any files via bluetooth. When i try to send anything it says sending file but then nothing happens. I've made sure my device is always discoverable and still cant receive anything even from paired devices. Whenever i try to receive a file it just says sending failed on the phone i'm trying to send from. have tried to send and receive from various phones and pc's but nothing. All out of ideas now!!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanx.

If its stock firmware I doubt an app would be able to do as it does not have root access, but then again I don't think it could be a hardware error, have you rooted/ unlocked bootloader?

i tried to use the gpe launcher, as i did in my gpe for moto x, but it force closed on the razr m, so i stayed with the stock homescreen and customized the home config.
i also wanted to keep it to be able to use the circles widget if desired, as it won't work on any other launcher.
you might try side loading the google launcher; it seems to be fully functional now...

Not sure what you're saying about ap fastboot.
As for loss of touch screen control, sounds like maybe you didn't wipe data after flashing this?
Also, if you haven't upgraded to 4.4.2 prior to flashing this, you should flash the official fxz linked in the op first. Flashing the official fxz will update everything, including bootloader and baseband, which may be necessary for everything to work properly.

Thanks, I did it stupidly from 4.1.2
It actually helped my phone to be able to update. After doing the update to 4.4.2 it removed the ap fast boot sticky (Basically, every time the phone booted it went to ap fastboot, which I see now was a safety measure).
Going back to an reinstalling it with the phone already on 4.4.2 was key and solved all of my issues. Thanks.
i updated the build again, new links and md5sum are in the op.
-changed "play store" homescreen page template to "on the go" page template (see screenshots)

That's a KitKat thing. Try this to fix it:
http://trendblog.net/fix-kitkat-sd-card-write-restriction/
What I have here is a stock KitKat Firmware for theGalaxy Tab S model SM-T707A that I pulled from kies when I was trying to upgrade to lollipop a few months back. I have successfully reverted from the newest Lollipop BOE5 back to kitkat using Odinv3.09, and from there you can successfully root with https://www.kingoapp.com/ as I did successfully on the first try. I have looked in every forum that is available on xda pertaining to this tablet and have not found a single thread stating that anyone has successfully reverted from Lollipop back to KitKat so they can successfully root. Well here it is FINALLY!!! At a later date I will upload the Lollipop firmware, but since there is no known root for it yet I likely will not be doing so anytime really soon. Anyone can pull the firmware themselves using my guide of reverting back to KitKat and then pulling the Lollipop firmware manually from kies while your tablet is in download mode by using this guide: http://androidforums.com/threads/how-to-backup-firmware-from-kies-upgrade-process.458795/ (Assuming AT&T still has the firmware in their servers)
Now in case anyone asks, this does not trip knox since it is an official firmware signed by samsung. The process is very simple, just open up Odinv3.09 and input the 4 files within each tab accordingly. The 4 files are labeled in correlation to each slot in Odin so please use your noggin and don't ask me where to put the files individually. Put your tablet in download mode by turning it off first, then pressing the home button volume down and power button at the same time. You'll get a message that says press volume up to put the tablet in download mode, then just plug it in (assuming you have already downloaded the Samsung drivers to your computer) and press start. When the process is finished you would have successfully reverted back to KitKat from Lollipop with Knox still at 0x0. I hope this guide will help anyone with this wonderful tablet as you can do what you want now without worry of bricking your device for some reason.
Firmware version: KitKat 4.4.2
Build number: KOT49H.T707AUCU1ANH9
Baseband: T707AUCU1ANH9
Model: Samsung-SM-T707A
EDIT: 7/11/16
So I borrowed an AT&T sim from my friend and I have successfully pulled the updates for Lollipop. There are 2 updates and you have to do them both separately one after the other. I made it as a simple ZIP file for you to just throw it on your external SD and boot into recovery and select the option for apply update from external sd card. Now it has to be named Update.zip and since there are 2 updates to get to lollipop I named the first one Update.zip and the second one which is the actual lollipop Update2.zip. You have to be sure and rename the second one to Update.zip after you have already flashed the first one via Recovery. I tried updating the second package by itself from a fresh install of KitKat ANH9 and it game me a bunch of errors and just reset my device. So i think in order to take the lollipop update you have to be on the ANK1 (the first Update.zip) firmware before you can take the lollipop BOE4 (the second Update2.zip which you have to rename to Update.Zip). Please back up all of your data as this method will reset your device after applying each update. Hope this will help anyone (especially outside of the country) to manually update to lollipop if you do not get the OTA

As I mentioned in the post I probably won't be upgrading to lollipop anytime soon since there is no root for it yet. I had to borrow my buddy's ATT sim to even get the lollipop update in the first place as I am using it with t-mobile currently. I'm thinking of replacing them with ATT sometime in the near future since i will be going on a trip and need quality coverage where i'm going. Until then I would suggest either purchasing a sim from Amazon and paying for service for 1 week at a cheap price so you can pull the update and maybe intercept it to use for your own leisure, or wait until I go on my next trip:good::good::good:

Are you on lollipop? Also you sure your doing this for the ATT SM-T707A? I've done this on my tablet several times to confirm that this works.

Yes it's AT&T unit, T707A. On 5.0.2. Everything lines up but it fails. I'll try to download the files again. Maybe something corrupted. Thanks

The new Android File Host link is up for you with freshly uploaded firmware. Please let me know which download link you used (the potentially corrupted one) so I can take it down and fix it
