[MOD] Navigation keys Zenyth Blue

Copy this file to /vendor/overlay then reboot and voila you'd have changed ur softkeys.
These are Zenyth softkeys that can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1669169
I tried to apply them to our XZ by all methods possible but all efforts were in vain so i tried the overlay method and success at last :victory:.
All credits go to @arzbhatia and @Terenn .
I've hardly done anything, i'm a total noob
Rename the white apk to 'SystemUI-aosp-buttons-overlay'

Good job. Done a few myself. Easy modding.

I'm using it on romAur and it works.
Make sure you've copied it to root/vendor/overlay and not to system/vendor/overlay.

That's the one stupid Me haha

Check ur build.prop for 'qemu.hw.mainkeys=1' and remove it if present.
Copy to overlay and reboot.
Also there is no need to change permissions.

I'll try to get the status bar background working.
I don't really like transparent status bar cos it looks weird in most apps, still i'll try to add it after i'm done with the background.

I make a HTC one mod for Xperia ZL.
For this i need a transparent Statusbar or a other background.
But my Laptop is Crashed.
I hope you can do that.

Decompile, add image and add to public.xml. Note, use same image name as in systemui.apk.
I done this so I could have a on off status bar handle like this

As far i tested it is compactable with De-odexed Roms which are based on Stock Build..dont know about CM Based and Honami Based..Testing it would be appreciated -cheers-

Yeah sure,. For the nav bar I used softkeyz which you can get on play store,. And the icons are from icon pack from play store too but too install on stock browser you need xposed and Icon themer

Ps. Soft key z won't work for monx rom,. Well it does if you install busy box but you loose twrp., confuses me lol

Doesn't work on my ZL, I tried pushing it through and fixing permissions yet it just wasn't successful xD Either way I was going to ask if you mind giving me permission to possibly port this mod for the ZL ?

The Systemui works on ZL..idk about Home Launcher.

Herez My First modified and custom theme for ours Xperia Z
It would be installed altogether different so dont worry

Installation
Install Normally:victory:
if it doesnot work on any other xperia 4.3 devices than install zip signer from playstore and signed it via platform keys it will be installed
This is the initial release i wil keep on updating the thread and modifying the themes and adding more and more themes

no, i dont installed xposed.
reinstall and reboot doesnt changed the soft keys. only changed the wallpaper.

it might not be changing because i am on existenz rom and existenz framework wouldnt be supported for you try zip signer and you are on stock xperia z 4.3 right??

Everything is working but you have to be rooted.
And stock ROM, without root just don't want to apply custom themes.
We have exactly the same problems on Z1.
I just try this and it's working great on Z1

Or media - it'll give same results.
But there's no need for that.
If you're rooted you can just install it or move it to system/app and restart.
For some reason it works only on rooted devices.

you can read @funky0308 tutorial and i will modified most of the steps are correct for decompiling but to decompile zip files it pretty different procedure as you cannot modify the .9.png without knowing the bordering in order to do that take any apk as example and copy resources.arsc , androidmanifest and res folder from android.zip to that dummy apk which has meta inf folder only nothing else and copy the said files and decompile that apk than only you would be able to modify the .9.png and @funky0308 method wont work for .9 png which has bordering its actually very easy once you get used to it and u have to decompile all the zip folder in the same way else you would not have perfect and elegant modification and for normal png @funky0308 method wil work

Android 4.3 Themes ?

Hi there so sony have released changable themes in 4.3 release but why i can't find any installable theme in forum ? only root needed with ones i like did there are hard to make.apk just to install theme or there are any tutorial how to make theme by my self ? i would be really thanks full if some one find one .

If you've checked the Themes and Apps section and it's not there then it probably hasn't been done, some others are on the playstore too.
If you don't see it then it's not been done

ahh, unlucky m8, keep trying, ask some of the other theme dev's for help, they're a friendly bunch, just let them know where you're up to, once you've completed your first theme you'll know the steps, there are some pretty good guides in there which are understandable.
Next time i've got a bit of time from work i'm going to make a dark one myself, as there isn't one.
