Anyone else having problems where bluetoothe shows headset profile so it treats your phone like a speaker only I tried everything now when I get a call the watch don't ring only the phone when I accept it then it comes out on the watches loud speaker. Not sure what's going on but maybe someone else had this problem and solved it.I am using the latest gear manager and latest firmware on a sony z ultra with GPE rom.
Update I think I can narrow the fault down to the very latest firmware which I flashed and now it's time to go one step back to previous firmware MK7 even watch styler don't work on latest firmware samsung have done something to break all things in latest firmware.
Update doing some further testing it's not the firmware it's the vershion of gear manager that destroys most things I recommend to install v1.6.111801 things seen to be working fine even watch styler but remember when installing watch styler make sure your gear and manager are connected when installing the Apk file that's important.

Hi people,
I am facing a problem that is driving me crazy and i need all the help i can get.
I have flashed my Gear 1 with TizenMod v2.0, but what i am saying also applies to stock Tizen versions NF1 and 700XXUCNE9.
I have set up the watch by connecting it with an HTC One running the GearManagerStub as we all as the Gear Manager according to the following thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2780493
Everything (that can work on an unrooted HTC One) is indeed working.
However, i want to use the Tizen Gear 1 with my iPhone 5S.
So i go to BT settings on the Gear, turn BT off (so that it disconnects from the HTC One) and then make it visible.
I then search (and find) the Gear from my 5S settings and when i try to pair the two the Gear pops up a message saying that it need to reset to factory defaults before it connects to another device. If i let that happen and then try to connect the iPhone, it does indeed connect as a Handsfree device but other than that i am locked in the video splash screen with directions on how to connect. That means that i cannot use the watch at all, apart from the basic handsfree functionality.
The odd thing is that i have been using the watch (stock Tizen 700XXUCNE9 ROM) with my iPhone 5 and a 5S in the past (meanwhile i downgraded to Android for some tests) and i cannot remember having that problem.
I also tried to connect the Gear (after being set up with the HTC One) with an iPhone 4 (no BLE support) and it DOES CONNECT without presenting that God damned "reset to factory defaults" message!!!
I know that the Gear (Tizen OS) does indeed work with the iPhone 5S. I have done it myself (see this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2789095) and there is a thread on the Gear 2 forum where member @skeamznz claims the same http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2722069), therefore i am not (completely) crazy and imagining things.
Can someone help regarding my issue? Could someone with a Tizen running Gear try to connect to an iPhone > 4S and get back?
All help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance!!
Anyone?

Found it at last! I had installed the Air Blue Sharing Cydia tweak which is apparently somehow messing with the BT stack. After I uninstalled the tweak, I was immediately able to connect to the watch.
Just in case anyone is interested.

This is the situation -
Original Galaxy gear upgraded to Tizen. Everythign up to date, even a post upgrade download.
Just about everything works better.
Though microphone is very very poor. People say it sounds as though I am far away when using Gear. Original gear microphone was never great but it worked.
Voice memo can record but only just., very faint.
Svoice no chance. Even if I speak loudly into gear. Does not even make the microphne icon flash when speaking.
Speakers fine, music player fine, ringtones fine. I do like the ability to download additional apps.
Everything else works.
Reset, removed downloaded apps in case something was locking microphone. No change.
Is this a known problem after upgrade.
Robert.
So I recently just got my Gear updated to 6.0.1. I had a hell of a time doing it too. The watch came shipped with a developer rom attached. Had to reboot many times to get it working using the Watch Tool. Then updates. Oh lord the updates.
Anyways, I get it to the latest firmware, and now, my phone and watch don't seem to be communicating correctly. There's no cloud or anything to give the idea that it's disconnected, but I can't do searches, can't sync my music or get my watch to connect via wifi since it has to use the phone to do so. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
EDIT: The phone and watch are paired. Forgot to mention that. Going into the phone's bluetooth settings, I can easily see the watch paired to it. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S3.
After getting 6.0.1 you want to forget the watch from the gear app. This will reset everything and start pairing again. Should fix the problem
Before I start, I wasn't really sure what section this was supposed to go in, so excuse me if this is the wrong section.
So recently i've been trying a few things
first of all, I wanted to connect my OnePlus One to my Gear 2 Neo, which, at the time, had the Stock OS. My opo had Android 4.something and it succeeded. However, when I updated my phone to Android 5, it no longer worked. I waited quite a while, and just didnt use the watch at all. After a while I found out that I could change the OS my watch had, so I installed Android Wear. It did a pretty good job, apart from some things crashing all the time. One problem Android Wear has though; I couldn't directly call from my watch nor could I use the Watchon Remote app that was on Tizen. So I decided to install the stock OS on my watch. I also noticed that Samsung had released Gear Manager for Non-Samsung phones. So I thought it would work, however, whenever I try to search for the watch, It doesnt find it.
Here are the questions:
Is there any way to take the Watchon Remote from Tizen and somehow install it on Android Wear? ( If yes, second answer doesn't need to be answered (Also, I know that there is some kind of IR blaster but it doesn't seem to work for the kind if device I use)
If not, how do I connect my OnePlus One to my Galaxy Gear 2 Neo with the new Gear Manager app?
Is it possible to modify Android Wear, making it possible to use a dialer on my watch, and use it as a phone?
I really hope someone could help me out because this has really been bothering me lately.
Thanks in advance,
Raeeh.
i dont think you can port the apps from tizen to AW and the speakerphone in AW doesnt work yet. Thats the one thing in tizen i miss
I loaded the latest pie last night.
Now Samsung gear won't connect to my Galaxy watch.
Message "check your system files for update"
This must have been left off this beta build.
Anyone been able to connect to their watch on pie?
Mine is working fine. I have the 42mm BT Galaxy Watch. I have noticed that BT streaming music is a bit choppy but not sure that is the watch affecting it.
Download the gear s plug-in from apkmirror
didnt seem to help
