hello there after that i have installed a custom rom in my xperia x8 by android 2.1 to custom rom gingerfloyo 2.9 the phone have a problem:
when i connect the phone to the charger, the phone always restart instead shutdown it...
help I do not know what to do
if something help me a downgrade the phone to 1.6 i can update the phone with seus and the problem should deleted...correct
sorry for my bad english
You should be able to downgrade it with any regular flasher for the x8. I did it too, when i was a newb in rooting and using cm's. You just need a firmware flasher and the x8's original 1.6 firmware. Anyway, that's what i had used xD
Sent from my Xperia X8
Why do you want to go back to 1.6?
If I understood you right, you have GingerFloyo right now, so you can also go back with flashing your 2.1 backup with xrecovery, or, if you haven´t made one, you can go back to 2.1 via PCC/SEUS.
so now i have 2.9 floyo however the bug there is also the in my beck up of 2.1...
Georg1992ad i need a firmware flasher and the x8's original 1.6 firmware
you can pass me?
codfreak for you...what is the more stable custom rom in xperia x8??(something version by 2.1 to 2.3)
many thanks to all
Sorry again for my English as soon as I fix the phone i will learn it xD

again thank to all..
i don't know what i could make without your help
I´ve looking for a downgrade for my X8 until i found this post with some similarities mith my case, I hope u dont mind that I asked for some help in the post of someonelse
Well, I upgrade my X8 to MiniCM6-1.0.1 and to do this i follow a tutorial on youtube, but after root my phone and installed a baseband that ends in ...xxx015 in order to install the MiniCM6-1.0.1 I realized that my phone couldnt conect to internet in 3g mode.. someweeks after that i tried to recover 3g mode by installing Hackdroid Floyo 2.2.5 and I discovered that i completely lost conection to internet (even EDGE and GSM mode) and since then I´ve trying to Downgrade my phone with SEUS and PCC but both dind´t work
So finally im trying to downdrade my X8 with Falshtool but when the program is going to start flashing an error appears and this is what it says
ERROR - Error in processHeader
ERROR - Error flashing. Aborted
Please could u help me to find a solution to this?
Thanks for ur time
Have you repaired with pc companion yet and why are using old roms?
Sent from my E15 using XDA App
Yes, i tried PC companion and it did not work y also tried to repair with SEUS but also did not work.
To be true i didn´t know that MiniCM6-1.0.1 was old... my BIG mistake was to follow a tutorial video on youtube to upgrade my X8 from 2.1.1 (original firmware) to 2.2.1 without looking for more detail information
When I installed the hacdroid version and after config the APN I was able to conect to internet just in EDGE mode, but one day after (and until now) I lost conection to internet in anymode My provider gave me some manual configuration and even resets my service but it didn´t work
Any idea to solve internet and flashtool problems?
Thanks a lot!

Dude! I had the very same problem as you when I installed MINICM6 back in August, and yes, I did watch that video showing how to install it.
But anyway, I repaired my phone and I'm on GDX since

U said big mistake without looking at more detail info.. so what was that big mistake? Missing requirements, steps, etc?
Who knows Maybe we can find clue there...

When I said Big mistake I mean that i didn't look for more information about using ROMS i didnt know anything about kernels and basebands and looking in the web i found this amazing comunity and I'm learning a LOT about roms basebands kernels.
Well looking here (in the forum) i found a solution to my internet problem (actually I copied just APN type from a minixperia x10) and for the 3g issue i already changed to the correct baseband, tomorrow i will tested if the 3g is already working (I hope so)
And now i just looking for a stable ROM because the MiniCM6-1.0.1 is kind of buggy
Thanks to all for your time

To be a litle bit more specific about the error, It was that i just followed all the steps in the 4 videos of a tutorial on youtube, I mean I never asked myself if that steps were the most adecuate for my device (obviusly it wasn't) The autor of the videos gave a link with a baseband for a E15i and my x8 is an E15a and for that i lost 3g
And about the internet problem... until now i dont know what was the exactly error, I mean what could happened to miss the internet conection form one day to the next day... The APN that I configured myself was working in MiniCM6 and just for one day worked on floyo hackdroid 2.2.5 and next day no internet conection (SO WEIRD) and just copying the APN type from other device (same provider) everything works fine until now.

