Hi all. I am using SGSA Jellybean 4.1.2 official. As the jelly bean lags i wanted to downgrade to gingerbeard. I tried to do the so by odin and during the process something happened and Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies & try again is the display. No samsung logo is showing. please help to upgrade to jellybean official. I tried to recover the same via Kies but "GT-I9070 doesnot support initialization" is the error msg. Kindly help guys.
Thanks
Can you enter in Download Mode?
If YES, then try to reflash again stock jelly Bean firmware.

I got this " Warning - A custom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications. If you want to download a custom OS, press the volume up key. Otherwise, press the volume down key to cancel.
Then press vol up key, connect phone with pc and flash jelly bean using odin.

don't worry, the link I posted contains the same files ,but I think this method is the simplest.
1º Getting root, flash this file via stock recovery (shutdown your phone and push HOME+POWER button until you can access to stock recovery mode)>>> select "apply update from SD card" and flash this file ROOT
Boot intro android and then shutdown again and go to stock recovery again (HOME+POWER button to access)
2º CWM recovery >>> select "apply update from SD card" flash this file CWM 5.0.2.6. FIX
Physical buttons
VOLUME+/- to move through recovery mode
HOME to acept install the select file
POWER to go back
DONE!

C. Flashing the newest firmware:
Turn off your phone
Remove your SIM Card and SD Card
Extract previously downloaded firmware
Open ODIN 4.38 on your PC and change OPS file name to
Code:
Cooper_v1.0.ops
Select from extracted archive: OPS-OPS, Boot-APBOOT, Phone-MODEM, PDA-CODE, CSC-CSC (leave EFS and One Package empty)
If archive contains only <filename>.tar.md5 select it as PDA and OPS as OPS, leave other fields EMPTY
Connect your phone via USB into PC
When the screen is turned on hold POWER+VOLUME DOWN+HOME and wait until the phone enters the Download Mode
If ODIN detected and recognized your phone should light up the first square to the left side
Press "Start" button and wait, the process should take ~5 minutes
If all goes well your phone should reboot automatically
Square should change the color to blue and display "PASS" it means that flashing process was successful and we have the newest firmware
Disconnect your phone
Turn off your phone
Insert your SIM Card and SD Card again
Turn on your phone
Now you have the newest firmware!
You can find latest firmwares HERE, IMO Spanish FOP rom (KTM 2.3.6.) is the best, but can choose what you want

Since I am unable to reply to the above post, putting my query here...
How can I unroot my phone back... I could not find any guides to that effect.
Any help would be very useful. Awaiting for some direction in this regard
Thanks and Regards

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. But this guide looks to be of 6102 and I am with 6012.
Caution : Both files are related to each other, If rooted with "update.zip" from here then only use "unroot.zip"
The above caution message is there in the guide. Since I have rooted my phone using Cydia Imactor will using the unroot.zip break by mobile ?
Just worried.
Thanks & Regards

I have got the jelly bean image(4.1.2) of my mobile GT-6012 which I had downloaded following the guide the link which I had posted in my first Q post.
If I follow the same procedure which I did to upgrade from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2 with odin I should be ok without root. Is it ?
Will try that tonight...
Thanks and Regards

The only improvement I see is that Android adding more restrictions to the OS.
