Currently running cm-11-20140128, was thinking of trying some newer nightlies , question:
Do I need to flash gapps again??
Planning on just flashing over with the newer ones..
Thanx for your time...

Hello,
There a new version of the stock ROM for my conutry. Currently, I'm using CM 7.2. My question is, should I update the new version of the stock ROM and then install again CM? or that is not necessary?
Thanks.
Why would you get stock and install cm again???

Hi everyone,
I would like upgrade my CyanogenMod but on official website is just old version on kernel Android 2.3.7.
So, there is my question.
If I want new Android, must I download new CyanogenMod (official?) or stock rom?
And if you have answer on my question can you post link too, please?
Thx
Sorry for my english

Since our phone is old there is no official support for CM, therfore later versions do not exist officially. Under dev section http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1028 in Inc s there is some CM 9 and CM 10 roms which is made by ours devs. You can see their respective threads what bugs they have and so on. A dev has managed to run latest kernel on CM 9. He is working on CM10 (there is a thread Cyan Vivo X) however still not released so if you wait maybe a week or two I bet he will be done with what he is doing and realease somewhat bugfree rom.
So I tried it. There are few problems but it looks fine.
My question is : for the O2X,
Are all the Cyanogenmod 10.x development versions (official ) based on the old bootloader only or are there new bootloader official versions also?
thanks in advance

All official versions are for old bootloader only
In the development section is a CM10.1 unofficial version which can be used for the old OR new boatloader. tonyp T build http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265329
This version is pretty close to the latest CM10.1 nightlies and it solves some BUGs which are on the old boot loader official CM 10.1 version.

Anyone To help ??
No one cares i'll try and do it my self :crying: :silly:
10.2.1 is very good in daily use and stable, but I can recommend Mackay ICS 1.7. IMO the fastest build for our SGS. It miss some unique features from Android Jelly Bean but works a bit smoother.
Every time I downgrade version of Android I flash 2.3.6 JVZ by Odin, then CF-Root. Finally I install clean build by CWM. No problems so far.

I have CM11.0, works great on my old Galaxy S.
I think 4.4 is more adapted to small memory devices then 4.3
Never tried CM 10, but CM11M6-CM11M8 is faster / more stable then any stockrom I had. Feels like a new device.
IMHO Updating GB 2.3.6 to CM11.0 M8 is a no brainer.
Hey , Ive tried every single thing to not get this error but I am getting some assert broadband error. I tried the assert removing method but then it gives me status 6 error. Ive also tried the cm13 zip method but that is not working. I tried to install cm14 and resurrection remix nougat but both are giving the same error. Ive searched threads but couldnt find anything related to this.
I would suggest update the baseband via flashing MIUI based updated rom or you might find a link for BB update in DU ROM thread

Alright will try both. Which ROM should I use fastboot rom or normal flashable rom?
Well I'm a twrp lover , I don't like fastboot ROMs. I would suggest download the zip from en.miui.com & try it.Post that you can try flashing AndN ROM from XDA. I'm using DU by shahan which is pretty nice but you will lose camera quality.you check my posts to find the ROM