I am not entirely sure what all your post means (Bad google translate?)
However, my advice is to repair your phone using pccompanion.

Hi!
I also have the same problem with Xperia T. The phone keeps restarting many times daily. After rebooting It loses very offen sim-card and wi-fi function. 1 month ago it was flashed to 9.1.A.0.489 by PC Companion.
I tried and it doesn't work:
- flashing again 9.1.A.0.489 with PC COMPANION and SUS
- flashing again 9.1.A.0.489 with Flashtool
- flashing 9.1.A.0.492
- back to 7.0.A.3.197
- [TWRP]Stock Kernel on 9.1.A.0.489
Any idea?
i found a new thing. The phone is stable in "flight" mode.
Hi all, I've been trawling through the forums for over a day trying to fix my problem of no mobile network on any of the 4.2.2 based roms,
I can see my imei no, baseband (I8190NXXAMD3) etc. However my network is "unknown:0", signal strength "0dbm 99asu" and the rom doesn't see my phone number,
I have, flashed + reflashed with wipes of data cache and dalvik.
Checked my APN settings (default is ok, though on initial boot isn't selected) [also reentering my apn settings and clicking save seems to delete my APN(s)].
I have disabled wifi + gps etc, aeroplane mode on+off several times, many reboots etc. ( i have noticed that on first boot the mobile data tile(toggle switch) says "no service" and the signal indicator is shown in the status/notification bar [empty, no signal], but after enabling then disabling aeroplane mode it changes to "emergency calls only" and the signal indicator icon disappears from the top right,
I have tried Maclaws 4.2.2 releases (aokp,cm10.1,PAC) and Team Golden's releases (including the latest ParanoidAndroid 3.69) all have no mobile network issue ass described.
I also found a modified build.prop on one of the other threads (for aokp) and imported it over the one i had, made no difference
the only thing i haven't done is flash via odin, all flashes are performed from the latest CWM (not trusting this laptop atm)
DModv6 is working fine for now, but i'd really like to update to one of the 4.2.2 releases, developers doing a great job bringing it to the s3 mini =D
If there is anything else i can do to assist in fixing this issue please don't hesitate to ask me.
flash official firmware of your region >root>use csc changer to change csc >then follow instruction to install 4.2.2 rom , i think the CSC is the problem .
TRY PACMAN(team golden)
CSC is not the problem here. CM-based roms doesn't even use it.
You're not the only one with this problem. I've seen a few more with same issue.
Anyway..you should really try to flash a stock firmware using odin to see if everything is working ok, not only on dmod.

Yes thanks, tried that (as i said) =]
still waiting for a good opportunity to reflash stock with odin. Hopefully might solve some of the random "front end" crashes i get.
i will update the thread as i have flashed and if any other revelations come to light.
Thanks for all the help here at xda =D
flashed...
ok so i downloaded firmware - I8190NXXALL6_H3GALL2_UK_H3G_Android_4.1.2.zip
and flashed with odin, log stated no errors, but stuck in a boot loop. (on first boot cwm asks to install unsigned package, clicked yes, restart, then stuck on samsung loading screen)
Reflashed maclaw studios latest aokp release just to test, inc factory reset and dalvik wipe ofc, but still no network =[ (checked APN, aeroplane mode on/off etc)
also back to baseband ALL6 instead of AMD3 now
Restored backup to DMod6 (still got ALL6 baseband) and everything working again.
Just wish i could get 4.2.2 working with network...
Any ideas?
thanks
* Also thought that firmware should have had the H3G logo for boot animation, not samsung.. bit odd =]
Any help?
Anyone had any similar problems, and managed to overcome them?
Or can anyone point me to any tuts/guides so i can maybe fix the problem myself, whether it be "splicing" 2 ROM's or whatever.
Buddy believe me I tried it out with Maclaw's CM10.1 and I don't know why but I had the exact same problem than you so my only solution was to test it again with stock rom and later with Dmod v6 too check everything was all right againg and my issue was fixed, hope to help you in something and find out a solution for your problem.

So let me get this straight. Is this what u did?
Cm10.1 - no network
Flash stock - all working
Flash Dmod6 - all working
Flash Cm10.1 again - working network.

