Hi there, I would like to ask if Samsung S3 mini is compatible with Samsung Gear. According to the official website for the Samsung Gea, it only supports up to 17 devices as listed below:
1. Samsung Galaxy S5
2. Galaxy Grand 2
3. Galaxy Note 3
4. Galaxy Note 3 Neo
5. Galaxy Note 2
6. Galaxy S4
7. Galaxy S3
8. Galaxy S4 Zoom
9. Galaxy S4 Active
10. Galaxy S4 mini
11. Galaxy Mega 6.3
12. Galaxy Mega 5.8
13. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)
14. Galaxy NotePRO (12.2)
15. Galaxy TabPRO (12.2/ 10.1 /8.4).
The question is, does it really limited to all these devices? and it is not depends on the Android version of the running device?
My phone, i8190 N-variant, is currently rooted, running on Cyanogen 11 Android version 4.4.4.
Can I do anything about it? I need to get a smartwatch that is able to use along and be programmed with my phone. I need it for my project purpose, to write an application that make use of a smartwatch as input data.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

short answer is no
currently it is not supported by default
however
with a CM ROM and some other useful tricks found in the right sections of XDA with a bit of searching you could get the samsung galaxy gear working with your S3mini
Right, so recently, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 T810 (which has the same chipset as the Galaxy Note 4 N910C/H) has received the official Android 7.0 Nougat update from Samsung (https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/general/7-0-sm-t810-manual-install-t3585044). This is AMAZING news for those of us using an N910C/H (Exynos variant device) as it means that a port for Android Nougat from the Galaxy Tab S2 to the N910C/H is possible!!

Hi, I have the original Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" SM-T217T running Android 4.4.4. Is there a more modern ROM I could install on it? I've found plenty for Tab 2, but what about the older model?
has how to install ubuntu touch on galaxy a10?
Hello, could anyone make an ubuntu touch port for the samsung tab 4 7.0 please?
I would want to make some use of the device by running ubuntu touch because android got discontinued for the tab 4 7.0 at android 4.4.2 which is very old now and not suppprted by anyone.
Thank you
