[Q] JellyBean Firmware? RegionLock Away...

Where can I find a jb firmware so I can unlock my phone with regionlock away? I've got T-Mobile and MetroPCS, so really need to unlock this puppy. I looked in the developers section and only saw past modems, didn't see any past firmware rom's.
Thanks
Region lock only works with firmware ending with "mi9" if you're on any other firmware you can't downgrade and must purchase an unlock code. Or you can try calling the carrier.

Unlock/Root Samsung Note 3 (SM-N900A)

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I used to have AT&T as a carrier for the phone, now I do not have a carrier. I want to unlock my phone and preferably not pay for it I tried the method outlined at android and me and several other site, ( it involves using the number *#197328640#)
I was unable to use this method because I could not find a UMTS menu.
The only other way I found to unlock the phone was to root it. I wanted to use Odin and CF Auto Root to do but I could not find a version for my device, (Samsung-SM-N900A).
Do you guys have any suggestions for me?
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum.

Im in the same place need to Root At&t galaxy note 3 5.0 N900a where can I find the files
You can only network unlock the phone with a code.
As far as I know, all of the note series is carrier unlocked. if it's not, you have to call your respective carrier and ask them to unlock it. Rooting your phone is another story. I just got off live chat with Samsung and they can't remove the bootloader lock on my OC2 N900a. This will prevent me from buying any other samsung product in the future, not even considering the note 7 b.s.
The n900a is an at&t phone and pretty much every at&t phone is carrier and bootloader locked. Same goes for sprint and Verizon.
Didn't realize oc2 also had the n900a as I thought the U.K. And Europe had the n9005.
Most of the note phones sold by a carrier are network locked.

need help with my used note 3 sm-n900a

Hi. i have just purchased an note 3 from a person who used to live in the us. the phone is at&t branded but open for all sim cards.

1. i cant get norwegian language on the phone but i can get it on the keyboard.
2. the phone says that android 4.4.2 is the up to date firmware.
this is the sm-n900a version at&t
anything i can do? my norwegian note 3 has android 5.0 on it and all.
can i port this phone to note 5? that would be awsome
please help me
The n900a has a locked bootloader so you can only load touchwiz-based ROMs using safestrap.

Yes, you should be seeing a "enter code" sim lock screen. T-mobile uses a unlock app. if your phone was unlocked before on t-mobile it can be unlocked after you flash back to t-mobile firmware.(and may need to run the unlock app).
I have gone back and fort on 2 of my SM-G920T phones between t-mobile and other firmware including the metro PCS SM-G920T1 one so it should work to go back.
Sounds like you need to re-download the stock t-mobile firmware and flash in odin.

99% sure will be locked again once you go back to t-mobile as they use an app to authenticate.

If it was unlocked before on t-mobile you should be good. most you would need to do is run the t-mobile unlock app. just make sure you have a twrp backup just in case you need to go back to the rom that is working.

[Q] Is it possible to install Bell N900W8 on an AT&T N900A?

I'm afraid to try, but assumed they're both the same device. Anyone tried or can confirm?
The n900a has a locked bootloader so it is not possible.
