Hey guys,
There are a lot of Kit Kat roms out there that claim to have native hotspot working.
I'm looking to see what people's experiences are and to see if there really is one that is stable I could use on a daily basis.
It's the only internet I ever use at home.
Current setup is the latest 4.3 Stock with Goodies.

I'm using CM11 nightly, and it has hotspot native in it, and it works fine. i'm using it right now to type this. and it doesnt show on your data usage on your phone, but does show on your data usage on your bill.
I had it working on4.3 but for some reason not 4.4.2 ...I'm just trying another Rom now (superonek) and it works on 3g...I'mgoing to try 4g in the morning when I get to work

Hmm, when I was running ecliptic it wouldn't4g tether...but I'm trying superonek and 4g tether works

I bought my SGA(L) with Gingerbread installed. I'm currently using Apocalypse final (link2sd, swapper... the works) and am very satisfied with it. But I've never used Froyo and curiosity is killing me.
Can someone point to a late development, stable, flashable Froyo? Just for fun, as I said.
Edit: c'mon guys; don't make odinize a rom. I've looked up but can't find anything. Any flashable Froyo ROM?

I have managed to acquire the EE cash on Tap- contactless payment App. This App was only released to work on S3 Lte, S4 and Xperia SP. I have tried to install the apk which was backed up by my friend from his S4 but it does not install. Can someone have a look at it and figure out a way to get it working on H1.

It will only work on the supported devices - cash on tap validates your phone's firmware (amongst other things) and then allows you to download the tap wallet, which enables the NFC service. Apparently the tap wallets are device specific.
I own an SP and I can't use ths on custom firmware (though I got around this by restoring a working backup that had been installed on stock firmware).
Well I left my phone on charge while I went to the store and I come back to the a message saying I can not update because I am rooted. Here is a screenshot of it.
What do you guys think it is?

I'm not really worries about the message. Last time I was able to update it and I was rooted. I just really want to get opinions on what this means.

Is there a stock 4.3 rom available for international active? I've seen the at+T have it I can't Ota as I rooted.
I should probably uproot and check? Any advice is welcome.
I'm after the update as I want ant+ functionality.

Set up kies today and check and it states I am on the latest FW. I'm confused as I can find posts on the Googlewebs that says both AT&T and European handsets have 4.3 as well as 4.4. I've attached a screen of my device. Any advice would be awesome. This Samsung device is about to most confusing device I've owned firmware wise and modding .

No, Samsung released 4.4.2 after 4.2.2, there wasn't any 4.3 versiyon. But ATT sgs4 active has that.
I took the plunge and installed the 4.4.2 nordic rom from samobile. Seems to work fine after an initial glitch with a few bits but was fixed by wiping.
