Hey guys (I'm sperman on the IRC), I just learned theming today, so I decided to mix my two favorite themes - Adiliyo's Darkstar and Retrokid223's (I think, please correct me if I'm wrong) GB Black V2. I integrated the notification icons (except time & battery) and the lockscreen sliders from retro's GB with the darkstar theme. All else *should* be the same as darkstar, but it did the theme quickly, so you never know . Check it out -
Update v3
-GB battery
UPDATE V2
-Includes honeycomb app icons (and some app themes) from nitsuj17's honeycomb theme and also darkstar

Remember to flash the DL09 theme fix if on a DL09 ROM. That fix is here (thanks adrynalyne). Flash Darkstar GB then that fix immediately after.
Download v3 with GB battery here (link fixed)
Download v2 w/ honeycomb app icons here
Download v1 w/o app changes here

Flashing now!
Running this since last night. Looks good man

Awesome. You just merged my 2 favorite themes together! The only thing I would change is the battery, as it really breaks the flow of the surrounding gray/green.
mind, I'll change batt when I get home today, about 9:30, it'll be out.

Sperman- the V3 you posted has the exact same file name and exact same content as V2. Probably a simple oversight while uploading. Happens to me all the time.
it was a battery change. are you sure its the same? I uploaded via my phone and dropbox, so there is a potential for error

Yes. I flashed twice and in both instances the original battery from version 2 showed up.

Okay, I just got home & reuploaded. I had edited the theme in school and had to upload on dropbox mobile, and I selected the wrong file. V3 is a go

I saw this, and all I could think was "its about time". LP widgets are very functional but not very pretty

The new version of LPP hasn't even been released yet so there are only a couple of themes. And even those themes are just beta version. But your best bet on finding themes at this point is to watch Fede's Launcher Pro forum herehttp://www.launcherpro.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=7385
Yeah, that's the place I've been lurking

Okay i was asked to post my custom theme i made for the liquid v2.6 aosp rom. I spent alot of time editing the frameworks, systemUI's and certain apk's to get this look. It is a collection of themes and png's i have found throughout the web.
This theme will work on the liquid v2.6 rom, not tested on other aosp roms so use at your own risk. IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BLOWING UP YOUR PHONE!
In this theme you will get:
Themed dialer/contacts.
1% Custom battery mod.
Black calculator.
Custom signal & 4g/3g icons, system icons...etc.
Droid eye bootscreen.
Black camera... also uploading the miui camera if you want.
Transparent pulldown with themed power widget bar.
Themed clock/alarms.
Themed setting menu.
Honeycomb style lockscreen.
Much more...
*Credits go to me and all the themers out there for this!
Just put the zip on your sd card, flash from recovery and wipe cache & dalvik before reboot. To install the miui camera apk just put on your phone and install with root explorer.
Enjoy!

Is there any way to install magiclocker in our phone. It is available on market but: shows magiclocker is not compatible with your phone.
Usually, when market says that an app cannot work on my ldpi phone, I download the latest version's apk from google and it works perfectly almost ever
PS. What app is Magiclocker?
The app works on our device I tried it but I did not liked it. If you want to try download it via 4shared.com it is available there

I've tried it too for the same reason, but it lags really bad. Some themes are fine, with custom shortcuts but kinda useless. I recommend you to try Widget Locker that has now ICS theme like and also you can customize your lockscreen how you want. I think there is a beta now FFA but you can also buy it
Ya its very laggy and rough.Thank you for your suggestion.I'll try widget locker.

??
how to use it ?
With emanon i can download it but it is really laggy on our phones. Even the simple lockscreens lag, i dont like it.
I think it doesnt show in the market because it is not suited for the mini and the developer doesnt want bad reviews from the lower end device users.

I was inspired by digitalhigh's icey theme but realized that there are never any good red themes for miui. So I decided to take it upon myself to make that happen.
Out of beta, everything should be working pretty well now
I hope you guys enjoy this bloody goodness as much as I do!

If it helps with the icons - you don't even need the apk or package name for most programs. If you visit the play store link for an app on a computer, the URL will have the package name in it, and the main image shown is a .png you can download and use for the icon.
For example..."poop rearing simulator mobile":
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.android.unko&hl=en
Between "id=" and "&hl" is the package name, jp.android.unko.
On the page itself, in the top-left box beneath "Poop Rearing Simulator Mobile" and "Y.soft", is the icon:
Windows clipboard doesn't like transparency, so I just save the icon, then (from chrome) drag-drop the new icon from the download bar into the template I've attached.
Scale it however you want...don't worry about the shape yet. Each one is different, but given the new MIUI style, I try to go for sweet and simple.
Since yours is red, you'd need to modify one of the overlay colors at first, but then you can just copy the layer style to the new icon, ctrl+click layer 0 to select the outline, select the new icon layer, and then hit the "add vector mask" button. Make sure to unlink the mask and layer in the case you want to scale the icon after the fact.
And just in case you (or anybody else reading) aren't sure how to do the last two (I know I avoided masks like the plague for years), refer to the highlighted spots in the attached picture for where to click to make a mask and unlink the two.
Then that's about it. I like to call my layer name whatever the package name is - and I copy/paste it right from the address bar into photoshop. Just easier to keep track of things when exporting.
And...er...sorry to jack your thread. I'd make this it's own tutorial thread, but I don't think there's a super-high demand for MIUI icon tutorials. However, feel free to share whatever you come up with in red - I'll try to do the same. If we're using the same template, then we could actually pool our resources to come up with a massive iconset.
Haha by all means post help when ever you want
I'm pretty good with Photoshop, illustrator is more up my alley but they're pretty similar. Just not much experience with android theming
I think the reason I'm having scaling issues with the .9.PNG files is because I just took a miui v5 theme and unzipped each com.android by adding a .zip extension to them.
Did you use a theme as a base or did you pull straight from a miui v5 ROM into the theme tool? Because the files seem to be in different places from v4 to v5

I did a combination of things. To extract all the v5 resources, I used MIUI Theme editor, then cleaned up the .xml files. I then used MTE to extract all the resources from the latest JB release of v4. Then it was a buttload of hunting and searching to find what elements did match up, and renaming/moving ones that did not.
However, by the looks of it, I'd guess that the scaling issues present in your screenshots are probably because you manually edited a .9 image and did something to the outside edge (definition) that it doesn't like. I had the same glitch in the compose box in MMS.apk. This is why it's essential to use the "hue" attribute when overlaying anything with color...it'll leave all the black borders untouched. Likewise, I'm actually editing a .9 image, I will cut out the inside graphics and make them their own layer before editing anything, just to be sure I don't kill the borders. .9patch is useful, but very very finnicky.
Ah yeah that would make sense, I did use the hue overlay. From what I can see the stuff I extracted doesn't have the guides that the .9's need in the first place. I Amy need to find a new rom or mtz to extract from.
It sucks because I did all the searching too, just haven't found everything haha