Ok thanks for your input,
Well i tried latest CM10.1 already (big thanks to the maclaw team) but still no network, currently on ALL6 baseband, same issues as previously, no network, presuming sim drivers not working properly for me as it doesnt show my number.
Any1 got a link to somewhere with a list of available Modem files (different basebands) ready for download?

new Version available already,
Solution
Dear Sheephog,
Did you find a solution for this? I'm having a very similar problem with CM11 on i8190n. On Touchwiz, mobile network and data are fine. But when I install Maclaw's latest CM11 build (whether using clockworkmod or TWRP), factory reset, then reboot, CM11 boots up nicely /except/ mobile network and data are unknown. Network Operators (in Settings>Wireless and networks>Mobile Network Settings) yields "Error while searching for networks". A restore to Touchwiz gets mobile network and data back no problem.
(My baseband version is I8190NXXAMJ2.)
Thanks

Device : Sony Xperia ZR C5502
Rom/ Firmware : Stock ROM JB 4.3
Build Version: 10.4.B.0.569
Boot Loader :Unlocked
Rooted : Yes
Bluetooth and wifi does not work
Hello,
After getting the latest 5.1.1 OTA (build 23.4.A.0.546), my Wifi connection keeps dropping irregularly: sometimes the connection is stable for one hour, most of the times it drops after a few seconds. This happens on any Wifi network (tried both home, work and public Wifi).
Sometimes after a reboot the WLAN mac address is "unknown" and then I can't get a connection at all (I have to reboot until my mac address "comes back")
The connection drop happens in Safe mode as well.
Steps I've tried to fix this:
-Repair phone with PC Companion => doesn't change anything, Wifi is even unavailable during the setup process after initial boot.
-Tried flashing with Flashtool to a previous Lollipop version (5.0.2 23.1.A.128 which worked fine with my phone before) =>
doesn't work: I can't flash the device, despite installing the latest (0.9.19.0) version of Flashtool and the drivers, I have the following error when preparing the firmware:
Code:
16/054/2015 18:54:07 - INFO - Selected Bundle for Sony Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803). FW release : 23.1.A.1.28. Customization : Customized_FR
16/054/2015 18:54:07 - INFO - Preparing files for flashing
16/054/2015 18:54:07 - ERROR -
16/054/2015 18:54:07 - INFO - Cannot open bundle. Flash operation canceled
The firmware was downloaded through Mega, with a link provided in the Xda forum thread with the firmwares list.
For the sake of it, I tried with two different firmwares: another downloaded from the forum, and one from Xperifirm; unfortunately the same error happens in Flashtool when preparing the firmware.
Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks.
I'm using same version firmware and the Wifi works perfectly. have you tried deactivate "Auto IP support" and "Passpoint"? and try turn off Stamina mode.

Yes, both Auto IP support and Passpoint are deactivated.
The issue persists with or without Stamina mode activated as well.

I've downloaded two firmwares from that list and tried to flash my phone with Flashtool without success.
I already had installed the drivers while disabling the Driver Check Enforcement as specified on your link, and tried with the method described in http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/03/17/guide-to-installing-xperia-lollipop-using-xperifirm-and-flashtool/ as well but I'm having the same error message.
Any idea on how what I could have missed to make Flashtool work?
Thanks for your help.
Make sure you have the latest version of Flashtool and place it on root path C:/ or external HDD E:/ G:/ and so on. Firmware must be placed in C:/users/<your username>/.firmware (not sure if it is correct)

Thanks to you, I was able to find my mistake: I was foolishly trying to create the bundle from the downloaded firmware, but I just needed to paste the downloaded firmware in the folder: C:\Users\<UserName>\.flashTool\firmwares
I was able to flash my device with the 5.0.2 Lollipop version and the WiFi is working fine so far.
Still don't know why I had problems with 5.1.1 in the first place but I can work with the previous version while waiting for 6.x.x.
Thanks again for your help.

I'm having WiFi issue on 5.1.1 too, on my Z3 compact. Sometimes (seeming randomly) after waking the phone, the wifi icon in the status bar has a ' ! ' next to it for a while and I don't get an internet connection untill the ' ! ' is gone. Usually takes around 5 to 15 seconds.
